Satellite L775-119 - updated with the blu - ray player?

At my L775-119 for a few weeks, and it's going great, really happy, but I'm just request if possible, ray some time in the future to upgrade the DVD RW for a Blu re-writer drive?

Hello

I m not Satellite L775 owner but I think that it should be possible, as some L770/L775 models are delivered with the drive blu - ray in General, it seems that the laptop supports these discs.

But you can get an exact answer to an authorized service provider. Guys can control a compatible player for you and install it if you are not familiar with laptop part exchange.

Do you know how to contact an authorized service provider?

    Thank you very much.

    Hey,.

Theoretically, a Blu Ray player should be possible but I think that in this case, you need a 100% sure of the answer that you n t buy something that will not work and you should do all the experiments.
There are some L670 models on the market, they drive Blu ray so I m providing a service provider authorized in your country you can sell such a compatible reader. Here it s only a user to user forum so I don't think anyone can tell you that this disc is compatible or not.

Hello, I was wondering if I can get any help on this one, I have recently purchased Satellite P855-335 and I was under the impression that he could read blue - ray disks, as it also comes with the option of 3D player.

Now, I searched online for answers and even checked the specifications of construction for the laptop but it does not give me a straight answer, so my question is: does it come with B - R drive? Otherwise, I can get a STRANGE blue-ray player from Toshiba and install it?

  • Satellite Pro L870-149 - query Toshiba Blu - Ray player

    Good afternoon.

I bought the laptop above a month ago and have just tried playing a Bluray disc for the first time using its built-in Bluray player, but nothing plays.

By default the autoruns drive the integrated Toshiba Blu - Ray player, which is loaded up with success. However, nothing happens when I hit play, I can't see the list of chapters and I can not load all of the menus on the disc itself.

Disk can navigate in Windows Explorer and there is no mark on the disc itself (it's a drive new, bought at the shop), but I don't have any other disc BluRay that I can use to check if it's the disc or the drive.

The built-in player or the player itself's restrictions on the game bought at the shop of BluRay discs?
I should also mention that I have ensured that I have selected the correct region during the initial installation of the player.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Simon

Have you tested with several discs of different blu - ray player?

  • Can satellite P200-1EE - I get a Blu - Ray player for her?

Finally, Toshiba have joined the BDA!
We know if or when they will release a Blu - Ray player to replace the HD-DVD drives in a P200-1EE?

I know that this post may be a bit premature, but I felt betrayed, since the purchase of the laptop and Toshiba format let down HD-DVD 3 weeks later.

    Hello!

I put t know when Toshiba will release a Bluray you can buy to swap it with your HD-DVD player.

But maybe a car from a different manufacture will work also on your laptop. In your case I go to the computer store nearest and ask for such propulsion. Perhaps you can test it in the shop if it works because not all readers are compatible with all portable (assignment of pins e. g.).

    Good luck!

  • Satellite P750-135 - key FN and Blu - Ray player does not

OK so recently I've noticed a few problems with my Satellite P750-135 with PSAY3E-059002EN part number.

Not words, the button FN done any work, however when the Toshiba flash card settings are configured to enable the mouse above, the functions that I would normally use, for example FN + ESC to mute or FN + F6 to turn down the brightness, etc., the works of service.

The problem has occurred since the drivers updated by a program on my PC but I can not restore the system to a point where the driver has been updated. I uninstalled the driver and installed the driver from Toshiba Web site and tried countless other things without success. Any help would be appreciated.

As for my second question, a while back I tried to play a Blu - Ray movie on my laptop and it works as it is. The drive plays DVD but when a Blu - Ray drive is inserted, the drive whirs, the AutoPlay window opens with no program to read it.

I have tried opening the Corel to play it, but it does not work.
The drive in question works on my One Xbox and Playstation 3, and I've tried other discs that don't work.

    Any suggestions?

ccYou know that's not easy to say what the problem is here. When you get new notebook with the settings everything works and all the pre-installed drivers, tools and utilities work well together.
Many people install some updates which are not so important, and then something can go in the wrong direction.
    > The problem has occurred for a program on my PC updated drivers...
To be honest I don't know what program do you have average and exactly what has been updated.
In any case you can try to solve this problem of FN keys is to remove preinstalled Toshiba value added package, restart your computer and install the latest version of the Toshiba download page - http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp
Utility of flash cards is part of this package and I hope after installation of VAP own this will work properly again.

