• Just updated through the creative application of cloud and now lightroom will not load again.

  As the title suggests:

  I've just updated creative cloud app, run lightroom from the standard m desktop shortcut and got 5.7. You who quit and tried to run the shortcut again. No charge.

  Thought it might do with still some 5.7 installed, uninstalled as well as through cloud creative app and it still don't load. Noticed that the creative application cloud still showed as being installed lightroom (5.7 has disappeared the first uninstall). Choose uninstall again and this time she went from the installation of the application to be an option to install section.

  Installed new version and it will not load.

  Could someone please advise how to solve this problem I would like to be able to access my files and the changes that I made.

  Sounds like something went PEAR somewhere along the line. I would suggest relocation like this:

  • Go to Download Firefox 4.0 and download a fresh install on the desktop file.
  • Then go to add/remove programs, scroll down to Mozilla Firefox and remove it, choosing to keep your bookmarks, etc., the customizations (don't tick the box).
  • Reboot and delete the folder called Mozilla Firefox at this location: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
  • Finally, run the downloaded installation file.

  After completing the installation, go to the Plugins check page and those if necessary updated.

  Thanks - kept looking around and found a rec to make a reset of Firefox. This seems to have worked.

Just one day, I changed the time on the computer to the front and then Firefox will begin to record history. Changed, there again at the present time and also return one day and it will not save.   Some Firefox problems can be solved by performing a clean reinstall. This means that you remove Firefox program files, and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps:

  Note: You can print these steps or consult them in another browser.

  1. Download the latest version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org office and save the installer to your computer.
  2. Once the download is complete, close all Firefox Windows (click on quit in the file menu or Firefox).
  3. Remove the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:

It has been stable over the years and now it will not work. I get no help when I diagnoise of problems, but I never. It has been checked and rechecked. PitStop does not even recognize a problem. I could change the homepage, but I prefer to use Google if it works. Frustrating.

  You may need to update your toolbar, google has made some changes just about everything and possibly that the page is not where it used to be.
