It seems that this is caused by a driver and you need to update all the. Please begin with the first card reader driver.
Everything you download from the Toshiba site.

  • Satellite A500 - 18 X - blue screen with error jmcr.sys

    Hi all

I have the Toshiba Satellite A500 - 18 X. I get several errors with a blue screen that is associated with a file called jmcr.sys, I used the recovery process, but the problem persists.

Can someone tell me what could be the problem? Is it a virus, a hardware malfunction or some drivers not up-to-date?

    Thank you

    Hello

If you have already used the recovery disk Toshiba it appears to be a malfunction of the equipment. I don't see a reason for a software problem, because the Toshiba Recovery disk restore factory settings and these settings are pre-tested by Toshiba

So most blue screens are related to defective RAM modules. You can test them using Memtest86. It is a diagnostic tool where you can download an iso image for creating a startup disk.

Where you bought your laptop? What is the country of purchase?
    New Zealand, perhaps?
Please visit http://www.toshiba.com.au/ > New Zealand and you should find your model of laptop there but I can see the Win7 drivers are not available for the moment.

Next week, I'll get my Satellite A500 and I'll test with Call of Duty 4 and let you know how it works.
In any case before starting the game stop all unnecessary running process and define the plan of power at full power. Make sure also your laptop can catch its breath and cooling fans are not blocked somehow. Replace also side of your notebook computer on two CD boxes having a greater distance between the laptop and the desktop.

I hope that everything will be working well.

  • Satellite A500-138 - battery gets smaller when it is off

    Hello!

I recently bought the A500-138 and I noticed that if the computer turns off for more than half a day the battery power is lower.
For example, after 2 days when the computer does not work at all the battery starts to 88%.

It it normal or there is a problem with the battery?

    Thank you.

    Hello!

I n t have any new Satellite A500, but on my Satellite A300, I got the same problem battery gets low when it was off.

After searching a bit here in the forum, I founded that I disable the Wake-On-LAN feature in the BIOS. In addition, I recommend disabling the function USB Sleep & Charge you can find also in the BIOS.

  • Satellite A500-148 turns on but does not start

Hi all, I have a Satellite A500-148 from a friend who asked me to take a peek, it turns on, but does boot when I press the following power button occurs:
-The power button and the charger are on and the hdd led only flashes once
-The fan comes on for about 3 seconds
-No image on the screen, I indicated a light against it, but there is really no image

Tried to reset by pressing the button for 30 seconds without the changer is plugged.

I disassembled it and noticed that this laptop has an external video card, so my question is, who's broken the video card or the motherboard.

    Thank you

To be honest I don't understand this with an external video card. Can you describe how you mean exactly?
In any case, on this virtual path, it is not easy to offer the exact diagnosis. You can try the little test and remove this external adapter, RAM and HARD disk, and try to start again.

Ask your friend if he had something that may be responsible for this.

One last thing: laptop stays in r might have turned off after a certain time?

  • I'm getting error .exe - image incorrect when I start the computer and click on anything

I keep on getting error bad .exe continuous Image on my Windows XP machine. Help, please

    Hi leondsouza,

    1. What is the exact error message that you receive?

    2. did you of recent changes on the computer?

    3. do you have security software installed on the computer?

It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista or Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

See the link below to learn more about how to clean boot.

How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/310353

Reset the computer to start as usual

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    (a) click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.

    (b) If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

    (c) under the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.

    (d) when you are prompted to restart the computer, click on restart.

  • Satellite A350: Error Messages at startup when start Toshiba Console

We just bought a new A350. I installed Comodo during a Windows Update.
    Cannot complete installation of Comodo, but makes the update of Windows. We were initially three problems;

1 loses internet connectivity, but not LAN. This has been resolved by installing the Comodo.
2 getting started the following message appears "Cannot find file C:\Program Toshiba Toshiba Console\TOSHealthLocalS.vbs management script"
    3. when I run Toshiba Management Console, the following message box shows:

    C:\Program Toshiba Toshiba Console\TOSMgmt.exe management
The specified path does not exist.

