  Have you tried to do an update of Toshiba Assist? A new version and all the other stuff from Toshiba which you can find here:

  Maybe the update will solve the problem.

  On command buttons, I think you need to configure iTunes as standard Media Player and select all the files to iTunes playlist.

  I just bought a toshiba satellite a300-1mc and cannot get the bluetooth to work on it. ???

  The error is caused by the order of the pre-installed Intel display driver installation.
  The problem could be fixed by reinstalling the Intel Display Treibers V15.9.5.1502 or higher.

• Satellite A300-1MC - WLan is not working - no network controller

  Just bought Satellite A300-1MC.
  It does not recognize Netgear wireless network (even with 'walk' "and switch alt F8 active), or a BT HomeHub network (is not 'see' their at all).

  To check device manager... can not see that there is no installed... wireless driver no wireless card doesn't seem to be listed. (Network controller has a yellow exclaim question). Network card installed is REALTEK RTL8102E PCI... which I think takes care of the wired ethernet connection).

  Any ideas how to get operating a wi - fi connection? (I have "worked around" the issue of a Wi - Fi connection using a card spare provided by NetGear USB, but I would get the internal card to work.)

  Should I have the software for the network controller? If so, what & where I get it? Or a driver for the card Wi - Fi internal? If yes what is it and where to get them?

  Any help much appreciated.

  Well, I think you mixed with something.
  The LAN card is Realtek but the WLan card comes from Intel!

  So if you wifi card doesn't work I recommend that you download the WLan driver from this page:
  http://195.182.196.33/WLAN/?page=downloads

  Here you choose the Intel PRO/Wireless 3945/4965/5100/5300 driver that should work for sure.

  Laptop failed (A300-1MC)

  No available recovery disk
  Replaced HARD drive
  Installed Vista using the borrowed from the previous model of Toshiba Satellite recovery disk
  Installed the missing drivers-online work system without valid product key
  Connected the old HARD drive using the box external usb
  Launched original TRORDCLauncher on the old disk - no error

  So now, I apparently have 2 recovery DVDs.

  Question: Will these DVD restore to original system?

  The previous Satellite was no TRORDCLauncher and come included with recovery disks

• Satellite A300-1MC: SOLVED - how to reduce the startup time of Vista

  Today, I found a way to reduce my Toshiba A300 1mc of startup time.
  Normally, it should be 3 minutes power button on the desktop.

  I now have it down to 1 minute by uninstalling Tempro version 1.1 and reinstall version 2 of Toshiba downloads.
  He p me off why it would take so long to start, I tried msconfig and the removal of some software, but still nothing.
  but by removing the own software Toshiba did it starts faster than anything...

  Just thought I would pass it this info... so if you want a quick start of time "DELETE TEMPRO" that you can make from the Control Panel Add/Remove programs.

  I bought 4 GB of memory RAM upgrade Pro and it does not seem to detect it on my A300-1MC

  Here is the link for the RAM I got where it is evil, but I doubt it because the part number matches what I need:

  My advice is to return and buy compatible and tested modules of RAM. What you need is 4 GB DDR2 - 800 MHz module, with PA3670U-1M4G part number. It seems that the RAM you bought must be right, but... What is the brand of this module?

  Best brand for the Rams is KINGSTON.
  Check it out on KTT800D2 / 4G.

  Is RAM recognized if you use only this new RAM (slot A)?

• Satellite A300-1MC - CD player does not read any disk

  I have a brand new A300-1MC, old so probably not a malfunction already 5 days only!

  Yesterday I have it configured my printer and camera, no problem at all when playing the discs. However, tonight the CD player is not just reads any disc, have tried everything from a DVD on a music CD.

  I'm not too hot with the computer stuff but hoping that someone out there will be able to help and hoping it's something really simple! Did a scan for virus, just in case, but nothing appeared.
