(Windows can't do a normal shutdown without this driver. Hangs on the end of the work)

PS: I have a problem after the new installation of windows. New copy without additiontial programms. And I use DriverPackSolution to install the drivers but on this time, it cannot install this driver: C

Of course you can find it on the Toshiba support page - http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp

Your Satellite L775 has PSK2YE part number and you can find it in the list.

  • Satellite U200 - where to find the Bluetooth and Vista driver in English

I just bought a laptop Satellite U200 - in Russia. Of course, it came with Russian Windows. The computer has a disk, a "reanimator" with pilots so that we could not use English Windows and the drive.

My it guy managed to get the drivers of Toshiba and then also successfully installed Windown Vista in English for me. But now I can't find Bluetooth anywhere - it is not yet listed in devices. Yes, I have Bluetooth. In addition, there is no software to activate the secuity of fingerprint system.

Is there anyway that I can get the drive reanimator in ENGLISH? It should come with my computer model to the United Kingdom, so it should be there? Can I order it? Or is it in my computer, I just 'find it '?

  • Satellite A210 - 16G - problem of CPU frequency and memory

    Hey guys,.

    I had a problem with my laptop I can't solve, since I installed windows 7 RTM x 64 version.
I noticed something is wrong after finding that my Windows experience index has fallen to 2.7 instead of 4.5, I used to have on Vista. For those who do not know my characteristics are:
AMD Turion 64 X 2 TL-60, which I've got 2.7 of note, 4 GB Kingston DDR2-667 (333 MHz) - 4.4, scores of charts and hard drives are the same.

I read in one of the forums that it may be a problem with the standby power options, but he did not get any option that says on the frequency of the processor changing according to the plan of the power. I also installed new version 2.0 of the website of Toshiba BIOS, but it only makes things worse: I've got 6.0 rating graphics of games but the Perf of Aero desktop is now 1.0!

I installed diagnostic software: Everest and CPU - Z and I discovered that my CPU works with a frequency of 800 Mhz (the multiplier is 4 x, voltage 0.8V) and my DRAM frequency is 159.8 Mhz (I don't know if it's ok, but I know that 4.4 score is certainly too low although).

So tell me guys, is this a problem of the operating system? Should I try to install the 32-bit version of Windows 7, or it won't change anything? Maybe I should try some software that would change the frequency of my FSB?
I'm waiting for your answers, because I don't know what to do.

    Paul

Aero needs a WDDM compatible graphics driver, then try to update the graphics driver on the Toshiba site

    Hello

In general the BSOD is the product of the problem of hardware or software problem. To check if it of software or hardware associated with deliver its necessary to reinstall the OS and check if the BSOD will appear using the new OS preinstalled.
Of course, it s painful to do that because the recovery procedure would format the HARD drive and therefore the data backup is necessary!

I don t think that the different input voltage might affect the functionality of the laptop computer because the laptop uses the universal adapter that supports entry 100V-240V.

BSOD can be caused by faulty memory modules so I think that this test of memory could be useful also

  • Satellite U840W - how it works with SSD and HDD drives?

    American,

I have a U840W which is a beautiful piece of work. He currently heads the Win7.
It has a hybrid drive system, SSD 32 G and 500G HARD drive. Apparently the 32G acts as a cache.

I tried to install Linux Mint as a dual boot with Win7.

Cannot make it work. The installation process (Ubiquity) does not see disks or partitions.
In a file manager or the GPart-partition manager, I see the HARD drive and all partitions.

Help me to help the developers of the ubiquity of the problem of access to disks I can get a
explanation of the way in which the disk system is organized and how it works?

    Any help greatly appreciated, Ian.

The LINUX community already knows your answer and has led the path to resolve, such as the forum of mint as this thread:

    http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=124299

Even Microsoft Windows has trouble with setup.exe on disc SSD/HDD hybrid and the Microsoft forums are polluted with their own unverified solutions, some of which are frighteningly superstitious that authoritative to be listed here.

Ubi, Gnome and KDE are all based on the ability of Grub reliable start the player and so many different distributions don't guarantee reliability.

