I guess that Toshiba test riders before they download them and it takes a bit but I noticed that every day more and more drivers for Windows 7 will be available to check the Toshiba page from time to time.

So what I need to first uninstall each software driver and then install the new versions OR I can install them without deleting the previous versions? It would lead to a kind of shock?

  Normally you can just update the drivers without uninstalling existing, unless the installation instructions will tell you to do.

  Some driver packages will automatically uninstall the old drivers before installing new.

  More simply install on the current criteria. I rarely uninstall drivers before updating them.

  After you update a driver, you must always check the tab driver in the Device Manager for the device that you updated to ensure that the new driver installed. You can check this tab before update and then after you updated to note the date/version of the pilot before and the driver date and version later.

  If for some reason, there was no change, then I uninstall the current driver and try reinstalling the newest one.

  Not seem that all Win 7 32-bit drivers are available for the C670 at this time.

  Since the VAP is not related to series of specific portable but the system (Windows 7 or Vista), you can use the VAP released for other series

  I recommend the C660 series and released for download the VAP.

  Unfortunately, this is not possible. The Toshiba Recovery disk can be created on a preinstalled OS, because only there, the recovery disk creator is installed.

  On the second partition recovery files are now unnecessary, because you can use HARD drive recovery option more and creator of recovery disc is removed.

  There is unfortunately no drivers for Windows 7 32 bit so I think that the Satellite U500 doesn t support this operating system.

  Why you have installed another OS without checking the availability of driver?
  AFAIK U500 is pre-installed with Windows 7 64 bit then why you changed obsolete 32-bit version that supports a maximum of 3 GB of RAM?

  In any case, I think you need to get yourself to drivers so check other sites such as Intel, Realtek, etc. directly to get 32-bit drivers.
  Alternative, you can search the Web from Toshiba site for other models of laptops they support 32-bit and have similar hardware as U500.
