  I think the keyboard could be compatible, but I doubt the battery designed for Sat A110 would be compatible with the model A100.

  I think that this BIOS (v2.0) is not released for Windows 7 and that it has also not been tested with Windows 7. This BIOS has published 21.01.2009 and Windows 7 was released on July 22, 2009. However, on the other hand it s not mentioned that this BIOS is not compatible with Win 7.

  I have a Toshiba Satellite A110-180 and when I turn on the computer, the fan turns on but it stops in a few seconds and starts again in a while and stops again and starts... Then the laptop gets heat quickly.

  My advice to you is: do not change anything.
  If you have problems to run Win7 on this old machine, I think that you shouldn't change anything. I think that the BIOS update will bring benefits, so there is no reason to change anything.
