Satellite P200 - XP 64 - bit drivers

Hello

Anyone know where to find the drivers XP 64 bit for the Toshiba Satellite P200-144.

Thank you

Hmm, I found only the readers of 64 bit Vista. :(
It seems the drivers XP 64 bit don t exist.
Therefore, you have to collect from different sources.

What you can do is to visit the sites of chip manufacturing and check if the 64-bit XP drivers are available

Good luck

    Hello
How do I switch my laptop to a 32-bit to 64-bit?

You can't improve it. What you need is the 64-bit installation disk and the new installation of the operating system.
I assume that the image of recovery for Satellite P200 is 32-bit only. Right?

  • Satellite P200-1DY: need XP drivers - LAN, SM bus and mass storage controller

I have a Satellite P200-1DY running XP - SP2. Where can I find the drivers for Ethernet, storage of buses and the mass of SM controller controller?

Are they 'hidden' in one of the drivers in one of the driver for XP Toshiba site list?

How can I identify what version of laptop I have: PSPB0, B3, B6, etc. ?

    Oh. I have already answered in the other thread you posted here in the forum;
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/message.jspa?MessageID=117816#117816

Seems you've discovered what series it is ;)

PS: the SM bus and mass storage controller are communities which are only compatible Vista and so drivers don't exist for the XP operating system

  • Bad SD card format has been reported on Satellite P200 - Vista 32 bit

The player card on my laptop seems to have stopped working. I checked the Device Manager and there is no warning in there. I reinstalled the Flashmedia driver just to be sure and rebooted but still no joy.

The map seems to be recognized to some extent as Windows Explorer shows 'SD Card (f)', but in the management of the computer-> Storage-> disk management F: appears as 23,78 GB of unallocated space... which is rather strange, because it's a 1 GB SD card.

The only major updates (other than Windows Update), I've done since Christmas (when I finally remember how the map works) was to install the update of the BIOS 2.50 a.,

Anyone know of any issued with this BIOS version and card readers?

Sorry buddy but I don t see any SD card problems!
The SD card has been recognized in windows (My Computer) and seems to work correctly. The size of the SD card seems to be reported wrong
    Is this good?

I recommend to format the SD card using the Toshiba tool (if pre-installed) and then you can check the size of SD card in the SD card properties.

  • Satellite A660 - 17 M - need drivers for Windows 7 32 bit

    Dear all

I just brought a new Toshiba Satellite A660 - 17 M in Egypt and I installed windows 7 32-bit on it to support my company work, but I could find the drivers for it on the website and many material options does not specially the extra package, please help me!
is it possible that I can install it or fix it?

    Hey Buddy,

The problem is that most of the new laptops don't support windows 7 64 bit because they come with 4 GB or more RAM capacity and 32-bit support only up to 3.2 GB.

I think you should search the drivers yourself. Just check out some similar Toshiba models, they support Windows 7 32 bit. As much as I know Satellite L500 provides 32-bit drivers Windows 7 and tools where you can also get value-added package for example.

If you find all the drivers of the comments would be great. :)

  • Re: Satellite P200-1FJ - LAN driver for Windows 7 64 bit

Can someone help me with the LAN driver for Satellite P200-1FJ? I have Windows 7 64 bit, when I ask for this driver in the toshiba site, reed "Sorry we couldn't find drivers corresponding to your search criteria."

    Hi legiadb,

The drivers, you can download here:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download drivers

As you've probably seen, there is no 64-bit Windows 7 driver available, so I recommend you test a 64 bit Vista driver.
    It works on Windows 7?

Solution check the Realtek page directly ;)

  • Impossible to install a Vista clean 64 bit on Satellite P200-1I6

    Hello

I have the Toshiba Satellite P200-1I6. I've taken over product DVD that works, but I want to do a clean install of Vista 64 bit OS but
My toshiba do but not any version of Vista - only Toshiba product recovery DVD.

Someone knows how to fix this?

Have you installed or included the SATA driver?

The new laptops are equipped with a SATA controller and this is why you would need to include the SATA drivers that would recognize the HARD drive correctly and would help to insatall the Windows operating system!

  • Is satellite P200 - 1C2 (PSPB6E) 64-bit Windows 7 compatible?

    Hey guys,.

    I got a question here:

I tried to find the drivers for my Satellite P200 PSPB6E and I found almost everything, but there is no PPV for the 64 bit version of Windows 7...
I tried the the satellite P500 series VAP and it works more or less, but the FN-Hotkey button bring up flash cards! (it's my major problem, so if I could solve this one, what follows is not so important)

So my question is, is it possible that Toshiba will provide a PPV for Win 7 64 bit or is more than portable just for old and is not compatible?
Or y at - it another way to get these drivers I need for those funktions?

    Thank you guys!

    Welcome,
    Rough

As you know Windows 7 is already a lot of time on the market and if Toshiba has no Win7 64 bit stuff has offered so far I don't think it will happen in the future.

What you have done is just. You can try one last thing, find utility support Flash Cards for another laptop model and try to install it on your Satellite P200.
I'm not sure this will help, but you can try it.

Also check the settings of flash cards and enable the option allow the mouse to show the cards. Perhaps this option will help you see flash cards using the mouse pointer.

  • Need drivers for Windows 7 x 64 for Satellite P200 (PSPB6E-1C501FGR)

Need drivers for Windows 7 x 64 for Satellite

    I have a few questions.

I've got Satellite P200 (PSPB6E-1C501FGR) and I was wondering is it possible to install 64 bit Windows 7 on this computer and when windows 7 x 64 drivers coming for download?
For HD DVD player, card reader, camera and other drivers and programs we work on my laptop.

