Satellite C70D-B - 30 d: how to access back after ~ 16 removed screws

Would be grateful for any advice to remove the rear panel.

I removed the battery, ~ 16 live + 1 small screw on the optical drive and while he "uncheck" everywhere else, there seems to be something stopping the Panel being removed just above the compartment to batteries and does not want to force it.

Even our guy from the IT to work cannot get out.

Please HELP... my new laptop is very slow so have bought RAM but can't access the rear.

At first, I must say that you should not remove only the lower lid because it will void the warranty. If there is no cover-RAM, RAM should be exchanged or maintained by authorized personnel only.

I know that each of us think it is easy to do and want to do this alone.
What I know, is follow:
2 screw in the Middle set the keyboard. What needs to be removed are 14 screws and small flat screw on the optical drive. That's all. There is no other hidden screws.

Of course there is also a small-scale plastic and lower cover must be removed very gently.

  • Re: Satellite Pro L450D - 12 X - how to access the recovery partition?

    Hello

I've formatted Windows 7 with a Windows XP CD but did not setup. I wanted to know how to access the recovery partition to set it by default, everything exists on the laptop right now is Ubuntu, but I don't know, I saw an additional partition that must contain recovery files as laptop did not come with a recovery disk and unfortunately did not create a filter.

How can I access the recovery partition on the laptop having in mind, I formatted the drive Windows 7 was installed on or should I activate or something like that?

    Any help much appreciated

    Hey,.

On the second partition of your laptop (data partition), you will find a folder named HDDrecovery and it contains recovery files. The problem is that you can use the HARD drive only with the pre-installed operating system recovery feature. It would mean in your case it s too late now and it s not in use anymore.

You have created the Toshiba recovery disc as mentioned in the user manual? If Yes, you can use this disk to restore to factory settings. Just boot from this CD and follow the instructions on the screen.

If you don t have the recovery disc, you can order it here:

  • Satellite C70D - A - 11 d function key turn off after use

    Hi all

I have a Satellite C70D-A - 11 d... When I use once key FN to do a print screen or use the Zoom screen on the space key...

I am not able to use the 1 to 4 Keynumbers or space to enter a space between two words... it always changes between the larger screen solution or the normal solution...

I can only change the FN key after changing the settings in the settings of display and after a reboot...
So I can't use FN without a reset with the F1 to the use of the F12 key and a reboot...

Normally the FN key works only if it is pressed... If this is the normal operation of the keys 1 to 4 or F1 to F12 will work if configured in the settings, or not?

    What should do?

    Kind regards
    Jürgen

First of all, you can change between the special function key mode (without pressing the FN key) or normal (standard) mode (Fn hold first of all use the standard functions of F1 - F12).

This function can be changed in the BIOS.
In BIOS go to Advanced-> system configuration

    Check this option.

  • How to get back after piercing down on a chart

Hi, I'm on 4.2.4 and using integrated Anychart mapping tool.

Explore works very well. I would like to add an icon that allows the user to the top level by clicking. Any ideas on how to implement this?

    Thank you

    Tim

With the help of a button, you can do the following:

Create your button on the page, in the Action when clicked, action button, select redirection to url.  In the target URL, enter this: javascript:history.back ().

Save and you will now have a button on your chart region to redirect the user back to the calling page in your application.

  • How to bring back after restoring Vista SP1 SP2 operating system &?

I recently used the media supplied with my laptop to restore/reinstall the OS I have a feeling that I don't have it quite right... but my computer works fine. Better than he has for a while. Unfortunately, it's living in the past.

I had Vista Home Premium SP2 race and now I have only blocks of service of the House of Premium.No. I tried to install SP1 via Windows Update. It takes about 20 seconds. Update history said he "succeeded" but when I look in "Installed updates" is not there. Since then I have "successfully" updated for SP1 20 + times and the only one available for me now (available on several occasions) updated is SP1. My last installed update was September 21. Although windows update history shows "successful" updated all the way up to 15 October.

