Satellite A350-13D PSAL6E; sound rattles

Hello

My Satellite A350-13D (bought in July ' 09) makes a strange clicking off the speakers sound.
It is intermittent and it looks static interference or when the HARD drive is reading or writing. Someone at - it an idea before I go make return to the workshop for repair (maye a new driver/bios?)

Thank you
John

Hello

Hmm. Pensiez_ you that the HARD disk emits the sound treble?
That s wired because it would mean something would be well wrung out with HARD drive and this means that you should backup your data if you have important files on the HARD drive. In the worst cases could die your HARD drive and you will lose all data on the HARD drive

  • Satellite A350-13D - brightness slider suddenly disappeared

    Hello

I got a toshiba satellite a350-13d, with windows 7, installed long ago worked perfectly out of the FN keys work. However it was not my problem, that I could change the brightness of the screen with the cursor provided by windows...

But... All of a sudden, my brightness slider is over. I had not installed the new drivers, windows stopped showing me the ability to change the brightness of the screen (by clicking on the battery status icon in the traybar what he used to say 'change the brightness of the screen', and if I click on 'other options', he went too). Does anyone have a solution for this?

I have already installed all the drivers from the toshiba site, so this isn't the problem.

    Thank you

    Hello

Strange may this problem s registry or something like that

You can change the brightness of the screen here:

Panel of-> all items in Control Panel-> display-> brightness control (left)

Otherwise, you might try to get the FN buttons work.
To do this, you must earn 7 Vientiane (value package) and utility Toshiba Flash Cards for Win 7.

I found the Toshiba Flash Cards for Win 7 utility on the European driver Toshiba page areas to download Satellite L500

  • Can satellite A350-13D - I install Vista 64-bit?

    Hello
(sorry, I can't speak English very well, sorry if I write to you with its imperfections)

3 days ago, I bought a Toshiba Satellite A350-13D. It has 4 GB of RAM, but Windows Vista Home Premium 32 Bit is installed. The computer can use only 3 GB.

I can't install Vista Home Premium 64-Bit to use all of the RAM (4 GB)? Where can I download the driver for my computer?

    Thanks for your help :)
    Good day

    Hello!

Of course, you can install Windows Vista 64 bit, why not? What do you think?

On the Toshiba site I can find all the drivers for Vista 64 bit on Satellite A350 so it should all work properly with Vista 64. Check yourself:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online decision-making supported Downloads & => Download drivers

But note there are two different BIOS versions One available for 32-bit and one for 64-bit. After installation of Vista 64-bit, you must refresh the BIOS too.

    Good bye

  • No way to disable the touchpad on the Satellite A350 - 208 (PSAL6E)

I have an A350-208 (PSAL6E) with windows 7 Pro 64 bit NL. I have a Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 installed Bluetooth mouse. It works very well. But every time I work on my laptop I seem to touch my touchpad by accident, or pressure on the keyboard and then my cursor is going to suddenly somewhere else in senctence en I'm typing complete garbage. It's something that I had resolved in XP by disabling the touchpad. But now, on windows 7 there is no tot so possebillity.

Please can someone help me to disable the touchpad?

Type this little piece of text takes me a lot longer while my cursor place whenever I type to another location in the words.

Win7 works perfectly on this laptop model, and if you have installed all the controls, including utility flash cards you should be able to disable the touch pad using the FN + F9 key combination.
    Can you do this?

  • Satellite A350 - 208 (PSAL6E) - where can I find drivers for XP?

    Hello

I bought my laptop about 1 month ago, and it is already slow. I think that my laptop is slow, because I have Windows Vista Home premium.

I don't like Vista at all, so I tried to format my HARD drive and put windows XP SP3 on it.
But the problem is, I can't find drivers for Windows XP, only the drivers for Windows Vista. How can I solve this?

And is it possible to install Windows XP on my laptop? I think that there is an extra partition on my HARD drive with Vista on it stuff.

    Hello

I'm a little confused right now because you wrote that you have installed Windows XP, and then you want to know if you can install it m.

In any case, the Satellite A350 doesn t supports Windows XP. On the Toshiba site you can get Windows Vista drivers for it.
What you can do is look on external websites for drivers, or try you the drivers XP of the Satellite A300, which is similar to yours.

That's all you can do. Windows XP is the past, now it s time for Vista or Windows 7.

    Good bye

  • Satellite A350 - 110 PSAL6E disappearing after every reboot Win7 card reader

Well, the title says it all.

As far as I know, that this model has a JMicron card reader - Windows Update installs its own drivers for it.
    I tried the drivers of * [HERE | http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_driver_details.jsp?service=EU&selCategory = 2 & selFamily = 2 & selSeries = 153 & selProduct = 819 selSho 789 = rtMod & language = 13 & selOS = 29 & selType = 316 & yearupl = DST & monthupload = & dayupload = & useDate = null & mode = all Machines & search = & action = search & macId = & country = all & selectedLanguage = 13 & type = 316 & page = 1 & ID = 69749 & DISO = 29 & driverLanguage = 42] *.