    Blu - Ray movie question:
BD BD to play drive before graphic driver will change color and switch to Win7 basic running drive Toshiba BD is not compatible with certain Visual elements. Have you noticed this in the past, this automatic switching between the color schemes?
Did you perhaps updated original display driver Toshiba?
    > I have tried opening the Corel to play it, but it does not work.
The very fact of start or not?
    This is a bit complicated.

BTW, it is difficult to get off the bezel, I had to push the vertical tab on the left side (if it is viewed from the front) for awhile I didn't break it. Those in the middle are off easily and the last one (horizontal to the right) is more difficult to identify, you slightly rotate the bezel away from him.

And do not forget to move the rear support in metal in the new Assembly, otherwise the HARD drive is only required by the SATA connection

  • Satellite A200-21dts CD/DVD drive with a Blu - ray drive replacement

    Hello

    I have a laptop Satellite A200-21dts supplied with the mat * a UJ-850 drive.

My original disk no longer works...
I plan to buy a new one, but I wish that whoever has a buit in the Blu - ray dvd player.

I've heard that not all players are working with Toshiba laptops, so I would like a little help to find a bluray player that would work with my laptop.

    Two readers caught my attention:
the Panasonic UJ - 120 and the Sony BC 5500 has.

    These drivers work with Toshibas?
    Anyone have another suggestion?

Thank you much for the help!

    Hello

    > These drivers work with Toshibas?
I think you will have to test it yourself.
As much as I know Toshiba didn t nothing said about Blueray players compatible Satellite A200.

The fact is that not all readers are compatible due to different master/slave/c-salt settings.
With the help of ODD is not compatible you will get an IDE #1 error and the drive will not be recognized by the BIOS.

But I've read here in the forum that some guy managed to upgrade own Toshiba units with a blue ray player
So I m thinking you've got a good opportunity to update.

Contact HP and see what combination of keys at startup it probably gets to the factory defects.

    Maybe this:

Restore the PC to its original state with the HP Recovery Manager if Windows Vista is not accessible

If the computer does not start in Windows, it may still be possible to use the HP recovery disk to restore the computer to its original state. The Recovery Manager can be started during the boot process by following the steps below.
    1. Press on the button / stop to start the computer and press f11 when the standard BIOS guests appear on the black screen.
NOTE: by pressing the f11 key during startup on a computer with an image factory HP will start the system recovery process, even if the message is not displayed.

      • If the HP Recovery Manager can access the recovery on the hard drive partition, you receive a to back up user files before you start the recovery prompt. Follow the instructions.
      • If the HP Recovery Manager cannot access the hard disk to resolve system errors, you need to use the recovery disk custom that you created to recover the hard disk to its original state.
      • If you have not created the custom recovery disk, or disks are damaged, you can order a replacement of HP recovery CD.

    2. When the Recovery Manager starts, follow the instructions of recovery step by step , shown above.
Solve a common problem of recovery.
If the original operating system is changed to a non - Vista OS, the Recovery Manager cannot be launched either office or by pressing f11 at startup. You can use the recovery disk to restore the computer to the original state of Vista. If you are using a non - Vista OS, you can use a third-party partition management program to recover hard disk space.

Or try to order a new recovery discs...

    Maybe this article:
    http://www.ZDNet.com/blog/Bott/lost-your-Windows-discs-how-to-get-replacement-media-legally/4320

HP has a simple recovery process, and its policy to provide filtering alternatives is well integrated in its support pages.

I went through the process of replacing for a two-year-old HP Pavilion Elite m9600t. This system was built in the summer 2009, before Windows 7 shipped. As a result, my only option was to support Windows Vista 64-bit. For first class mail, HP shipping or taxes added up to $15.80. (I might have updated 2-day or night FedEx delivery for another $6 or $12, respectively.)

From this page: HP and Compaq Desktop PC: looking for recovery discs?

