Satellite T130-11u - problem Bluetooth Win 7 64 bit

Hi, also got a new T130-11u with windows 7 64 x

I have a problem with bluetooth.
After that I installed 7.10 bluetooth stack. (new manager) I can't conect any device on my laptop.
The esteem devices Manager starts the instalation and it displays an error indicating the DETECTION OF SERVICE FAILED.
The same goes for dfferetnt bluetooth mouse or same conecting to mobile phones!

I tried to download the different bluetooth Manager, but it's the only one who can install drivers.
If I uninstall the Manager, I have also uninstall the drivers, and Device Manager does not recognize the missing bluetooth. !!! WTF!
Then. Help, please...

After installing the last stack of BT have you activated BT module properly?
I use BT on two Toshiba laptops and I can say that the principle is always the same so I don't think on your T130 is some difference.
Move the WLAN switch to position ON and use the FN + F8 key combination to activate the BT module, and you should be able to connect to your mobile phone. If necessary, create new connectivity.

Is symbol of BT in the notification area red or blue when you get this error DETECTION OF service failed?

    Hello

Perhaps this 3rd party application is not compatible and that is the reason why this happens
But first, you should check if the Bluetooth is always enabled

In addition, you should check if this issue happen after installation of the new BT stack

    Hello

That s really strange and I've never heard t such a question. Since I have my laptop the webcam still works correctly.

Anyway, in your case I would try reinstalling the webcam on the Toshiba site drive:

  • Satellite P300-133 - problem installing Win Xp

    Hello

I have a problem installing win xp to Satellite p300-133.
To resolve this problem, I have tried the solutions:
switch to ahci mode in bios and incorporating storage drivers compatibility intel to the installation cd xp with nlite, but none of them solved the problem.

Laptop computer starts from the cd of xp and xp installation says "program Setup inspects your hardware configuration" and then a blank black screen comes.
After that, the installation does nothing and waits indefinitely.

Any ideas on this problem? Thank you.

    Hello

    > switch to compatibility ahci mode in the bios and the integration of the storage drivers Intel to xp with nlite installation cd, but none of them solved the problem.

    The two methods are good!
You can install the Win XP without drivers Intel Storage Manager (SATA drivers) but in this case the SATA mode must be on compatible mode.
    It works for sure!

The second method is the installation of the SATA drivers with nLite (drivers can be integrated into the new drive Win XP).

I put t understand why this doesn t work on your laptop. I think it's a problem with your Win XP drive. Contains this Win XP SP2 or SP3?
If this isn't the case, then you should use nLite to include min the Win XP SP2.

    Check it!

  • Can I switch to 8 GB of RAM on Satellite T130-11U?

    Hello world!

    I wonder if I can improve my T130-11U white with 2 x 4 GB?
Is there a way to make this possible?

    Thank you in advance.

PS: Sorry for my English, I'm french ^^

    Hello

It depends on the chipset you have.
The 8 GB of RAM are possible with the laptop that are released with the Intel GS45 chipset.
The 4 GB of RAM are possible with Intel GS40 chipset.

AFAIK the T130-11U supports GS40 chipset and so 8 GB of RAM are NOT possible in your case.

  • Problem installing WIN 7 64 bit on a Vostro V131 with SSD

    Hello everyone,

I just got my new Vostro V 131 with i5 2430 M, 4 GB RAM, HD3000 graphics and standard 500 GB HARD drive!

I already had a new OCZ Vertex 3 120 GB SSD and wanted to change it against the bed on the HARD drive.

I put a boot Win 7 64 bit with SP1 on a USB key and started the system. I am able to choose my language setting and then click the button "Start installation". And this is the mess: Setup starts, then then tells me I need to install other drivers. I can't choose anything else but a reader where these drivers. So I downloaded the SATA (AHCI) support drivers for my controller from DELL. They are recodnized by the system as drivers and checked, but I just go back to the window that says Add. the drivers are needed. The SSD is recognized in BIOS and SATA set to AHCI. I was able to format and part with the victory included tools/recovery Partition.

OK, I checked for allmost everything, which could cause such problems. SSD firmeware is updated, set BIOS to update (as mentioned, SSDS is shown correctly). I put the SSD drive on an external HARD drive enclosure, and it has been shown in Windows as a normal USB storage device.

Everything I checked was correct, the SSD is identified and shown correct instead of the Win7 installation menu.

I am at the end of my ideas and hope that one of you can help out me!

    Thank you so far...

I discovered what caused all this trouble ;-)

It was the USB port used! I don't know why, but the USB 3 port starts the installation and then want additional drivers! I swapped the USB 2 port and everything worked fine. ;-)

But thanks for the answer! Also, I don't have a DVD player ;-) If this would not have worked.

The last time I used an update of the hotfix (KB...) and it worked, but I can not find...

    Hello

I know that this question. I got it with my laptop after installing Windows XP.
The point is that Win XP SP2 does not contain the MS patches

You could resolve this install SP3 since SP3 contains fixes.

But the SP3 must be installed before installing the audio driver.
If you have installed the driver sound first then remove it from the Device Manager and then install SP3.

  • Satellite A300-1FP - webcam Chicony Win 7 64 bit - driver open failed

    Greetings

I recently did a clean install of Windows 7 64 bit on my Toshiba Satellite A300 1FP. I was surprised how well it went. The only thing missing was a Windows 7 for a Chicony Webcam driver. A number of people on these forums have suggested the use of 64 bit Vista driver. I tried several times to do this work. I deleted the entry of startup, deleted and resinstalled the driver from Device Manager, etc. Everything I found on these forums that I have tried.

None of this works. I keep getting the error message "failure of the Webcam driver open. Please restart camera or computer. »

Even with the 'camera' Wizard the Chicony camera is really terrible. A I know before I bought the machine, I would have chosen otherwise. Too late now. Without the wizard, you only have the driver supplied with Windows 7 that allows you to use the camera, but unless you have quality Hollywood light video is so dark it is almost unusable. The "camera assistant" had at least one dose of reminder for darker rooms.

I don't know why Toshiba never used this device in the first place.
There are a lot of people with this same exact problem seeking help in the forums for their system.

If anyone knows how to handle this I'd appreciate it really your. Toshiba, if you listen, what were you thinking?
