  The point is that there are no details or info on HARD drive sizes compatible max.
  If we can only speculate.
  Is the laptop seems to support SATA hard drives and in my opinion one 250 GB or more should work.
  But this is only a personal opinion, and it would be very interesting to know if a HDD 320 would work too.

  The BIOS cannot recognize my new 500 GB SATA HARD drive. When I connect it to the laptop, BIOS says "No device" in the drive options. Tried jumper allows you to change the interface of disc HARD SATA-1, but without effect.
  How can I force the BIOS to recognize?

  BIOS version: Phoenix v.2.60 for Vista
  HARD drive: Seagate 500 GB 7200 RPM SATA

  Have you tried the drive in another computer?

  Maybe your new drive HARD isn t working properly or defective so use another rnotebook to test it or request a replacement HARD drive.

  I agree with Akuma. You must take the HARD disk at 5400 RPM. It should be pretty fast and produces less heat. It is good for office and multimedia applications.

  Vista needs and used 2 partitions. The second partition is not visible and it s necessary to Vista backup and restore functions.

  If you want to just buy a second memory module, I'd be the same module as the first. So that you know its module is compatible with the laptop and normally two identical modules must be used in the book to avoid problems of incompatibility.

  But as far as I know A100-233 can handle up to 667 MHz modules. If the first module runs with 533 MHz, the second module will work also on 533 MHz. This means that the modules are compatible downgrade.

  I put t know which laptop model you have chosen, but Toshiba modem drivers are definitely released and published on the page of the driver.

  Go to the download driver of and choose:
  Laptops-> Satellite-> Satellite series-> Satellite A100 (PSAA8)-> XP

  Satellite A100-233 is a part of the series of PSAA8E and therefore, you should choose this number
