  Maximum performance is fairly general term. I hope that you know very well that Vista needs far more resources than Windows XP Home edition and, in general, it might be a little more slowly. Of course, performance is dependent on all the background running processes.

  First of all, I have a Vista Home Premium 1BP A200 and I lost the product recovery disc and I want to create one with "Recdisc.exe" product of Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator or Vista.

  They both failed because I didn't get a message "No disk HARD recovery Area!", then I looked in the "Disk management" section and could not find any partition without a name.

  There were two primary Partition which were 1.46 GB 'in good condition (EISA Configuration)"and my Vista (c).
  So, what should I do? Can I create a recovery partition?
  Or can I set the Recovery Disc Creator? (v. 5.0.0.5)

  PS: I got my computer several times with my CD, which probably used my recovery partition.
  Seriously, I'm out of ideas and I don't want to lose 50 dollars just to get another copy of disc PR.

  PS2: I used press '0' and 'F8' thing too, they no longer work.
  Is there a way I can restore without any disk?

  The first 1.46 GB partition is automatically created by Vista and the C partition is the system partition, the partition of HARD drive recovery doesn't seem to be available

  If you have installed the system using Microsoft Vista disk then, it was a big mistake because it deleted the partition of HARD drive

  Before installing WXP starts, you will be asked to format certain partition where Windows will be installed. If your laptop can format two or more partitions C partition only. This is the place where you will install Windows XP Home edition.

  To be honest, I recommend you delete all partitions available, create another (maybe 50% of the capacity of the HARD disk) and install it on Windows XP Home edition.

  Before you begin installing Windows XP Home edition, you must load SATA driver. It can be done with the F6 option and using the floppy drive. Driver SATA on the right you can find HERE.
  Download and navigate to the F6flpy folder > ICH7M_32bit. Files placed in this folder should be loaded. Otherwise HARD drive is not recognized correctly.

  I have problem when I started a player (winamp player or a movie or a game with the sound) and I want to change the sound from the speaker to the helmet by plug them into the headphone jack. The sound is still speaker.

  I have the Satellite A200 too preinstalled with recovery DVDs. I was very curious and I tested it on my laptop. In my case everything was OK. Through the use of headphones, Laptop speakers are automatically TURNED off. Remove helmet speakers work again.

  I Don t think that the sound card is capable of doing 5.1/7.1 since there are many takes longer then a "sound-output.

  If I were you, I would buy an external USB soundcard that is capable of doing 5.1 or 7.1 to offer you experience complete home theater.

  But I recommend to check the sound settings first.
  I guess that's a Realtek audio chip in the Realtek audio Manager panel you could supply some parameters that control the headphones and speakers.
