  Hi, I have a Satellite A350 under Vista 64

  I have a problem with my wireless light and functional (next to the power switch) doesn't turn only not on, even if the switch is on. I had this happen repeatedly and it easily fixed with FN + F8.   I bought a Satellite A350-20s last weekend. Everything else seems good but I am struggling to connect wirelessly. It has Vista Home Premium.

  I have a Thompson TG585 v7 wireless router. My Lenovo T61 (WinXP SP2) can connect wirelessly with no problems however.

  When I am connected to the router via ethernet cable my Toshiba will connect to the internet fine. And when I'm sitting right next to my wireless router my Toshiba can connect wireless fine. But by the time I stray a little (even just 5 meteres!), it loses the connection.

  I didn't put a single software on my laptop, but since I bought it.

  It's very frustrating and any help would be really appreciated.

  I guess you're Windows Vista so you should Devil WLAN energy saving function. This can affect the WLAN functionality and so it should be disabled. You can find it on the Vista power management.

  I have a Satellite A350 running Windows 7 Professional 32 bit version.

  My wireless does not work. I just updated the driver and it changed the symbol of the connection to the network to connect to the local network bar wireless with a cross through it. I know that the wireless works in my house because I m using my iphone to write this now, I system restored it I have not decicied to wipe and reinstall windows it's about 1.5 years.

  The laptop is overheated and once do not know if that will cause the solder on components to melt if possible how to see if this has happened to myself. I don t want to waste money to take it to a tech when I could do it. Please help its annoying quite just going in circles

  According to the specifications of the laptop this model has 3G and comes with Windows Vista 32 bit.
  I believe you that you have used the 3G with original OS because it contains Ericsson 3 G driver and Toshiba 3 G RF Control Utility.

  Former Satellite A350 was delivered origin with Vista OS, so at first I would like to know if you use original recovery image (OS) that you got with your laptop.

  I have Satellite A300 and a friend of my A350 but WLAn works properly on both machines so I m a bit confused why the WLAN option is missing when you use the FN + F8 key combination.
  I m wondering why WLAN is detected by the system but ignored by the utility of flash cards.

  Enter the BIOS and set it to default settings
  Reseat the wireless network card.
  Reinstall the extra value package, and check again.

  If the problem persists after doing all this, you have to do a final check and reinstall the OS using original recovery image that you got with your laptop. It's a way more radical, but certainly more efficient to solve a software problem.

  I installed Windows 7 64 on my laptop Toshiba A350 - 13 c.
  During installation, I used the USB mouse. After installation I noticed that the touchpad is not working. I have downloaded the driver Synaptics for W7 toshiba download site, but it did not help. The indicates even me that synaptics tray agent. However, when I click on its icon - > Accessories-> graph of pressure (or similar name - I translated it in my lang), it returns an error message: Sorry, this program requires Synaptics TouchPad device and Synaptics pointing driver. What is going on?

  I also downloaded Toshiba Value added for W7 and installed Package. HoweverPower Saver does not work (I reinstalled PVAT but he fixed nothing). On the start menu, there is no shortcut to ch, as there are shortcuts to other applications of added value package.
