  You can replace the HARD drive with more capacity and RAM module. This notebook can handle with max 1 GB of RAM. Two memory locations are available. Compatible modules are:
  PC2700 512 MB (PA3312U - 1 M 51)
  1024MO PC2700 (PA3313U-1M1G)

  I'm not 100% sure but I believe you can also swap ODD (optical disc drive) with best. Check it please users manuals. No doubt you will find a list of all compatible ratings.

  Can Hi anyone tell me what kind of graphics card do I have?

  It says ATI Radeo HD2400, but these drivers does not when I download the WXP Catalyst of ATI drivers.
  So it must be several, a chipset, etc. I have PC Wizard, but tells me not much.

  I downloaded the drivers in this thread of Rapidshare user and they don't work as well. Any help appreciated.

  There you should find the drivers, otherwise you must wait because XP support is a bit... When you know what I mean.

  With regard to the realtek driver: these attempt it since a Satellite A200. But I can't guarantee that they work. But first uninstall previous drivers and make sure that all drivers chipset/tools are installed.

• Polish letters on satellite A50 with WinXP Pro EN - any help?

  I have the satellite A50-106 with Winindows XP Pro English version with Polish programmers keyboard installed. To acquire the Polish diacritical marks that I have to use the Alt Gr key - and using this key with the corresponding Latin letter Polish give letter (example: [Alt Gr] + - gives?). It's ok for all the Polish letters except the poles? ([Alt Gr] + l) I have this specific case, I have to press three keys [Alt Gr] + [Alt] + l. It's really annoying to remenber this extra [Alt] key. Could someone help me with this? Is there a solution to operate the properely?

  Sorry, but in my opinion it is a specific problem and you should seek response by producer of keyboard Polish programmer s. It is not a part of the delivered OS and if you have any additional software installed, you need to seek support of the producer of the specific applications.

  I bought a few months ago by Satellite A50 - 106 (model No. PSA50E-07202VPL). As I was told, by the dealer, he must have integrated wireless LAN card. The same info I found on the Web at Toshiba Europe site. Unfortunately that I can't find. I found that there is a LAN switch wireless power button just under the pcmcia card slot. But there is nothing there...

  Could you tell if what info is true, is there more then one model A50-106, how can I do this wifi work?

  As much as I know this unit has no wireless card. The best way is to check whether, on the low side is a label of the wireless card. Each unit with wireless card has a label. I also found a single provider (Poland) that sells this device and in wireless are not not in the specifications.

  I have a Satellite A50. I need to restore to factory default to recover DVD, how do I boot from the DVD?

  The default boot priority is the HARD drive and is more bootable has been formatted. My BIOS is password protected, how can I change the boot priority? After having inserted the password, its always boot from the HARD drive.

  The boot priority, that you can change in the BIOS.
  Go into the BIOS with ESC, enter your password and then you can change it.
  But don t forget to save the changes.

  That s all and then you can boot from the CD.

  Hello everyone im happy old owner of 2 hour nine Toshiba Satellite P200D 106 with the configuration put fallow:

  Mobile AMD Turion 64 X 2
  Processor model: TL-52
  FSB (MHz): 800
  RAM: 512 + 512 MB Type: DDR2 at 667 MHz

  Now since I have vista on it I want to upgade 2 GB or 1 GB Ram is too little and I need recommendation on what type or Ram would be compatible with this config

  I recommend get you the 2 GB RAM module with the PA3513U part number. Use this module with 512 MB, you already have and with 2.5 GB laptop should work very well.
  Kingston modules are very good and it's really high-quality product. If you can't find compatible on Kingston page you can order. But as I've written before of maybe you should buy 2 GB and have better performance.

  Compare prices and do what you have to buy the decision.

  What about bag backpack? Check the specs and if it is designed for 17 laptops you can buy it. Sorry, but for me this issue is enough... excessive. :)

  I have re-installed Windows XP on a laptop satellite but am struggling to find drivers for it, I'm missing, video driver, network card, ethernet controller, audio drivers.

  The sticker on the bottom of the laptop read SA50-542 like model number and yet I can't find any drivers or any mention on the site Web of Toshiba of this model.

  I downloaded the drivers, but none does, without know excatly what drivers model I need, it is very difficult.
