Hey,.

You also need the package of added value. This tool is required for all other Toshiba tools such as Flash Cards Support utility.

Take a look at the Toshiba page where you can get it:

    Hello

Specification of the reading for this Satellite specifications and I really wonder you want to install the operating system Windows XP Home edition on it. First of all this laptop is about 7 years old and I really do believe that the WXP can work well with this low hardware configuration.

Secondly, this phone is not supported for Windows XP Home edition and because of that Toshiba has never offered drivers for this good old classic. If you can't find a driver on the manufacturer directly, I'm afraid there is not much to do.

Can someone send me a link that u downloaded your drivers or can someone download me those because I can't find the drivers on the official website.

It is a Toshiba laptop we and you will need to perform a search on the page of the Toshiba driver we.
Is there no driver XP then you have to collect the drivers of your own hands.

The A305 is very similar to the European A300 series so try some single XP driver released for the laptop models A300 on the European driver from Toshiba site.

  • Can not find "Main card" setting in the BIOS

I have an Optiplex 3020 using INTEL HD Graphics, which came with the unit. I recently bought 730 PNY GEFORCE GT NVIDIA graphics card, as was suggested by a Dell representative, in order to output HDMI to my TV Smart. In the section "before you begin" instructions, is said that "If you have on-board graphics, built-in, enter the system BIOS and look for a setting called"Primary Display Adapter", or something similar, then set this to PCI." If you can't find this setting, contact your system manufacturer. »

Well, I went into the BIOS, but I can't find the setting, so maybe someone can point me in the right direction?

    Thank you

Dear all, I have a problem my brightness on my laptop settings

What happened after system restore using the restore points, I have Born altered buttons and brightness scale works in opposite way.
In short, display brightness will 'weak' when you use high performance and it goes up to level 8 on the eco mode.

-FN + F7 to increase the brightness does not lower it!
-Using the scale of display settings, it will top when you move down the scale.

    Toshiba support sent me:

Please contact Toshiba. Your ticket is [#70405644].
    To resolve this problem, you can try the following procedure: {color}

  • Satellite L100-120: can not find the driver for wireless network card

Hello world! help me cause I don't know who I can apply my probem for! I bought this laptop in Russia - and not a bad model, but I want to change the operating system in the way that I love - so I installed vista, but the note does not work well with it, then I installed Windows XP sp2 home ed, changed in the way I wanted to, but the main problem is that I had to install almost all pilots of myself-

Toshiba modifies his notes in the way that without its own operating system video card, modem card or wifi and sound card do not work! Well, I found all the drivers except for wifi adapter - I almost tried everything but he can't help! wifi card does not work on my note!

could someone help me in this matter?

The laptop was supplied with the mini-PCI Intel 3945ABG card WLan. Am I wrong?
You should look on the Intel page for Wlan drivers for the Vista operating system.
I also found the drivers for my Intel Wlan card on the Web site.

  • Re: Satellite C660-225 can not find the recovery files

    Hello

I have a satellite C660-225 and you want to restore to its original settings by using the zero button. The recovery starts, but the laptop then said it cannot find the files to restore. But they are on the C drive and I made a copy on disk D.

I don't have a recoverydisk. What can I do now?

    Thank you in advance,
    Plankie

    Post edited by: plankie

Recovery image is usually original saved on partition D, as well as on some machines on the hidden recovery partition, but certainly not on the C partition.

You cannot move files in recovery from one place to another piece waiting for everything works fine.

In your case installation image of HARD drive recovery not working anymore.
What you can do now is to try to create a recovery media using the method described on http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/HTD4103KB0000R01.htm

You'll be really lucky if it will work. Otherwise you can order the original recovery image on https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx

    Good luck

  • Satellite P500 (PSPE8U) - can not find the drivers for it

    Hello

I've been and down these forums without success. I watched a lot of forums for the drivers for my P500. I've been through the pages of support sites toshiba of Europe, Uk, Australia and Japan... no chance either. I tried to contact the ebay seller I bought, apparently it is now out of business. It goes without saying that the laptop came without any driver disk. Unfortunately, one of the drives died on me and had no time to do a recovery with all the drivers disk. So now I'm really stuck. Here are the details of the laptop should anyone have brain waves for me-

    P500 - PSPE8U
    Windows Vista 64-bit
    ATI HD 4650

At the time the largest bad head are the video drivers and my battery life is around 30 mins without the toshiba software. The stock of the resolution is a disaster without the correct driver. I tried the ATI46 drivers * from their site, but the application tells me that my hardware is not supported.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you
    Chris

    Hi Chris,

Satellite P500 with model PSPE8U number belongs to the US models and therefore all the drivers and tools that you can find on the Toshiba U.S. page:
    http://www.CSD.Toshiba.com

Just check the underside of your laptop again for the exact model as P500-S1234 number, then you can find the right drivers for your model. :)

  • XPS M1330 can not find network card after reinstalling Windows Vista

    Hi all

I'm passing my computer to a member of his family and wanted to give them a new installation, so I used the disc of Windows Vista (32-bit SP1) shipped with the laptop and reinstalled Vista on the computer. Everything worked fine until I wanted to connect to the internet, then Windows tells that there are no available networks. When I chose "Why doesn't windows find all networks" he stated that "this computer doesn't have a wireless network installed and configured card". I put in the Dell driver and Utilities CD that shipped with the computer and installed the drivers which seemed related to networking or communications, but the problem persists. I guess it's some sort of driver problem (as the computer used wireless before the reformat (a few hours ago) and so the device itself seems to work.)

