Hey Buddy,

Do you mean the Config Free? You can download it from the official website of Toshiba:
http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download drivers

If you have the error code 10 on LAN card, it seems that the driver isn't installed so. You can find it on the Web from Toshiba site too.

Very interesting article. I found the support page for your model of laptop and when I click on drivers and choose WXP operating system almost nothing is listed.

This model of laptop is not supported for WXP and configuration of Windows XP complete home edition will be very problematic.

    I have two satellite C660-28V.

Problem is that I lose the internet connection on a frequent basis. I have to reset the modem for internet connection back once again. This problem I have with these two laptops from Toshiba.

I also own another laptop (Dell) and a local network connected PC: no problem with these.

Have you noticed this problem with the modem connection only?

  • Satellite Pro L550 - Realtek RTL8191SE Wlan connection issues

    Hello

Affected by a big problem with my WLAN connection which is ongoing for about a month.
I have problems with a very inconsistent connection.

To start, turn on the laptop of its climate 50-50 I'll successfully connect to my internet. Once connected I constantly disconnect and reconnect, never reached a point of stability, as long as possible without hitch is about 30 minutes, and after this point it will repeat the process above in one or two minutes, making it impossible internet usage.

After following various checks, I can confirm that this is NOT a router problem:

-Several other devices around the home connect without the same problem
-Have you tried the reset and restarted both modem and router without result
-Used new Ethernet cables and checked the other son of bends or damage
-Tried to change the frequency of router and the channel for better connectivity with no result
-Tried to change the location of the router, the closest pass to the laptop for a greater power of the signal without any positive results

Whenever he logs off, I go through a laborious task repetitive troubleshooting and although sometimes it solves the problem, so that it does only temporarily.

Updates on computer and controls are as follows:

-Install the latest drivers for my network card
-The latest version of the BIOS for my laptop
-J' tried UN-installing software and remove driver in Device Manager in the case of a corrupted driver, after re-booting works temporarily and then breaks down in the first 5 minutes
-Tried using windows troubleshooting, which sometimes displays a message on my gateway by default, I don't know what that means well as
-Tried to use other means of verification, connectivity doctor etc., no results
    -Tried to reset network cards
-Tried to use an earlier version of the network card to check if the new drivers were the problem - no result
-Tried resetting IP addresses IP conflict with other devices in the House, no results
    -Played hundreds of reboots

I would like to point out that when using the LAN on my laptop my connection is quite well and I have the experience without interruption, I have also contacted my ISP to ask if there is ongoing network maintenance tasks and check if the internet I receive is consistent.

    Computer laptop specifications: -.

    Toshiba Satellite Pro L550
    Network card: Realtek RTL8191SE
    OS: Windows 7 x32bit

The whole process is infuriating and I am at my wits end as to what to do, is, fuck my network card?

    NB:

This could be a problem as the dust inside my computer laptop on the map, causing interference?
The problem is much more prolific when I use Skype - might be a bandwidth issue?

Open to the suggestions of many, and any help will be appreciated.

    Thank you.

And all this occur with clean Windows 7 preinstalled that you got with your laptop (factory settings)?

  • Satellite C600/C660D - problems with WLAN connectivity

    Hi guys

I recently bought a Toshiba Satellite C660/C660D laptop to replace my old. I set up a wireless connection at home too. According to my laptop and wireless connection that I am connected but when I go to use internet and try to search for something it won't let me. I ran the troubleshooting and Diagnostics over and over again and the message I get is "your computer seems to be correctly configured but the device or resource is unresponsive."

It is not a problem with the internet connection that I tried to plug in on my old Toshiba laptop and it works perfectly well and my sister tried it also on his Sony laptop and no connection problems.

Is there a setting that needs to be adjusted?
I would be very grateful for any assistance with this and as I don't know what else to do. its starting to get a bit frustrating now

    Thank you

    It's very strange.
Have you noticed the same thing using different browsers?
You can use any other application like Skype or MSN?

What you can try is to update WLAN driver.

Please visit Toshiba s WLAN portal and install the latest driver for your WLAN card - http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/

  • Satellite A110-378 loses the WLan connection during downloads of big

    Hi all
I have a Toshiba Satellite A110-378 series and a wireless network problem. The card is an Intel 3945abg. I can connect with the router ADSL (USR9106) with WPA security is enabled. I can navigate on the Internet, but for a large download (or shall file a copy) the connection stop responding. Windows still displays the connection, but after a few minutes I got an error message.

To re - establish it, I need to 'fix' the connection. The driver is the latest in Intel, and I tried to disable the power settings. Seems that the problem is the same with my ethernet card (I'm the check).

    Any ideas?
    Thank you very much.
    Alessandro

    Hi Alex

In my opinion, there is always possibility of losing the motivations and download WLAN connectivity more I prefer the LAN connection (sometimes runs during the night). Check this with connection to the local network, but perhaps is another side responsible for the interruption of the download.

The mouse on my Satellite C660 is driving me crazy. As well as the functions I put t use, it hangs for seconds every time after passing on. I got to plug a USB mouse, which seems to stabilize on a Clipboard as well.

