Satellite T230D falls down regularly

My T230D hangs regularly without apparent reason, three of the four times a day. It has been like this since I bought it. Sometimes when I have no programs running. It is currently running Windows 7 32-bit (Home Premium).
Can anyone suggest a solution? Perhaps a software update?

I suggest you to reinstall the Windows operating system.
If this software s related question, then new installation OS should help solve this problem.
Otherwise it s hardware problem, and in these cases it s necessary to study a little.

Laptop can freezes because of the RAM issues maybe you should check the RAM modules. Run a test using software Memtest86 +.
Maybe some error would be detected.
If this will not help to get more details, you should contact a Toshiba ASP. Maybe it's s or similar motherboard problem

    I had the opportunity to work a little with several laptops from Toshiba, and one of them was Satellite U300. After a brief check of the basic functions for laptop I can say with certainty that switch between mode and standby/hibernation mode work well and I didn't notice any problems.

    I really don't understand what is wrong with that, but please do:
    -If you want to switch to standby mode, choose option using the button START.
    -Wait a bit and I hope after a few seconds, the laptop will change automatically in standby mode (blinking amber LED)
    -Close the cover
    -Wait a moment opened the lid and press the power button

  • Lightroom CC 2015.* falls down regularly

    Since having spent 5 Lightroom-Lightroom CC 2015.* (instead of upgrading to LR6 autonomous) application crashes regularly on one of the following: switch to another image ('Development' module, not in mode 'Library'), resize, but sometimes with other actions like sharpening, dust collection, increase clarity etc. It does not crash every time but only after editing 3-5 pictures beforehand. In other words, never survives more than 5 images editing.

    I am observing this behavior on my two iMac (the two retina 5K, 27 ", end of 2014 to 4 GHz Intel Core i7 with 16 GB of RAM), one with an AMD Radeon R9 M295X 4096 MB GPU with an AMD Radeon R9 M290X 2048 MB. On both machines, Mac OS X 10.11.4 (El Capitan) works with the latest system and (now) Lightroom CC 2015.5.

    Accidents occur independently enabling or disabling the use of OpenGL GPU.

    I see accidents more often on the photos with big formats RAW (i.e. Nikon raw D800E edition) but also when editing the iPhone or raw photos from Panasonic FZ1000.

    I tried to work on the freshly created, LR catalogs too. No effect if.

    I also tried to wait the next LR update in recent months, but none of them helped. Only the first update somehow reduced the number of accidents.

    My current solution is to backup the catalogs as often as possible and manually restart LR after 2-3 photo editing (or to restart just after an accident). I also started to send auto accident reports in the hope that some poor soul across this forum is to see them and get alerted.

    As there is no optimal working condition, I ask the members of the forum and Adobe staff: what can I do else?

    For me, it looks like a Windows operating system problem.
    Maybe you should try a CCLeaner which cleans up the registry and other files on the HARD drive.
    You should also try to defragment the HARD drive.
    If no improvement is noticeable and Explorer windows would keep crashing, then a new installation of operating system is necessary.

    I have a Win XP based PC notebook Toshiba Satellite M70-340. Last week one - the problem I encounter is that fullscreen window/browser/e-mail, I opened rolls selection at the bottom. There are very small (in seconds) periods of time where behavior is not seen, but it appears again. If an e-mail window scrolls down and if I'm moving around the keyboard/mouse/scrollbar I'm impossible to do and scrolling lowers again.

    This is most likely a faulty keyboard.
    If the problem is in the physical keyboard, it will not help to simply attach an external.

    Could you try to disable graphics hardware acceleration? As this feature has been added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there are still some problems with some drivers/graphics cards.