Check the path and then try again

I checked the path and this component does not seem to be responsible.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

    Hello

It looks like the software Toshiba Console does not work properly due to instillation of the Comodo
I put t know exactly what is happening, but I think something was confusing to the top

I think that the Toshiba Console should be installed again but to be honest I didn t find on the European driver Toshiba page!

Maybe you can stitch to the BONE at the beginning of time before you have installed the Comodo this should also help you

  • Satellite A500-1GL - battery goes down when it is turned off

Is it normal for the battery to run down, even when the laptop is turned off?

I had the laptop a month now and notice that when I have a fully charged battery when I turn off, down to almost 90% in 1 day when I turn it on back.
Its worse still when I leave it a few days.
Is this normal - I would have expected the battery to keep better workload.

    Hi RICKOSHAY.

It of a perfectly normal behavior that the battery is run down while the laptop is turned off. For example, I lose 3-4% battery all night.

10% during the night is a bit too high, so you have to disable in the BIOS options posted by Akuma. I did the same thing on my laptop and it improves the fully charged battery. :)

  • Re: Satellite M60 - error of bad computer at the start of product recovery CD

I have a portable Satellite M60 which I formatted in 2007. At this time, I used a recovery CD product I bought from Tosiba Australia.
Now I want to format my HARD drive using the same CD, but this time when I boot on the CD, I get an error of 'Machine' wrongly
I guess that information on my HARD drive was corrupted which causes the utility to fail.

Can someone give me some ideas on how to overcome this problem?

    > I have a laptop of Satellite M60 which I formatted in 2007. At this time, I used a recovery CD product I bought the Toshiba Australia.
Sorry Richard, but one thing is confusing to me. Currently, every Toshiba laptop has been delivered with disk recovery facilities and is in the box with the new model laptop. I don't know where do you live and where you bought your laptop model but I do not understand your laptop is an Australian model for computer laptop and you bought the CD of restoration in the country of purchase.

Discs of recovery facilities to specific disks created for some models of laptops. Before the facilities specific info on recovery disk is compared with the data saved on the laptop and only if the info corresponds to recovery procedure will continue. This means that you cannot use the recovery of another model of laptop and install it on your Satellite model.
These data are not saved on the HARD drive and HARD drive is not meaningful for this control of data.

Usually when the laptop is fixed and swapped the motherboard technician must rewrite the data of good information. Sometimes it will be forgotten and a recovery facility ends with wrong machine error.

The question is: has your laptop repaired in the past?

    Concerning

You can provide the IP address instead of the host name "localhost" and check

Confirm also that IP also available on file/etc/hosts

also share the output of command below

ps - ef | grep lsnr

If several found lsnr then you can kill the lsnr and start the listener and check status lsnrctl.

  • C310a - I can't stop all the HP error message pop up when I start my computer

Lately and since the fitting (authentic replacement) cartridges, the error messages - jam paper, cartridge problem paper loading, insist on popping up over and over again, even if I click on the relevant Red Cross to close.

I tried the * beep * and on this forum for a solution.  I found the one nearest asked that the printer had to be checked for stray pieces of paper or other debris which would cause these messages to appear.  Apparently, they are all related to this type of error.

I checked the printer including the duplex unit, but found no debris, lint or other debris.  I have downloaded and run the Diagnostic tool but still once, found nothing untoward.

I'm happy the printer works fine, (it prints, copies and scans perfectly fine).

I have to reset anything?  If so, how?  Or can someone tell me what I may need to do to solve the problem?

    Thank you very much

Alright. I think it's safe to say that it is a software issue and not a hardware problem. So reinstall software has to deal with the problem.

Click Start Menu > all programs > HP > HP Photosmart C310 Seris > uninstall to uninstall the software. Download the latest software and drivers for your printer using the link below, then run it to install the software again. This should solve the problem.
