  According to laptop specification your model laptop doesn t have BT and these updates is not necessary.

  A question: is BT software stack installed on your laptop? Check in Control Panel > programs and features. If yes remove the system.

• Satellite C660 - 11K DVD drive does not

  I was just become acquainted with my new laptop Satellite C660 - 11K that I bought for Christmas and came to try playing a DVD for the first time tonight.

  The first one I tried was a business produced in format DVD RW DVD. When I inserted in the DVD player, I got a "Windows Media Player has encountered a problem during playback of the file" error message. Following the troubleshooting guide to check my sound, video settings and game controllers do not solve the problem.

  I then tried a purchased movie DVD (DVD-video format) and received the same error message.

  Finally, I have inserted an audio CD purchased and tried to play it through Windows Media Player and iTunes, but could not play all titles. The Gracenote software did, however, identify the CD and track names.

  By Device Manager, I found that my DVD drive is a TSSTcorp CDDVDW TS-L633C and that it is enabled, the value of region 2 DVD and it has drivers up to date.

  Am I missing something stupid that prevents me to get my DVD player to work, or do I have a defective DVD player?

  Any help or ideas greatly appreciated.

  Perhaps you need a firmware update for the CD/DVD drive.

  This is my first post here and I'm having a problem with my screen. On a white screen like this page I have a pink pixelated background makes it very difficult to do anything.
  On other colors of background, there is the same problem just (wrong) colors.
  When I quit my screen looks perfect for a second or two before turning off. Also if I use the external monitor via the pc port it works perfectly.

  My laptop is a Satellite C660 - 11K and 3 or 4 years.
  Is this the end? Thanks in advance for any advice.

  It is not easy to say why this is happening. If the captain on the external monitor is OK, it is evidence that this graphics card must be OK. The LCD screen is probably the troublemaker.

  How it looks like when you enter the BIOS settings. All appear correctly?
  What happens when you start your computer in safe mode?
  What you can do as the ultimate test is to install the original recovery image and test with "presets".

  Recently purchased by Satellite C660 11 K and load a game on it, after a few hours it froze (ctrl alt del wouldn't work) I stopped and he started up and I got a message saying some software or hardware was the stoppage of work Windows.

  Satellite C660 is not equipped with Bluetooth, but you can use an external USB dongle to Add Bluetooth functionality. These external USB dongles, you can get to 10 to 20 euros and should be available in every store of the computer. :)

  Just bought a Toshiba Satellite C660 and went through the installation process and everything seemed simple and easy. However, this changed when I tried to use the laptop wireless. As long as I fed it with the AC adapter, all right. When I remove the adapter I lose the internet connection for about 3-5 minutes before it reconnects for about 1 min. Then, he constantly repeats the cycle.

  I have a strong signal that shows as "Connected" to my wireless network in the network and sharing Center, but get the message "no internet access. I have another laptop and PS3 connected to my network wireless without any problem. I disabled them both where they do not interfere with the signal, but that made no difference. Therefore, I am sure that's not the router, the modem, or the wireless signal.

  I checked to see if my WLAN adapter needs an update to the driver, but it shows that I have already installed the latest drivers. I tried to change the power settings for the adapter wireless of "Maximum Performance" all this without success.

  In addition, it works fine on battery if plugged directly on the wireless router.

  Can anyone offer advice on how to fix it, before I return it to the store?

  You must install the driver from Toshiba for Windows 10 system.
  However the C660 does not seem to be in the supported list, you may need to go into BIOS instead.

  Hold SHIFT key during shutdown to shut down Windows hybrid suspension mode. Keep now SHIFT until the power goes out.
  The BIOS F2 message appears only if the laptop is a cold start.

  The current driver available on the main site is severely outdated, and I now have two programs that crash at the start because of problems with the driver aticfx32.dll library.

  This is a known issue with some drivers from intel and was set with those newer, but that the laptop uses a custom driver configuration, I can't use the generic drivers.

  We could get an updated driver, or a workaround for the error.

  Can publish newspapers of errors for both programs if necessary.

  Try to install the driver through the Device Manager.
  I did too and it worked I have forced windows choose my Intel driver that I downloaded from the Intel page, I selected the Advanced installation procedure and report the driver files, stored on the HARD drive.

  I'm really confused as to what to do. Internet days might work for a while and then all of a sudden the exclamation point appears there and I can't get working again.
