  As wrote Akuma, please connect an external monitor to check if the problem is graphic or screen associated.

  Also make sure that display latest Toshiba driver (not Intel) is installed. All drivers provided by Toshiba are pre-tested and works well on the laptop.

  Last but not least: are you using pre-installed Windows version, or you have installed your own version?

  Toshiba Satellite L670-12J with 64-bit Windows. Processor i5, 4 GB memory and 500 GB hard drive.

  Such an upgrade is not possible, mate. The graphics card is attached to the motherboard and so you can t Exchange it. It s not as easy as on the desktop due more small form factor.

  For simulations or games to say let s you should purchase a Qosmio laptop because they are specially designed for this type of applications. They are really great and fast. :)

  Partition 1 - 232 GB system
  Partition the HARD drive recovery data contains - Data 232 GB - 2

  What I've done so far:
  I created 3 DVD of the recovery partition recovery using the toshiba software.
  Restarted and booted from the recovery DVD made, however no option me is given during the HARD drive recovery process that allows to change the size of the created partitions (fixed size seems to be 232 GB).

  After a few months I just around the audit, if there is no driver update for my model: Satellite L670 with ATI 5650. Apperently Toshiba must approve the pilots to become available to us. Because ATI already has new drivers available, but we are not allowed to install since toshiba does not approve. So we can only download these old way drivers obsolete.

  The thing is thesedrivers have not had an update since February 24th 2011. Or am I wrong? This is unacceptable! newer games run really bad right now with these old drivers. It's horrible!
