Sansa has a player take SDXC cards?

I know that the clamps and the rockets are not compatible with SDXC cards. But I wonder if Sansa has come out with a player who is? I saw nothing.

Can a Rockboxed Clip + or rocket to take an SDXC card? I do not have my Sansas Rockboxed, but this could be the boost I need to do.

No, Sandisk does not offer a player who accepts the SDXC format natively. And with the direction, the company seems to be going, I doubt you'll see a. The dedicated mp3 players market is shrinking as more and moe people are now using their phones or other multimedia devices to play their music. Personally, I believe that we will never see another player like the series of Sandisk Fuze or Clip again. They passed.

Yes, a Clip of Rockboxed +, Clip Zip or rocket will be an SDXC card. But then so using firmware Moose too... If you re - format the card in FAT32 instead of the exFAT file format the card comes natively with. RB does not recognize the SDXC format either, so if that's your only reason to try it, don't bother. Rockbox has many other features and options not present in (original firmware), so it benefits a lot of people. But this isn't for everyone.

  • SDXC cards

I know that many have asked to their computer and their compatibility cards SDXC, but I have the same question before I buy one.  It doesn't seem to be an easy way to verify that they work on your particular computer.  In any case, anyone know if a Pavilion HPE-1234 running WIndows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit is compatible with SDXC cards?  What about the UHS-1 versions, are they supported?

SDXC cards are not compatible with the card reader to your desktop computer.

Source reference: Specifications for your desktop PC.

This does not mean that the SDXC UHS-1 cards are out of the question. You do not have a desktop PC and you can buy and install a card reader compatible with the format you want. It's just a matter of looking for the card reader you need, purchase, installed in an available housing and connect to a USB port. Take a look at what NewEGG and other online sellers have to offer.

  • What works with SDXC cards

Searched through the various models of ACER laptop card, but they just say they have card SD, somewhat vague given to consider & SD, SDHC SDXC readers!

I have a camera with a 64 GB SDXC card & I won't be buying a machine that cannot read the card.

I was watching something small & light such as the V5-123, so if anyone out there has one of these & an SDXC card maybe they will be able to report on compatibility.

    Hello

The card reader to support SDXC V5-123 up to 2 TB in size.

    Hope this helps,

  • XP service pack 3. installation of exFAT. Recognition of SDXC card

I'm trying to download files from a card SDXC 64 GB to my PC running Windows XP SP3 by using a card reader SDXC and directly from my SDXC compatible camera.  After investigating the causes of the failure I downloaded the file:

    WindowsXP-KB985704 - x 86 - ENU.exe

I assume that, when it is installed, it will be possible to have the recognized SDXC card and download files on my PC.  However, when I try to run the file .exe above I repeatedly get the message "system cannot find the file specified."  I checked that the file is in a folder called 'Downloads' in 'My Documents'.

    Can someone please help?

This can occur when the file has permissions for the user (you), but not the administrator (which is the account that runs the .exe file).

Check the file permissions and the downloads directory. Have you downloaded this file on your desktop and then moved to downloads?

  • Satellite A300 - card reader does support SDXC cards?

How can I find out if my SD card reader supports SDXC cards.
My laptop is a satellite A300 and the properties of the so-called card reader 'SDA Standard compatible SD Host controller'.

I am able lto using SDXC cards with this device and if not I am able to upgrade the software to support SDXC cards?

    Thanks for your help

    Hello

I read in the forum on Satellite A300 card reader and I found the info very useful.
The card reader supports the types of cards:

    -SD Card - 8MB - 2GB
    -SDHC - 4 GB card
    -photo - 16 MB - 2 GB xD card
    -Memory Stick - 8MB - 256MB
    -Memory Stick Pro - 256 MB - 2 GB
    -MultiMediaCard - 8 MB - 1 GB
-miniSD (with SD adapter) - 32 MB - 2 GB

As you can see that the SDXC cards are not taken in charge... in this case I recommend using a common external USB card that would support the SDXC cards

  • SDXC card

I get a 64 GB sdxc card for my iMac running OS X El Capitan and not sure if I have to format it to use it correctly. If so, can I use disk utility to do this, and what format do I use or do I need another program?

Thanks in advance for any help.

How it is formatted depends on how you use the card, if its for use in your digital camera, format him there. If you do not want to use it for extra storage on the Mac and then format it in disk utility in Mac OS extended (journaled).

    Hello

AFAIK the SD SD card reader supports card up to 2 GB, SDHC up to 16 GB and mini SD (with adapter) up to 2GB.

I didn t find all the details on the use of larger SDHC cards and I think you will have to test it yourself. But in my opinion, there could be a problem with these cards!

I have an imac mid-2010. What is the best way to read the sdxc cards? Thank you

If you have a mid-2010 model, built card reader must be able to read an SDXC card. Previous models can only access the SD cards.