    Hey Buddy,

At first please check this document: http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/TSB9902P50000R01.htm

Here you can see the Satellite P200 is official not Windows 7 supported and you will have to collect the drivers yourself and perhaps on external Web sites too.

What can you do now? I recommend you to install the Windows Vista drivers. Most of them are also work on Windows 7.

  • Satellite P200 - need the drivers of SD card and Win7 Tochpad player

    Hello everyone,

I own a Satellite P200-1E9 PSPB3E and installed Windows 7 Professional 32 bit. All right, but I have 2 small driver problems.

First: my touchpad works, but I can't scroll the text or on the internet! Where can I get the driver for the touchpad? Should which driver I use? I have to search for a driver, but can not find!
Second: my SD card reader does not work. No drivers on the Toshiba homepage!

I hope you can help, thx :-)

    Hi clemensgroh,

In your case, I'll try the Vista drivers. I did the same and they worked for me. You can download the Toshiba site:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download drivers

There you can get the Flash Media Driver and Touchpad driver. :)

  • Satellite P200 - 1 K 9: can I put the Vista 64-bit.

    Hello

I was wondering if my p200 - 1 k 9 can be upgraded to the 64-bit version of Vista. I was told it will improve performance, but have been unable to find anywhere on the net, if I can indeed be upgraded or if there is no significant increase in performance to justify the cost.

I use my pc mainly for photo and video editing in Adobe production studio suite.

Thanks for your answers in advance
    Richard

    Hello

Why not??? Satellite P200 - 1 K 9 belongs to the series of PSPB6E and according to the page of Toshiba Europe, all Vista 64-bit drivers are available.

But I don't think you will see a performance gain by using a 64-bit version of Vista.
To be honest, I would Setup not 64-bit because of the compatibility problems with some 3rd party applications.

I have no experience with Vista 64 bit, but with XP 64 bit version and I can tell you that I had a lot of problems with my 3rd software because it was designed for 32 bit OS.

But finally it s your own decision

  • Satellite P200 - 17 c: graphic XP seems to be running a bit lazy

    Hi all

    I just bought a Satellite P200 - 17 c.
I put to the top of my dual boot with Vista and XP (it's hard to REALLLLY), everything seems to be almost OK, but... The graphics in XP seems to work a bit lazy when you scroll a window in a browser, it seems 'refresh' in blocks - it does not move to the right. If I go to device under other devices Manager, there are two things for which there is no driver installed, it said: VGA controller, the other says: unknown device!

It is true that I have not istalled the drivers ATI still... But it's because the only place where I can find to get them for XP is the support area of Toshiba, the file is 162 MB (not big), but it is downloading at a slow pace, even though I have a fast connection, I don't even know if it will work?

I tried some things on the ATI site directly, although I tried to install the drivers for the ATI HD2400 graphics card that the machine has, during installation it says that he could not continue because it was not any compatible hardware connected...

My download area of Toshiba has already hurt it once, which means that I have to restart it.

Have no light they can shine on this issue. If anyone has the driver downloaded already and fancy stick on mega upload or something, it'll be fun? !!!

    Suggestion of ideas welcome!

    Hello

I was very curious about the driver on Toshiba support page. You're right about the file. It is approximately 160 MB and I needed 20 minutes to download but download has been successfully and I do not see any problem that you can not do the same thing.

Extract the file and simply use setup.exe to start the installation of the driver.

Any suggestion or help? I would be very grateful!

    Hi Dalibor

At the present time for computers laptops European drivers of Windows XP Home edition are not available. I checked the support page and there is no drivers. Only thing you can do is to try to find drivers Windows XP Home edition on the support page equipment manufacturers.

I recommend you wait a bit. I A200 and still wait for drivers of Windows XP Home edition.

  • Satellite P200 - 1 8 - where to get drivers & color monitor question

    He is my grandson computer.
He is 5 years old and the operating system is Windows Home Premium 64-bit.

Following a recent accident, we decided to reload Windows.
We seem to have lost our drivers Toshiba - can be someone please point me in the right direction?

Also the colors of funds went beserk - they resemble the light that shines through the oily water.
They seem OK when the programs are executed, so we do not believe his material.
The only driver for the monitor is shown as a M/Soft generic monitor.

If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you very much!

I guess all your laptop problems appearing after the Windows has been installed, would resolve install the correct drivers.
Liam says, you can find all the drivers on the Toshiba UE driver page.

Here you must choose: Archive-> P-> Satellite P200 series Satellite.

Installing the display driver should fix your problem of color too.

  • Impossible to update the graphics drivers Satellite P200

    Hello

I recently bought a Satellite P200 (PSPB3E), running under Windows Vista 32-bit. The graphics driver is an Intel 965 Express Chipset. Vista indicates that there is an updated driver available that he downloaded from the Intel Web site.

When I try the throw but I get the message that the driver cannot be installed because it has not been validated for this computer...

Not sure where this goes wrong?

My second question is whether or not this chipset supports Shader Model 2.0 I'm running some games which requires that, for optimal rendering.

Thanks in advance for your answer!

    Best regards, your

The unit is known, to me, the unit was equipped with the Intel GM965 graphics card.
But buddy note; the chart 3 sites of third party drivers are not certified, and therefore it of not possible or desirable to install these drivers.

Graphics drivers of Toshiba supports a GPU overheating protection. Drivers non-Toshiba don t support this characteristic and, therefore, it of not possible to install these drivers on the easy way.

So you should always use the graphics drivers for Toshiba because 3rd third-party drivers can influence the system of books and equipment
