Save a batch of images to multiple jpg formats

I'm used to be able to use Dr. Brown's Image Processor Pro to take a lot .psd or .tiff to images and save them in several resolutions on various media. For example, I could take 10 .psd files and save a copy of each of 12 with no resize jpg quality and at the same time save another copy to quality resized 8 to 600px. Now with PS CC; Bridge CC, etc. Dr. Brown will not work and the image in Bridge processor option will only allow me the option to save in a quality of jpg and then another type of file, a total the .psd or the .tiff.

Is there a way I can find my jpg several economic option.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Ben

I try to use Photoshop actions to the script on the image of a thousand in PAT files files. I'm running a problem with actions when it comes to defining a model. The program naturally selects the file name as the name of the template, when do it manually, but when I do this while recording a Photoshop action saves the file name used in the creation of the action and then uses this file for all models of sripted name. Is it possible to change this setting to select the name of the current file instead?

If there is no photographers out there.  I would also like to know if you save as .tif for them.  I wasn't sure that customers could get files printed everywhere .tif that they wanted (as they can with jpg).  Let me know how save you for them.

The jpg file sizes can vary significantly - depending on the topic and you choose the quality setting.

Flat images, like a snowy on a cloudy day, landscape will compress much more than an animated image, as trees, sunny with lots of details.

When you save a jpg file, you can choose quality on a scale between 0 a 12, where 12 gives the highest quality and the least compression.

You will see the size of the file in the dialog box options Jpg, and you can also preview to see how the jpg will look.

Having said that, the file size is not really an indicator of the quality or resolution - dimensions in pixels are.

But if the file will print, use a high quality setting, like 10 or 12.

I'm working on a project that requires photos to be sent by electronic mail.  Until today, there has been no problem to do so.  I would right click and it would save the picture with the appropriate title in jpg format, I'd need just to choose the place to send it.  Today it is give me without a title as the subject heading and will not save as a bitmap file, it gives me the ability to change to any other type of jpg file IE.

  • How do you apply for a batch of images ICC color profiles?

    Hello world

My apologies if the answer to my question has already been posted somewhere, but I was not able to find it. I am learning to use Photoshop CC 2015. I'm currently having a hard time trying to learn how to apply a measure ICC profile to multiple pictures at once. I can apply the color profile for them one at a time, without problem, but I can't for the life of me work how to apply the same profile to a batch of images, without their make one at a time.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Open the first file.

Open the Actions panel and create a new action. Name it. Start recording, there is a button at the bottom of the Panel, which turns red.

Do whatever you need to do. In this case, it is mainly Edit > assign profile. I would recommend when you save the result on a copy to a specified folder, what you can do here as the next step (there are other ways to handle this, but this is something different, better suited to the Photoshop forum).

Close the original without saving the changes. You do want to overwrite your originals.

    Stop recording.

Open Bridge, select the files you want. Tools > Photoshop > batch processing. Choose your action and go.

Now, I don't want to have an opinion on the procedure itself, except to point out that the raw file needs a point rendered in a RGB file before the icc profile can be generated. I'm not sold on the accuracy of the present, but whatever it is. I always recommend that you keep your files in a standard color space.

  • Can we change the default image in JPG format in windows 7

    Hi all

Our problem is that many users make a screenshot and paste it into an email.

Our standard company is in outlook rich text format, and so if a user paste a screenshot in the mail it will be great because it's a PNG image.

I try to educate our users to save screenshots in jpg format and more attached to the post, but I would like to ask, if it is a solution to change the default png to jpg format?

    Thanks for your replies!

    Respect,

    Akos

    Hi Akos,

There is not really a way taken in charge for you to achieve this goal. However, there may be a 3rd party option that would only achieve this by changing the registry values in Windows.

However keep in mind that using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

Poster does not use images of logo chosen DPI, image to the DPI of the screen display, so now the web logo will be different sizes.  The size depends on the device, the user uses to display your logo.  On my desktop screen low resolution that has a resolution dpi 84, your logo will be 70/84 = 0.8333 ", on my other desktop appear 70/100 = 0.7' ' on my surface pro 3 70/216 = 0,324" and on my samsung galaxy tab 70/359 = 0,194' "

  • Why can't I save is more edited images as jpeg in CS6 file?

What save dialog box appears, under saving Options and next to layers there is a yellow triangle with an exclamation point indicating the layers are not saved. My images are 72 dpi, I changed the resolution of the screen and no results. I value RGB and 8-bit/channel image. Someone else has had this experience? (It saves fine in psd, however). Help!

OK, you need to know what you want to do with your image. For example, if it is for the web, the best way to save in jpg format is...  File-save for Web, then you will see a box with four pages, you can choose: Original which is going to be your original image,... Optimized which is a lower quality version. 2 and 4.

When you click on tab 4 - Up you see your original image in the upper left corner, as you have your image in 3 different windows with different size and speed. You can click on each window and inside the screening at the top right, choose JPEG. and you can change the quality from low to high, or drag the slider quality of different quality.

NOTE: when you do file - save for Web, you will get a flatten Image... you will lose your layers.

It is always best if you pull your higher Res images, such as 240, or 300 dpi and later re - sample the image of inferior quality for the web. If you have the original in higher Res image, first of all, you should go to the size of the Image for example height 1200 Pixel in the Image. If you go ahead and save the file to the web, then you don't need to change the resolution. don't forget to sharpen your image when you re - sample

  • Batch / drop Imaging into separate folders.

    Hi guys,.

I'm after some advice with some batch processing images. I recently finished a catalogue with 700 + images and I would like to create an index for later use.

I would like to have an action that allows me to record a versatile image of dispatch by e-mail to clients, but also a thumbnail image for invoices of the photo. What I normally do by making two separate actions for both, but there is a problem with the categories of types of images.

In the catalog, the images are products and are thus related to a brand. I want to index the images in a folder-based brand and then use in folders separated for thumbnails and General.

So, essentially, the workflow would be something along the lines of

Create the new folder of brand / category

    Open a picture

    Resize general purpose

Save Image as... in brand > general use

    Resize to miniature

Save Image as... in brand > miniatures

    Close

Repeat for all the images in the category.

Create new folder for the new brand category

    Open a picture

    .... Etc etc.

Also, is there a way to select a resizing of an image by the term is longer / shorter in action / droplet? I know the Image Processor has this ability, but it seems strange, that there is not the capacity within an action.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, suggestions of work arounds etc etc...

Some of what you want to do could be done better using bridge, look at "Record to a hard drive" in the export Panel. It can process files much faster that you can in Photoshop.