There step by step instructions to create a recovery disc for Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP. Also, it offers the possibility to order replacement disks, but warns that these discs may only be available for a limited time:

If you are unable to create a set of recovery discs, you may be able to order a set of replacement of HP HP discs. maintains an inventory of recovery disks of replacement several years after the product was released. However, due to licensing restrictions, HP is able to provide these recovery disc for a limited time. If the computer is several years after its warranty period, HP isn't maybe able to provide replacement for your computer disks.

I tried with a model of 2008 HP (long out of warranty) and was able to locate filtering alternatives.

The process of media control was a little confused. The key is to start with the appropriate model number, then click on software and driver downloads, as shown here:

On the next page, you are prompted to select an operating system. The support link to recovery in the results list is available only if you select the version of Windows that your computer initially comes with. If you do not see a section "Recovery media", HP suggest "to ensure that you are on the right model number page and select another operating system." It worked for me.

Interestingly, the last section on the page is titled "finding of the recovery disks from other Web sites. It contains a warning at the top in bold: try all other options in the paper support before attempting to order recovery disks at outside HP.

If HP is further providing the recovery disc for your computer model and is no longer possible to create a recovery disk, you may be able to find a solution outside of HP.

Popular online auction sites and providers of computer parts may have a part in stock original recovery disk. However, be cautious and aware of the risks when buying from a source outside of HP recovery disks. Beware of sites that offer recovery solutions when they are not affiliated with HP.

Even if HP could not have a recovery disc available for purchase of value, search the part HP command Web site to find recovery kit part number that corresponds to your computer. Once you find the part number of the recovery disc, use the number in your search for best results.

It's actually good advice. If you can find a part number, you may be able to find records of replacement from a legitimate outside vendor that specializes in parts for the models of the manufacturer of your PC.

  • Why my blu - ray player can't access the contents of third party internet?

I've owned my reader blu - ray Sony BDP-S580 for about a year and a half and have had no problems with it. A few days ago I noticed that it would link is no longer to third parties including Netflix, Youtube, and Amazon Instant Video internet content. I connected wireless and thought I just needed to recycle my router and the modem (I have a modem from Time Warner Cable and a Linksys Wireless G router). I tried several times, but it made no difference. Whenever I try to start, Netflix, Pandora, Youtube, etc it is unable to connect to each time. I noticed that the player can always connect to Gracenote. I can access Web sites using the integrated in the web browser. I can also stream videos to my PC blu - ray player using the Windows Media Player server. It's just the video and music internet services that do not work.

In recent days I've done everything I can think of to fix it, but nothing worked. I tried the modem and the router of recycling at least 20 times. I tried to use the wired facility rather by connecting the drive blu - ray directly to my router by an ethernet cable. I have the router configured so that it's not requre the use of Wi - fi protected setup, but I even tried to set the blu - ray player using WPA configuration just in case. I changed the IP address on my router. I reset all the settings of the blu - ray player to factory default settings. I also tried to do a power reset the player. I tried to use "personal information Initialize' who have

erases all personal data (including all content of third of the unit). None of the above worked.

I also want to mention that none of my other wireless devices have problems connecting to the internet. In addition, the blu - ray player is about a foot away from my router for the intensity of the signal is not a problem. My router is configured to allow up to 50 devices to connect to it and there are currently only 7 devices that use the connection Wireless (including my roommate). My internet connection speed is 54 Mbit/s, so I don't think speed is the question. The blu - ray player said that the RANDOM connection and internet access are correct. The blu - ray player network connection diagnostic tool says that network connections are correct. My firmware is updated and the player is registered with Aurélien Live Essentials.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having the same problem.  Player has worked wonderfully for the moment I got it almost a year.  He began to do last night.  Rebound, the speed of the network, reset the player to the factory and let it sit unplugged for 15 minutes.  It connects to the network and access to claims that it has internet and connection LINK, but the status of connection to the server provisionsing failed.  Streaming from other LAN devices work, the Web browser works, none of the work of third party services.

Where are you located, and who is your ISP?  I'm in Central Virginia on Shentel.  Nothing has changed from hardware wise. The modem is Motorola Surfboard SB6141.  It's a modem ONLY... no router functionality.
