  Temperatures are ok and shouldn't t be the reason for this problem. But in my opinion, you should always clean the laptop with a jet of compressed air. This could blow the dust from the cooling fans and you don't have to disassemble the laptop. You can buy this spray of each computer store.

  But it would be interesting to know the outcome of the Memtest86. Have you tried this test doesn't show an error with RAM?

  I m afraid there is no alternative to reflash the BIOS to the traditional version of BIOS who can start the BIOS updated using an external USB drive and the floppy disk.

  The European driver Toshiba page contains only the BIOS Win-based that can be updated when the windows operating system. The traditional BIOS is not available for download.   You wrote that you can access the BIOS, but have you checked if the HARD drive is recognized properly? Perhaps because the computer cannot start HDD isn't recognized then you should check this.

  If the HARD drive is recognized, I would try a Toshiba Recovery disk recovery facility. It seems that Windows isn't able to start and if you reinstall the whole system should help get rid me of this. Go to the start menu and select the CD/DVD drive as a boot device.

  I have Toshiba A200-28 s, bought in the summer 2008 the Russia.