Is there a driver I can download to replace one installed and return to traditional mouse operation?

  • Zbook 15 G2: Zbook 15 G2 - which required software for the connection of fingerprints on Windows 7-64 bit (company)

The problem is quite simple, but the answer seems to be quite elusive.

I have a new Zbook 15 G2.  It is a work laptop and they apply a standard image using Windows 7 Enterprise.  Unfortunately, it does not all support for the fingerprint readers by default.  I have admin access so I am allowed to load the appropriate drivers/software

But I can't seem to find the correct drivers.  When I search by serial number I get the driver of fingerprints of validity, but it doesn't seem to be a specific software for the use of the connection for Windows 7.  I had several years ago, under the old HP of ProtectTools.  Now, I also see references to Client Security Manager and SimplePass (the latter being the most recent according to a table).  I installed SimplePass but he doesn't seem to see the fingerprint reader (or it is not optional).  Device Manager shows the fingerprint under Biomentrics reader and shows it works normally.

Can someone clarify the situation exactly WHAT must be loaded on the assumption of a new installation of Windows 7?  I can take it from there I think, but without a list looks a bit like a crap-shoot to get the right software installed in order to support.

    Thanks in advance!

    Jerry

    Hello:

It has always been my experience that workstations and laptops professional use security software to protect the tools which has now been replaced by the customer Security Manager software on the newer models like yours.

Consumer class specifications use the security software simple past.

So, if you have installed the validity fingerprint driver, my recommendation would be to install the last client security manager software to register your fingerprint.

    Hello!

The toolbar on the top which view control the FN keys is called value added package. You can download the Toshiba site:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online decision-making supported Downloads & => Download drivers

At the present time, you will only find the version for Vista, but maybe it works also on Windows 7. Just test it and post your result. I think that it is interesting for other users.

    Model M50-216

I can connect to my hub without problem, and by comparison, I have another laptop (dell) that never the eperiences problems I get with the satellite. Here's what's happening.

I connect without a problem, then it can very well work for 5 minutes or an hour, then it disconnects, I still see the network and it will be happliiy again. I tried my friend with a different router and the problem persists, then it is not a router problem.

Have you tried to update the driver WLan and the BIOS?
In many cases, it is the key to solve this WLan dropping issues.

  • Satellite T110-11U looking for WLAN Driver

    Hi all

In the traditional way, I joined the forum because I have a problem, but was unable to find a useful solution.

I have a Satellite T110-11U I bought years while in the United Kingdom. As I'm about to upgrade I'm about to give to a friend who is currently irrelevant.

The original HHD gave a time there is forcing to adapt again and load Win7 64 bit independently. I want to say I have to reload discs, but they never work!

I loaded all the latest drivers, but the WIFI driver does not work. From Toshiba Web site says I need a driver for Intel (wlesslan-20150928095045), but I'm sure it's a realtech interface.

I connected the laptop to the internet via the LAN interface and did a search in the Device Manager. Nothing. Still shows the "other devices".

Can anyone share a link to the driver that I need or offer any practice, but not too much technical advice as to what I can do.

    Thank you

    Ady

    Ok

  • Satellite A660-18 - Solution for WLAN switch disabled people

I finally solved this annoying problem, my laptop is a Satellite A660-18

Out of the box it just wouldn't connect to the wireless network. With the combination of keys Fn + F8 of the report: "Wireless communitcation is disabled, please enable the wireless communication switch.

Of course there is no such switch, just the FN + F8 key combination. After having tried various forums and technical support, I solved the problem myself.

    The solution is:
Go to the folder on your c drive "program files\Toshiba\TBS. Then scroll down the list of program files and double-click the file named TBSWireless.exe and hey presto, wireless communication goes on (Amber Light lights on the lower right front of the computer). Now the combination of FN + F8 key it will turn on and.

    Bye to all

    Absolutely great job, Fin_1!

Thanks for this solution, but I have to say that I didn't notice this problem on my Satellite A660 but it might be useful for other owners A660 :)

  • Satellite C660-10F - need for Windows XP 32 bit LAN driver

    Hello
I want to my hard drive of the C660-10F to a storage network using Ghost 15 recovery disk backup CD. So I have to configure the recovery disk bootable CD with the driver LAN C660-10F for XP 32 bit to get access to the network at the start of this CD. When I use the file lan - en - 20101105155404.zip with XP drivers from the Toshiba download page I get the error message

Impossible to copy a device driver 64-bit hardware for a DTH of 32-bit image. One or more binary files listed in... does not match the target DTH platform

It seems that XP drivers contain partially 64-bit files. Same problem when using the original drivers Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller! Where I can I get running 32 - bit XP drivers for the LAN of the C660-10F controller?

    Thank you
    Franz

    Hi lagraf,

All Windows XP drivers on the Toshiba Web site are for XP 32 bit version for 64-bit was never supported.

What you can do to test the Realtek drivers directly:

If it doesn t work I think you must communicate directly with the external HARD disk. Most NAS devices also have the USB port.
