Sansa Clip - stuck on the refresh database... I don't know how go you to the SMC is stuck on the refresh database...

Hey guys,.

I had to look around the forum without result...

Have a new Sansa Clib 4 GB... Spend 2 hours sorting of a list of synchronization... (Who has no record on a playlist... )

Put on I "Refresh database" at about 20%, which is frozen right there...

I've read about the opening in MSC? to find the bad file which is the cause (correct me if I'm wrong)

But can't figure out how to do something that he is stuck on the refresh database...

Through 60 GB of music earlier and really don't want what should once again!

Please help, not very good techno animal

Thank you

PAM

Go into the menu settings of clips and then use the system settings internal to format the drive (sorry it will delete all the music on the player). Once that is completed, make sure that you have the latest firmwire. Then download mp3tag (google it) and use it to check the tags of all your files, make sure that they are all Id3 tags, and that there is no mistake on any of them (sorry, this can take some time). Then, make sure that the clip is in MSC mode. Then use windows Explorer to drag and drop the files you want onto the clip on the clip. Disconnect and then turn it on. Leave it to update the database (do not touch anything). If you have music you know to be protected DRM you will need to plug the "rocket" back in and use Windows Media or any other similar program to add these files. I hope this gets you going.
