Satellite L855 - 14 H - green texture while playing games

Hello!
First of all, I want to apologize for my bad English skills, because I am from Latvia.
Allright, enough small talk - so I bought the new computer L855 - 14H. It came without OS, so I installed Windows 7 Ultimate x 64. Everything was fine until I tried to play games - I have lived, that I can not play, because I get this 'green texture corruption' after 3-5 minutes of play. Screen everything freezes and I can't do anything. I spent 3 days trying to get this thing done.

I was installing, reinstalling video card and the same OS. I'm stuck and I don't know what to do next.
Please help me!
I'm really desperate!

It is not easy to say why this is happening.
Have you installed the Toshiba download page display driver?
When you watch DVDs or videos is everything is OK?

This happens to you when you play all the games or simply with a certain game?
Is machine hot enough when this happens?

  • Satellite C855-1U7 - activity strange fan while playing games

    Hello

I played fifa14 for a long time, my laptop had the necessarily system requirements to play and my bios is the last, often my fan started working for many, up to 85% and 74ºC cpu temperature, it is normal because of the game, but in some time the fan stops and stops again and restart, restarts again until the game begins to become slowly.

I already have the game of repair and find viruses, but nothing wrong.

Pc health monitor indicates that everything is ok with cpu, I also have an external cooler with 2 fans.

Can someone help me with this?

    Thank you to

    Satellite C855-1U7

    Hello
Fan activity depends on the temperature inside the laptop.
But of course the activity described fan (, also, on, off) seems really odd to me.
However, there are not a lot of options that could be controlled.

First of all the details of fan activity and the information is stored in the table fan. Table fan is part of the BIOS.
You could try the BIOS to the default settings and you might check if BIOS can be updated using the new version of BIOS (if available).

I think you can also try to reduce the CPU performance changing settings in the Windows power options.

I m wondering why you use external cooling pad?
It is essential for cooling and the laptop overheating without the use of this external cooling pad?

  • Satellite A500-17 X restarts all by playing games

    Hi all
I've had my toshiba satellite a500-17 x for about two years, I bought to play Starcraft and world of warcraft. Since I got it I had a problem with it. While playing games it would suddenly reboot the laptop. I contacted customer support and has it been reduced to see if they can find out what was wrong with her. They said that it was fine and it must be the games software that was causing the problem. (I don't think that this is the problem because I reinstalled all the software and the problem persisted)

I felt they were trying to bluff me with this answer. They did not have an inspection into debt to try to resolve the problem or I thought that the model itself was wrong.

In any case, I wanted to say that the laptop can sometimes play fine for hours, but other days it will crash repeatedly.

I just want to point something; my graphics driver is updated. My vents are quite clear. The temperature is stable. I put the maximum power management. I play with a battery and the laptop is plugged. This happened also to a cold start.

During the restart I don't give me any warning. The laptop turns just stop (no beeps, no blue screen) and restarts.

I've never posted here before, and I would really appreciate your help.

I know that this has been a problem in the past with this model that I searched the forums for solutions, but I can't find one.

If you know a solution, I would be very grateful.
    Thank you

    Hello

I fear that you will not be able to find a quick fix here Mr. all that you have done is just and you use your laptop on the right way.
Have you noticed this problem while using laptop for daily activities or that comes into play only? Is original recovery image Toshiba preinstalled on your laptop or use clean install of the OS?
    >... I just want to point something; my graphics driver is up to date
What it means? Using the Toshiba download page display driver or you have installed the driver on the graphics card manufacturer page?

  • Qosmio X 300-13 L - display shuts down while playing games

    Hey guys,.

I really hope you can help me with my problem. I had a problem with my video card so I sent to an ASP called RTS in Germany. They corrected this problem, but after I got my laptop, a new problem appeard.

While playing games, the screen turns black, but everything else works still for about a minute then the system stops. I tried to reset the settings of the BIOS, read in many forums, but nothing helps so far. The problem appreas often during the game World of Warcraft, but since yesterday, it seems less often while playing Leauge of Legends. It is unpossible to use the Qosmio to play with this problem, because I can't recognize any model in this :( I went 2 months of Vista to Windows 7 and the problem appeard only on Windows 7.

If you need more information or something, tell me and I'll give them to you as soon as possible...

    Thank you!

    Hi byakuya.

If the problem appears only on Windows7 there must be a problem with your installation of Windows 7. Maybe you use the old drivers or wrong or a software causes this problem.

The more interesting point right now is your display driver. 3rd display driver part of Nvidia directly don't have protection against overheating and can cause problems. In my opinion, you must install the driver Toshiba last and official version. It should work I hope

  • Dungeon of network stopping while playing games on facebook

While playing games on FB my games stop always wjth a message saying that the system does sometimes screen goes out.

    Hello Gwendolyn,.

