Satellite L450D-107, looking for wireless LAN driver

Hello

I have my Satellite connection problems to my network wireless at home. I want to solve by installing the real driver, but I can't find it on the download page. I have a Microsoft driver installed (Version 6.1020.226.2009). Any suggestions?

Kind regards
Achim

In Device Manager you can find this module WLan was built in the notebook...

But what kind of question WLan you have exactly?

Without doubt, the question is not related to the driver...

    Hi all

I am newly joined here in the forum and I'm looking for a driver for my laptop model Satellite L500-1EJ I bought last year here in Doha.

I'm really surprised that the model number is not available in Toshiba driver download website! ??

Can someone help me please? I use Windows XP, service pack 2 now.

    Concerning

    Hi shihabuhashim,

Why the model number is not available on the Web from Toshiba site? Where did you look?

I checked the Web from Toshiba site and I can find:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download drivers
    Laptop > Satellite > Satellite L Series > Satellite L500 > PSLS0E > Windows XP
(Satellite L500-1EJ belongs to the PSLS0E series)

Now download the audio driver you need, but it s recommended installation of Service Pack 3 before you begin with the installation of the driver, as it contains important updates.

  • Get the Installation failed (-10) for Wireless LAN Driver on Samsung laptop running Windows 7 computer

I tried to install the update of the driver wireless LAN appears so in SW updates on my Samsung laptop model number NP305E5A that is running Windows 7 (64-bit); and I keep getting error message-10 Installation failure.  I called Samsung and they distance access my computer and tried to install it via the SW update, as well as through websites; and it's the same thing; and they said I need to contact Microsoft as there seems to be some sort of bug on the side of the things Microsoft... Or otherwise I have to do a factory reset my laptop (which I will lose everything I have on my computer - not my first choice of solving this problem)

The biggest problem with this is that it has disabled the wireless all together, and EVERY time I turn on my computer I have to go into my settings and activate my wireless, and no matter what I do the settings will not stay and I lose connectivity wireless at times.

Please tell us what to do.

Download the driver manually for the wireless adapter. (see instructions below)

Restart in Mode safe mode and uninstall the driver via Device Manager.

    Click Start, type: Device Manager

    Press enter on your keyboard

    Expand the network adapters

Right-click in the map listed wireless, this must be a wireless network Broadcom based card

    Click on uninstall.

Restart your computer in normal mode.

Download driver driver for Wireless adapt.

    Go to http://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/NP305E5A-A01US

Scroll down to the driver tab, and then select your operating system and architecture:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/find-out-32-or-64-bit

After you have selected your architecture, scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see your driver listed:

    Hello

This laptop specific doesn't have a wireless to turn on/off switch. I can't seem to be able to locate the "wireless" on the Control Panel, in order to enable it.

    Help, please!

    Hi lil_red_rose,

The laptop doesn't have a WIFI hardware switch, but you can use the combination of keys FN + F8 to disable/enable the feature WLAN.

Also if the wireless network adapter is not recognized, press the key combination mentioned above to activate the wireless network card.

  • Satellite U940 - update Realtek Wireless LAN Driver

I just upgraded my Satellite U940 PSU6VA - 00S 002 Windows 8 to 8.1 of Windows and am currently following the instructions of the upgrade from here. I noticed that European and Australian Toshiba sites include a 'Realtek Wireless LAN Driver' in their list of downloads driver for Windows 8.1 for the Satellite U940:
    - European page
    -[http://support.toshiba-tie.co.jp/windows81/drivers/PSU6V_Up_au.htm]

However, I have never noticed any a Realtek wireless LAN driver on my computer, before even that I have upgraded to Windows 8.1. I've only seen in Device Manager network cards:
    -Intel Centrino Wireless-N 2200
-Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller (which I believe is a wired LAN driver, not a LAN wireless driver).

So my question is: do I have to download the Realtek wireless network driver or is it not suitable for my system?

    > So my question is: do I have to download the Realtek wireless network driver or is it not suitable for my system?

Your laptop was equipped with Intel wireless network adapter and NOT card Realtek WLan and therefore the Realtek WLan driver does not need to be installed.
You should consider a fact: there are different laptops on the market models that are equipped with different material parts. Some support the Realtek WLan card and some models were equipped with modules WLan Intel and that's why you can find some drivers (like Realtek Bluetooth Driver Package Filter) in the driver from the list of downloads that are not essential for all models.

  • Satellite A210-ST0 - wireless LAN driver does not work

I recently reformatted my laptop with windows XP, and I have all the drivers working except the wireless Lan driver.
I got the driver from the toshiba page and this is the XP driver. I install it, but the computer still does not recognize that the map has a pilot (appears as a question mark in the Device Manager) does anyone else have this problem? is there another place to get the driver?

PS: I'm pretty good with computers, I just need the driver file and can installed with on an EXE file

    Hmm

What page of the driver Toshiba did you use for the download of the driver?

As I m not wrong not the * Satellite A210 - ST0 PSAFGC * is a Canadian series and therefore, it would be desirable to use the Canadian page for the download of the driver!

    Check this box:
    http://support.Toshiba.ca/support/download/ln_byModel.asp

The WLan card chip could come from Realtek or Atheros.

Last but not least, you should check your BIOS version. If the latest version is available on the Canadian page and then try to update!

    Good luck

If you follow these steps, I'll be able to see the drivers wireless and bluetooth, you need a professional laptop HP with the same wireless card...

Go to Device Manager and click on the marked device network controller that should the drivers.

Then click on the Details tab at the top of the control of the network window.

Now, you see a drop-down list of property and it is set by default to the Description of the unit.

Drop down on it and select 3rd in the list (Hardware ID).

After the first string of characters that start with PCI\VEN.

  • Atheros Wireless LAN Driver 10.0.0.326 Qualcomm QCA9000 series

I am looking this driver for my next installation of Win 7 Pro on a machine to win 8 but have never downgraded to an older OS on a newer machine. I found most of the drivers win 7 but only found a version .zip of the wireless lan driver. Does anyone have an idea on where to find this driver win 7 zip No.

    Sincerely

    Confused John

    Hello

    Please contact Microsoft Community.

The problem description, I understand that you are trying to downgrade to windows 7 pro and having problems in unzip the driver files.

First of all, I want to tell you that Downgrade Windows 8 to an earlier version of Windows depends as well on Windows 8 version you have and the method by which you got Windows 8. Not all editions of Windows provide downgrade rights. If you have right to demotion and decide to use them, you continue to keep the licence and the rights of use for your original version and can 'upgrade' to the rear at any time.

    I suggest you to consult:

On the drivers if there is a file compressed, you can un zip this file by the following method:

    Double-click the zipped file

To decompress a file, the easiest method is to double-click it. It will open a window with the contents of zipped files. You can click on extract all files or drag the files from the window to the desired location (example: office).
If you choose to click on extract all files, the files are extracts (uncompressed) in the same location as the original file, unless you specify a location in the Destination box, and extract the files that appears when you choose to extract them.

    Right-click on the zipped file

Right click on the zip file and select extract all. The Select a Destination window will open and extract files and you can choose if you want to save the files in the same location as the original file, or you can choose where you want to save the unzipped files by clicking Browse and choose a new location.
Compress and uncompress files (zip files)

For can also refer to the suggestion given by Andre Da Costa replied on 17 August 2013 in the mentioned thread:

    I hope this helps.

    Kind regards
    Anusha
