same code; different answer

I use a very simple script that I used at least half a dozen times on different projects and it has always worked before. Spent hours re-sticky of the code, try variations and this stupid thing won't work. There is an iTunes gift for the first person that helps me solve this dilemma of crazy. Here is the code:

Main timeline rolls and meets this script:

So in this case, it must jump label image "m1".
but the code is simply ignored.

As I said, I have this job in about 6 different projects and it always of the functions. I copied and pasted the code again and again, trying to find the bug. Completely lost.

Use _root.gotoAndPlay (label) instead of gotoAndPlay (label) and put

trace (this + "" + label);

just before the goto method and fix

trace (this + "" + this ._currentframe);

in your frame of m1.

show the exit sign?

  • Use the same code module to multiple steps in the sequence

    Hi all

    I tried to implement a sequence that uses the same code for all steps module in the order, but I'm not returning to it when I need to send it commands.  I got regarding the appellant the VI in a new thread so that it can be executed asynchronously.  I can run the simple sequence and it will indeed open the VI and move to the next step.  When I close the VI manually from the front, the TestStand sequence is completed, as planned.  So it turns out that I have a lot more work.

    My question is how to call the thread separate from the main sequence and other sequences overtime when I need to change the settings.  If I insert a step in the Action, I have to select a file of VI, but from what I can tell, it opens another instance of the file and does not provide an interface with the other asycronously running instance.  My next guess was to use a stage of education, but I was not able to understand how to configure the search string to call the VI settings.  In addition, I don't know how to proceed.  Please notify.

    My intention is to start the module code (asynchronously) VI, run several different subsequences in the main sequence, which call this same VI and edit its settings, close everything and report the results.  If I'm understand how TestStand is supposed to work, please let me know.

    What I do is use a queue to send data to the asynchronous VI.  So he can run and whatever, but also receive orders from the queue.  I use a motor of Action that contains the reference to queue and sends the commands.  If you really just call the engine of the Action of your sequences.

  • What happens when two computers call the same code stored in networked storage?

    We have our code on the network storage and have worked on a single computer code.  We have now replicated our configuration and want to use the same code to run the new installation to another computer.  We want to run simultaneously both configurations (both using the same storage networking code).  Will there be conflicts here, or both computers load their own copy of the vi to run from?  I must say that we do not have global variables.

    I am interested in the answer to this question anyway, but I'd be happy to hear any suggestions (or even critical) on how to do what we do.

    You should seriously consider a source control system, which is the best solution here. This gives you an original copy of the code on the network. Each computer retrieves the latest revision of the source control, make a copy on the local disk. Source control keeps a good backup and allows you to track and compare the versions or to return to the old code, when something breaks.

    I'm fairly certain that you can open the same screw that is stored on a network drive on multiple computers simultaneously. Global variables are not relevant here. Each computer is independently responsible for the screw in memory. The problem is if edit you and save the VI on a computer while it is open on another, and if you make changes on both at the same time, will certainly lose you some of her edits and could possibly corrupt your VI and lose all, that's why you should use a source code control system.

    If you have the request of the manufacturer, I recommend your building code in an application. You can store the network application if you want and run it on multiple computers.

    P.S. I deleted a whole bunch of MXF files to make, believeing that they were all duplicates. Of course, they were not, because the one I saved, I put in first to check and it displays only one segment of the film. Therefore, I think that all of the MXF should be connected and when you transfer one in, full MXF is displayed, however... If you delete everything except a MXF thought they are all duplicates, you only this segment of production. Seems to work quite the way to crazy? lol that sounds too wise in what concerns the gigabytes. However, first give the properties for that 1 file that you are importing, even if it is connected to all the other files. Projects likely to be total MXF gigabytes. Because I deleted all the files except one, I'm re - make everything. I'll let him place in case someone else runs into the same situation, I am sure someone will... lol

    It's probably not the right explanation.  Many export (which is different a rendering, take note of that) their projects directly from the sequence, effects and everything and get perfectly workable results.  In fact, I would say more that everybody does things like that.  I use MB effects for years, and yes it's hard reading.  But export always out just fine even on my system of $800.

    While your exports come out wobbly, it would probably be to fix it the problem to be solved.  But I would probably start looking for somewhere other than the effects.  Only those should not create the issue you described.

    I run 2 sites. I have google calendar embedded in a page from site 1, it works fine in chrome, firefox and IE.
    Site 2 has the same schedule, a code identical, but rendered will alone in chrome, empties nothing in Firefox and IE get an error message saying that are not displayed in a frame. IE will load only in a separate page, after that I connected to Google.

    Same code, 2 sites, works in a site and not the other. It's a mystery to solve.

If you bought a new PC and no longer intend to use the old, feel free to reuse the old key (depending on the time since the last activation you may have to do it by phone rather than online; any format in case you're giving away there).     Yes, you will need this same code applied to all pages you want to track. Simplest is to add to your Master Pages rather than individual pages.

    I'm looking to use some features of the OS 5.0 such as the transitional API.  Is there sort of having a base code that will compile in different versions of the JDE, but exclude the code blocks if the OS does not meet the requirements?

    For example, transitions on a device to OS 5.0 but not appear on device OS 4.5.

    Ideally, I'm looking for a solution that would integrate directly with Eclipse and debug without any extra steps in the two versions of the operating system.

    Try to do research on the "preprocessor directives", you can use this to do what you need.

    Basically, you wrap the code OS 5.0 in the guidelines such as:

    Then, enable you or disable directives in the compiler generate COD versions for each platform.

    Hello and I hope you can help me on this one.

    I wrote a previous question on the manufacturing/copy original image while simultaneously making a boot device because my HARD drive is dying (clicking sound) on me and want to transfer to my new HARD drive.

    I managed successfully the image and install windows and Samsung from components (for example, recovery, etc.) to my new HARD drive, but there was a problem that I have met/summer guest on.

    It was on Windows not activated, asking me to activate by buying a new key.

    0xC004C008 error code

    Clearly, I have the same PC with the same parties and other with the exception of the newly replaced HARD drive.

    I plan to re-upgrade to windows 8.1 but I felt that this error can cause another big error on my Samsung series 3 laptop.

    Is there a way to fix this, or do I really need to buy a new key (I think a scam because I just replaced my HARD drive)?