I'd say it's a problem similar to what you live by looking at this thread:
It is also a very useful article for troubleshooting internet connection problems:
  • shutdown of PC while playing games

shutdown of PC while playing games, my os: windows xp sp2

The most common cause of shutdown of the PC under load is overheating, and which is usually caused by lack of air circulation.
Assuming it's a desktop PC and not a laptop, remove the side of the case and look for the sheep of dust, pet hair, lint, etc. on the inside. Special attention for the vents, fans and heat sinks on the motherboard, processor and graphics card. An old toothbrush soft to loosen and a can of air spray (or a small vacuum cleaner, if you're very careful), likes to get rid of it.
If it is a laptop, remove all the panels that are loose (as for the areas of RAM and HARD drive) and blow through it to air canned to remove any deposit.

  • Screen stops working while playing games

I have a HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook, windows 7 64 bit operating system.

I got 2 years in July.  In recent weeks while playing games the screen stops working.  You can hear the game still in progress but nothing on the screen.  I then have to turn off then to let some time before reboting.

I played the game for over a year, so it's not the game that is the problem.  It becomes warm, but I have always used a pc fan sub to help keep cool.

I just tried the HP tool to automatically search for updates, but it had not recommended.

Is it a hardware problem or software?  What can I do to stop what is happening?

I bought an extended warranty, but I need if I can fix it or whether it should go to a technician (if nothing is physically wrong, they'll charge me).

Hi, do not mount the jinxed shadow xpress, your laptop almost 2 years, so just get a few canned-salvation-air compressed @ any computer store or bigbox and point the noozle @ and the events of the portable breath totally clean dust od and ctut-rabbits, make sure u opens the CD drawer, which will be the cpu and the gpu to time simple down to 10 c. , huh? yahayah ~!

  • Shutdown A200 satellite while playing games

I have a satellite A200, that is around the age of 6 months.
Yesterday while playing a game, it's just instantly shutdown.
He did a couple of times now. The upper left side is very hot as below. Thinking that it is an overheating problem?

Checked the CPU usage while playing and does not seem to be unusually high.
Is used on the desktop with appropriate around her space
Laptop of not old but works all day, but is stopped from one day to the next. Surely the heaksink would not be already clogged?
Runs with no battery, just on the sector to extend battery life when using at home.

Only happens while the game paying, also monitor is set to increase the size of the screen.
Still under warranty but don't really want to have taken stuff back because I moved to remote outback and am not near a large city, as well as if they test everything by running do not game, they'll probably just say it's very good.

Will try and blow up the heatsink without taking the case anyway to see if that helps. Any other ideas?

    Thank you

    I agree with Akuma.
It s certainly one overheating and cela occurs because the internal temperature is too high. All internal devices such as CPU, GPU, are running with a yield maximum all in game and produce high heat dissipation. This increases the temperature and leads to overheating.
I think your work cooling of modules with a maximum yield don t because they are blocked.
Please check if the dust and debris affect the cooling fans and if necessary use the jet of compressed air to clean these fans.

I think this should help to prevent the notebook from overheating more specific questions.

Can you please tell us what drivers have updated you and why? What was wrong with the old drivers?

When you start your next portable speakers test time using preinstalled Toshiba diagnostic tool and post the result here.

What about the temperature of the laptop. 80 c is high temperature but still not critical, and if your mobile phone is placed correctly on the desktop and the cooling fans are not blocked I think you can continue to play the games.
Before the games close all unnecessary applications and uses laptop computer on power plan to high performance.

  • Satellite A500-17 x reboot while playing games

    Hello
I got this laptop for Christmas and have recently bought the games through steam, it is then when I got to play Call of Duty 4 as the laptop just randomly rebooted itself. At the beginning I thought he must of overheating, but then it was not hot at all and has only been activated. Then I thought it could have been the game conflicted with the computer, so I tried other games such as Counterstrike: Source, no luck it restarted again at random. Ive played for hours without him turning off then the other times to a few minutes. The laptop is allowed when im just surfing the internet etc., but restarts when you play games. I read other forums expressing the same problem, but have not yet found a solution. I updated the display on the site of Toshiba drivers, NVIDIA, but still does not.

    Please help :)

    Hello

I have no exact solution for it, but I have an idea.
All these problems occur just playing games to Win 7 preinstalled OS and this does not happen with all games... only ceratain games...

The games were released before the days of Win 7
It's just a guess, but it might be possible that there is a compatibility problem between Win 7 and a FEW games.
It would be very interesting to know if it would happen running and Win XP

What do you think about this?

    I would appreciate your help...

    Hello

    Follow the steps mentioned below.

    Step 1:

I suggest you to update your display drivers, you can visit the manufacturer's website and download the latest drivers and install.

I would like you to put your computer in a clean boot State in order to determine what software of third part is causing the problem to occur. Clean boot helps to eliminate third party software conflicts
While playing the games mentioned above.

Note: Follow step 7 to restart your computer in normal state after finding the problem causing softwares.