In the meantime I had went to the MS downloads site and found the stand-alone (936330 KB) version 5. I tried to install that and it seemed to work. For about 50 minutes. or so he worked there and then it is simply disappeared. Gone.No error message, nothing. I tried again and this time, it still seemed to work, but it has taken longer to disappear this time. After several other attempts, I gave up.

Since then, I tried a fix to this. Unfortunately, as evidenced by this post, I had no luck. I hope that someone out there has thought about it. I'm reasonably computer literate. More technical it more it receives, but I learn constantly.

    I use a Dell Inspiron 1720, Vista Home Premium, Version 6.0.6000, 32-bit, x 86, circa 2008. Intel Core 2 Duo CPU T5750 @ 2.00 GHz 2000 mhz carrots 2, 2 logical processors.  2 hard drives @ 320 GB ea. BIOS A09, 11/07/2008. Ver.2.4 SMBIOS.

I'm currently downloading a set of files to install vista home premium 32 bit x 86 with SP1. I hope that it will work. My other alternative is this Dell factory image restore point but I think it'd probably just in the same situation? Help.

    Hello

I don't know why you have problems with standalones.

This is the advice that we give the posters who have problems with Service Packs:

Click Start > right click on computer > left click on properties > see if you have Vista 32 bit or Vista 64-bit installed.

It will also tell you which SP you have installed.

Then, choose the download of 'bit' OK to use to install Service Packs, installation of SP1 first if it is not already installed.

    Vista SP1 32-bit (x 86): http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30

    Vista SP1 64-bit: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=21299

    Vista SP2 32-bit (x 86): http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=16468

    Vista SP2 64-bit: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17669

This Information Microsoft can help you resolve problems that you encounter during the installation of Service Packs for Vista.

  • How to get back after changing to 2 cpu 1 CPU 1 processor

I changed the number of processors on this prompt Windows (Windows 2003 SP2) 1 to 2 using the console.

Now, I would go back to 1 cpu.

In so far, I have stop the Windows prompt and changed back the console, its cpu from 2 to 1.

Then restarted the Windows prompt.  However, when I go into computer management and devices and computers, it still appears as multiprocessor.

Should what additional steps I take?

    Thank you

To return to a single processor inside of windows, you must update the HAL.  So in Device Manager (which looks like that you know where it is) right click on multiprocessor and "update driver".  Choose any options that tell them to select the right driver manually.  Select ACPI uniprocessor and complete the update of the driver.  It prompts you to restart, and once you do that it takes only one pure CPU VM.  Of course when you do any kind of changes such as a virtual machine, you can take a snapshot of it in a working state before in case something happen which make dead.  Should not run into any problems with this, it several times.

  • Satellite Pro S500-14Z - how to access the BIOS?

    Hello

on the Satellite Pro S500-14Z I can´t access the BIOS via F2 and can´t change the bootpriority through F12. By pressing F2 or F12 during startup, the S500 beeps and restarts. When you first start, I had access to the Bios and set the password and active supervisor module TPM. Since I have no access to the BIOS before Windows starts. Is there another key to access bios (I tried ESC, DEL, F1, INS) or how can I change the pw supervisor (I know my real password!) and disable the TPM?

    Thank you
    Karl

    Hi karlS_1,

Normally you can access the BIOS if you press F2 before Windows starts. It works with an external keyboard?

You can change some settings in the BIOS using Toshiba HWsetup. This tool is preinstalled on your laptop and you can change the order of boot with this tool.

  • How to access the Satellite Pro 6100 wireless network card?

I'm cleaning a Satellite Pro 6100 for a customer and noticed that it has built in wireless card (something they didn't know). However, I just can't work out how to access. I pushed the little switch on the side backwardsa and I rocked forward, Fn + F8 and everything else I can think. But nothing happens.

I even found the Switch Device Network utility, but that is only to show the LAN card.

    Any ideas?

First of all please check if Device Manager in the laptop has an integrated WiFi card. The switch WLan available on the website of the laptop does not. Laptops are delivered with different specifications, and the WLan card is optional.

I think that the WLan card is not installed in your laptop and so you cannot use it.
