  First of all, I would like to say that this forum is so great, because after fighting for a week trying to install XP, I had finally finished it, however now comes part 2 of the problem :(

  Before I installed XP on my system I did so that I have all the drivers, I went on the Toshiba site and downloaded all the XP drivers. When responsible got XP I could see there was a lot of drivers uninstalled in Device Manager, so I installed them. However, a few of them remain and I don't know what to do as I downloaded all from the Web from Toshiba site.

  I myself remember before I installed the drivers there are 2 required audio and one of them installed, I also tried to install the "Display driver" but I can't because its not letting me run the actual setup file it says the file www.LATICRETE.com being created is more than 88 characters: s never seen this error before.

  So in all I have 3 missing drivers, they are:

  Audio device on High Definition Bus Audio - but my sound works
  PCI controller memory, and
  Video controller (VGA Compatible)

  Any ideas of what I could do? Thank you

  As you know the European driver Toshiba page doesn t provide all drivers XP FRO this model of laptop. I m not very well why, but I think that this laptop was equipped with an AMD processor and not all the XP drivers are available for these models of laptops.

  But don t worry buddy. You can use some one other series of notebook XP drivers because many models of laptop computers support the same features as the PSAELE A210.

  I also have the A210 PSAELE and I could use most of the other series A210 and A200 XP drivers.

  Having recently bought a Toshiba Satellite Pro A100-02Y (PSAAPE) it came with Vista which I removed and placed a copy of XP pre-installed.

  I downloaded and installed all the drivers for XP but have Ethernet conflicts and mass storage controller and can't seem to find the drivers to correct this.

  I checked the page, and it seems that for Windows 7 there are no drivers. I think that it of why Satellite X 200 is quite old.

  But from my own experience, I can say that most of the Vista drivers are also work on Windows 7. You should check this too! ;)

  It is written, that the maximum size of memory is 512 MB.

  But this laptop is based on the chipset intel 845MZ, which supports up to 1 024 MB of RAM.
  So the question is: can I install 1 GB of memory (512 + 512) in this machine?

  And the related question: bus system runs on a 400 MHz - can I use PC2100, PC2700 memory instead of PC1600 suggested?

  As it is written iny technical specifications, the maximum size is 512 MB.
  Even if Intel 845MZ chipset supports that presentation of the motherboard is not.

  Sorry to tell you that buddy and PC2100, PC2700 do not work either. Just use the recommended PC1600.

  All that seems page driver Toshiba does not provide drivers W2k for this new notebook but don t give up DUDE ;)

  The problem is Ubuntu here. The Bluetooth adapter is directly connected to the USB bus, so it should work without any problems if the OS is delivered with the appropriate software to Bluez. Try to update your Ubuntu installation (apt - get update). Make sure bluez is correctly installed.