The thing is: I install the drivers and perform a restart. After that, the card reader works perfectly. However, if I do another reboot it disappears and I have to install and reboot again.

Am I missing some other bits of software reviews? For anything else, I used the Toshiba Software Installer.

    Hello

You have not missed anything guy card reader controller driver is the only driver that controls the card reader.

I think that it of not a problem with the driver, but with the Windows operating system. I don't know if the update of Windows messed with something, but usually the update from Microsoft should not affect functionality of Mr. card reader that's why its odd to me that the driver does not work after restarting.

However, maybe you must first uninstall the card reader driver. This in Device Manager.
Mark the card reader and uninstall the driver. Reboot the laptop.
Then clean the operating system using CCleaner (freeware tool can be downloaded from different pages).

After the cleaning, restart the device and install the driver through the Device Manager. Reboot and test functionality.

    Good luck

  • How to activate the BT on Satellite A350?

How can I get the bluetooth to operate?

The Panel has the icon, but when I try to turn it on, nothing happens.

    Satellite A350 (PSAL6A - 016 07H) with Vista

The exact specification of your laptop is not known to me and I can't say with certainty whether or not your machine has BT module. When you use BT, you must activate the WLAN switch and use the FN + F8 key combination to activate the BT module.

How it looks like you can see on http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/HTD9402KQ0000R02.htm

You can activate BT on this way?

  • Can not find the latest drivers for Satellite A350 laptop

    Hello world

I have a Toshiba Satellite A350-20 q Model No.: PSAL6E-05GO18EN, which was originally installed with Windows Vista but now I installed Windows 7 Ult Ed. However, some of my drivers/software specific Toshiba have been removed. For example, FN + F9, which is used to turn on and off my mouse pad does not work. On the Web site

I found some drivers, but I can't seem to find any keyboard drivers. Some of my keys FN + Fxx work like FN + F6, which obscures the light downwards but not F9, can someone tell me why some of my F9 key do not work, but some others don't? Is this a driver problem?

    Thank you

In General, if you can't find some of the Win7 Installer drivers Vista drivers.

    Have you already tried that?

  • Satellite A350 - 13 B (20 x) and installing Linux

    Hi all

    I write about it because I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite A350 - 13 B (20 X) MODEL PSAL6E Mr. everything is perfect, but I have a big problem.
When I m trying to install Linux black screen appeared. Standard system is Windows Vista Home Premium but I don't want the windows system. When I bought this laptop, the seller assured me that he n t be a problem in the installation of Linux, but it turns out that it is

I tried to install the newest BIOS, but it seems pointless too. Please help :(

    Hi mielon
This is NOT a bios problem!
only a bit of configuration problem because linux has problems to load the correct module.
    easy to solve:
-If you use knoppix for exaple use the comandline tweak "fb1024x768" to force linux NOT to probe your grafics
-Once linux is installed correctly it starts once
-After that, you are able to install the grafics if there is a module for this card or manually choose
-Make sure that you choose the refresh rate of 60 Hz, otherwise damage your LCD

BTW: What distro do you use?

  • Satellite A350 and Win7 64 bit installation

My Satellite A350 (PSAL6A) after only 6 months has crashed with a fatal hard drive.

I ve decided to drive that can reach up to the hard to something a bit faster (5400 RPM) and finally get rid of the dreaded Vista.
I m upgrade to Win 7 (64) but I m somewhat suspicious of some of the web sites offering Toshiba drivers
Y at - there a site where I can download all the drivers I need just to Win 7 and not need to sort the hundreds of others who seem to be available.

    Your question confused me completely.
I'm using the Toshiba years download page and find the right drivers is pretty easy. Choose the right portable model and operating system you want and you will have the complete list of all available drivers.
Why is it so hard for you.

Have you tried the serial number or the automatic detection on http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/generic/SUPPORT_PORTAL/?

  • Re: Battery discharge by itself - Satellite A350

I've got Toschiba Satellite A350 PSAL6E and Vista 32 bit Home Premium. The release of the battery itself for 10% by night (after 24 hours). I checked the Wake On LAN in the BIOS option and disabled (in Windows). And what is happening all the time.

Laptop has only a few months so is this normal? What I need to use warranty repair?

This behavior is nothing unusual, and I noticed on my Satellite A300. The last time I checked it battery lost 7% of its power during the night. You can contact the closest service and ask why this is happening, but you will see that they will confirm that it is normal and only occur not only on your laptop model.

    Don't worry about this.