I don't have the problem you describe with hybrid hard drives since the installation of 11 Unbuntu.

Mint is not my first choice with the exception of a bureau of temporary replacement, since the authors are strongly focused on the Office UI, less than the largest army of coders behind Unbuntu and Fedora.

I'm not criticizing the currency of your choice, but comparing the current Unbuntu boot process could shorten your objective dissection of a startup process of OEM from a manufacturer known for securing lower level specifications.

  • Satellite A210 - 11 p - gos black screen and HARD drive does not

    Hello

My Satellite A210 - 11 p suddenly goes to a black screen and the hard drive stops working. It is always under tension and if I want to restart I have to unplug the unit and remove the battery.

I thought it was overheating and checked the time and they were really high in the 1980s. I took the fan and cleaned (very dusty) and the basic form of thermal paste. Temperatures plummeted now immediately but I still have the same problem, I updated the graphics driver and watched the temp on GPU (which is fine) but the problem is still happening. I used a number of programs to check for errors on the hard drive and no reported problems. I reloaded Windows 7 but still no joy.
The problem seems to occur at any time and is not due to the execution of a given program, even just browsing with firefox

Not too sure what to do and any advice would be welcome.

    Hey Buddy,

    > I reloaded Windows 7 but still no joy.
Have you ever tried with Toshiba Recovery disk operating system?

The Toshiba recovery disc there is an image of the settings from the factory with all the drivers and tools. If you install Windows on this disk, you factory back.

That would mean if you have the same problem after the installation of recovery it s really bad hardware working because you have pretested settings of Toshiba. In this case an authorized service provider can help you make an accurate diagnosis what part is affected.

  • Satellite A60-131: Question about upgrade RAM and HARD drive

    I have a Toshiba Satellite A60 S-131, bought 2 years ago.
I want to know is it possible for me to upgrade (internal) for a superior ability to HDD 40 GB HARD drive and update my RAM to 512 MB on the rise.

Also I already inserted a 256 MB DDR RAM in the empty memory slot almost 1 year ago.

    Help will be appreciated.

    Hi Pranjal,

You can definitley upgrade your hard drive for a larger version. You should find that a 80 or 100 GB will work fine. You should make sure that you get you a new disc with the same physical characteristics as you existing. The following link will help you remove the hard drive.
    http://irisvista.com/tech/laptops/ToshibaA65/satA65_1.htm

You can also get a new hard drive with a more rapid rotation speed (5400 RPM or 7200 RPM).

I think that the maximum RAM for the A60 is 1.25 GB which includes 1 X fixed module (I presume yours is 256 MB, which means that you can install an additional module with a capacity up to 1 GB. Available in capacities of 256 MB, 512 MB and 1 GB of RAM modules.

    Kind regards

    Hey Buddy,

    > It turns on only when I restart the computer.
    Wait a moment, please
How do you restart the laptop if it doesn t start?

In any case, she could relate to a hardware malfunction. Have you plugged an external display to check if the internal LCD working properly?

See also this article from Toshiba:

By the way: you can back up your data from another computer. So to remove the HARD drive and put it in a box external HARD disk. Then you have access to all data.

    Hello

Looks like your HARD drive is defective because the BIOS doesn't recognize.

I think you need to replace the HARD drive and reinstall Windows using the Microsoft installation disc. All the drivers and tools that you can download on the Toshiba site:

  • Satellite A100-906: Question on the processor and HARD drive temperature

    Hey guys,.

I want to ask u for the level of normal temperature of this laptop? I want to know the temperature of the CPU (1,2) and the temperature of the HARD drive, because I think that my laptop is overheating and it is a problem for me :/ (my temperature is now around 50 for the 2 hearts and nearly 40 for hard disk) Is this ok or? Ty ;)

    Hello

Believe me, the 50 degrees C for the CPU and C 40 degrees for the disk HARD is a normal temperature! It's rare!
On my laptop the CPU temperature increases up to 60 degrees C if no application works.

But be aware that the temperature varies.
If you run different applications on the laptop, the performance of the processor will be increased and the temperature rises.
    That is a fact.

There is nothing wrong GUY ;)
