  Open windows control panel, open programs and features, make entry for HP SimplePass right click and select uninstall.

  When this has completed, restart the laptop.

  When windows has reloaded, download the version of HP SimplePass on the following link and save it in your downloads folder.

  Once the download is complete, open your downloads folder, right click on the installer SimplePass and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.

  Once again, when this has completed, restart the laptop.

  When windows has reloaded, open windows control panel and on the top right, next to the display by: select "large icons".  The new layout, select the HP SimplePass entry and see if you can set your footprint digital log - on.

  I just upgraded my PC hardware with a new motherboard, a new CPU and memory new but with no fresh install Windows 10 (same hard drives) and now CC does not work, it gives only a blank window with no software and no option to connect.