I would greatly appreciate any help to get this race. :)

    Thank you!

    Hi Chris,

Please share the system model and the operating system installed on your computer?

If you are facing problems with the wireless, you can follow the steps below to check if the drivers are listed as installed in the Device Manager:

    • Press 'Windows' + 'R' key on keyboard.
    • Type "devmgmt.msc" into the box run without quotes.
    • In the Device Manager window, expand network adapters and verify if your wireless card is on the list.

If the wireless driver is not present in the system and is displayed as a network controller in the section other devices with a yellow question mark, you can download the drivers from the link: http://dell.to/QjjZDA -> Enter-> the serial number of your system, select the operating system-> expand the category network to download/install wireless drivers

I hope this helps. Please respond to the findings.

  • Satellite A205 S4797 - can not find the drivers for my player

I have recovery disks and the Windows Vista installation disc. When I try to install error meesage says that it cannot find the drivers for my player.
I tried scannong CD player and there are not 32-bit, 64-bit, all them have different drivers and if so where can I get one I need if not from the installation disc or the disc recovery of fab?

If you cannot use original Toshiba recovery DVD for the installation of the OS I can imagine there is a problem with the DVD itself (some missing file or scratches) but the installation of Microsoft Vista SHOULD work on this model of laptop.

If this doesn t work too there must be a problem with the HARD drive. Just if you want to install Windows XP Home edition, you need to load the SATA driver on startup, but Vista should work.

Can you please tell me what happen when you try to install Vista from the facilities of Microsoft Vista DVD?

  • Satellite Pro A300 can not find USB devices

    Hello forum,.

We have a customer who bought a Toshiba Satellite Pro A300 with us, but he gets a strange mistake about it.
It connects to a hub 5port Sandberg USB 2.0 to one of the usb ports, the pc detects the hub, but when it connects a /Memory stick to the hub, nothing happens.
the hub and the memory stick works on other PCs.

    I hope someone can help.

    Best regards

    John Bork
    DANBIT A/S

    Hello

What happens if you connect the memory stick directly without this USB hub?
I also had a USB hub, but these hubs are a little complicated and delicate USB specification allows a certain power and according to the devices that connect, you need to use an active USB hub, that means with external power supply.

But normally, Satellite Pro A300 should have enough USB ports if it of needed, I would recommend a USB hub with 2 or 3 maximum ports

  • Satellite C50-B-13D: can not find the driver for Win7 32-bit graphics card

    Hello

Basically, my problem is that I went from Windows 8 for Windows 7 and I can't find the card drivers, graphic corresponding

I tried to install almost all pilots inter there, but non of them work.

So, I would be happy if someone could help me,
I need a graphics driver VGA standard for windows 7 ultimate (32 bit)

    Hi Emil

I m wondering really why to install the 32-bit version if the 64-bit version is fully supported and you can find all necessary drivers, tools and utilities on Toshiba download page.
As you probably know, 64-bit version would be better due to overall performance and RAM usage.

Can you please tell us which GPU Intel is in your machine? I can't find the exact model name. It must be integrated Intel GPU with shared memory.

  • Satellite P855 - Flash Card Utility does not work

The Flash card utility on my laptop doesn't work anymore since a few months. I used to be able to for example just press F12 to turn WiFi on or off. I would like to see also the map at the top of the screen, showing the pictogram of the WiFi is enabled/disabled.

    However, this no longer works.
If I now have to press F12, it simply works such as F12.
I need to press the Fn key and F12 to turn WiFi on or off.
I don't see the icons at the top of the screen more.

I don't remember a specific thing I have installed or made at the same time as the utility of the Flash Card stopped working. However, I made a lot of new facilities and the BIOS updates.

When I click on start > all programs > Toshiba > tools & utilities > Flash cards, I can change the settings.

However, everything I try, it won't work.
The version of the utility that I have now is version 3.3.4.64. I have also installed the utility of the card Flash again after you download it on the Toshiba site. It does not help as well.

I have a Toshiba Satellite P855 with Windows 7 (64-bit). Hope someone can help me solve this problem. Thank you!

    > If I now have to press F12, it simply works such as F12.
    > I need to press the Fn key and F12 to turn WiFi on or off.

You can enable and disable in the BIOS.
Go to BIOS (F2)-> Advanced tab-> the system setup
Here you can find the option called function keys mode (without pressing FN first)

Don t forget to save changes made in the BIOS before leaving the BIOS settings.
