  AFAIK utility flash card is part of value added package (VAP) so don t install a single utility but all VAP, restart your computer and install the latest version of the Toshiba download page.

  I have a Satellite A200 PSAE3E and noticed recently that Flash cards do not appear now when I move my mouse to the top of the screen pointer.
  I checked that the program is set to start when the laptop is turned on and I looked at the settings for the program and everything seems OK.

  However I can't get them to appear if I double click on the file and start it manually.
  As a temporary solution, I put a shortcut on my desktop to start it.

  Go to:-> all programs-Toshiba-> Utilities > restart Flash Cards

  Now flash cards should be ok

• Using the FN keys without flash cards

  Hello everyone

  I wonder if its possible to use the FN keys without toshiba flash cards on the top of the screen and therefore without having to install the value-added package?

  Some FN keys like brightness, mute, switch the display and sleep work without VAP
  but I also enabled WiFi, touchpad switch, mode switching power, buttons, which do not zoom

  Yet once, I don't want this utility to flash, still running cards and consumption of ram

  As far as I know something like this is not possible and if you have FN feature flash card utility must be running in the background.
  This along with the consumption of RAM is funny to me because if you turn it off you won't see any difference in the performance of the computer.

  Is there a contraindication to install Windows XP Pro on a Satellite 4070CDT with Max off the coast of the RAM (192 MB)?

  I tried and it seems ok at first glance, if I have a strange problem with a Cardbus real of Xircom Ethernet 100 + Modem 56 often get an error indicating a hardware failure.   I work on one - A300-1MO with win 7 ultimate 32 bit

  In the last few days (since I installed the Bluetooth driver but I don't think that it's important), sound card and the speakers of the laptop, go to be dumb to be active, sometimes in large volume.

  It bothers me a lot because my computer is noises while I'm in classes (from apps running\web sites etc.). I've almost been hunted class several times because of this.

  I tried the sound card on the console of windows and the application of the sound card of inhibition, it doesn't help.

  I think that this should be the first step you should try.

  The laptop uses a Realtek audio chip.
  Visit the Realtek page to get the latest Realtek audio driver.
  Remove the old audio driver installed and after reboot new try the audio downloaded Realtek driver.

• The cut on my Satellite A300 and it works without a keyboard

  Hi guys,.
  I spilled half a glass of tea on my Toshiba Satellite A300. I dried quickly by opening and by blowing dry air into it. The laptop works very well with the keyboard removed but no way with the connected keyboard it will star bipping everywhere. A couple of questions here.

  (1) can I connect a keyboard external usb for awhile?
  (2) Technical Service charge me to replace the lid and the keyboard? Why the cover while plastic and metal? How is the coverage could be ruinned too? I understand the keyboard, but the cover? Give me a break.
  (3) private users can buy replacements of parts on the internet. Any address in Europe who trust someone? I pay 60 euros for the time of 5 minutes from the repairman to change its keyboard. I can do it by myself. It's not rocket science, and here a great site with instructions step by step.
