  I think I need a new battery for my Satellite Pro M30. When the battery is fully charged, it will be only for a few minutes. The light comes on when connected to AC so I know that it charges.

  I recently bought an external hard drive with eSata. I spent money on eSata because my laptop Satellite A300-1MX had an eSata port.
  Yesterday, I tested eSata outside, and the transfer speed is slower than normal USB 2.0. I tried to contact the hard drive company and they told me to update my eSata drivers.
  I tried searching eSata drivers for my laptop on google and on the toshiba site, but could not find.

  I installed a game (EVE online) and it works as it should; However when I use alt - tab, the game crashes.

  Please remember you have laptop and not of office. What you have done is just and it will help with the office, but on laptops, the situation is very different.

  Unfortunately, your laptop is not Vista support and you will not be able to find the official drivers on Toshiba download page. All you can do is find the drivers (if available) on the manufacturers of hardware technical support site.

  Then, find service center and ask for a for your model of laptop recovery disk. Guys can order one for you and say how much it would cost ;)

  It's very old portable machine and I'm afraid that you would not be able to order the recovery for this laptop m disk.
  You will need to install the Windows operating system using a disc of Microsoft.

  On the European driver Toshiba page, you will be able to find the drivers and software for this laptop.
  You must choose Archive product Type, because the old drivers are placed in the archives.

  I checked the Web from Toshiba site and there are many models of Satellite A300 which A300 model you have exactly?

  Some models are supported 64-bit Windows, then maybe you should choose an another A300 models because they are similar, in my opinion. So try it and post your result. The Vista drivers are working on Windows 7.

  Windows 7 is pre-installed on this laptop and Win 7 is much better than Vista.

  However, if you use Vista (but I put t know why someone should prefer Vista Win7) and then drivers can be collected manually.
