Save a file in PNG format

What happens to my ability to save a file in PNG format when I upgraded Photoshop CC?

You can use Save as to save the images in RGB, indexed color, grayscale, and Bitmap in PNG format.

If it is in CMYK mode, png is not an option.

  • Trying to save the file in pdf format and instead its projection upward as we just drop. Half of my files are beautiful and half are not. Why!

I am trying to save a file in pdf format. It appears in my folder as a file. I have a little need to do so. Registration of the same file with different names. Some work and some aren't.

All registration documents are called files. What determines its type is the file extension. If it goes to something else especially an extension that the file viewer does not recognize he can just say instead of his type of format file.

First thing to try is to verify that pdf is the extension (the characters after the last period) if there is no or an extension that you recognize, rename the file, and add the .pdf at the end of the name.

If the file is a true pdf file it will load now.

If she does not then of two things is true. The file is corrupted sense that it must be recreated. Or the file belongs to another application that is more installed on your computer.

Once Finally, scenario, the extension is correct and does not rename but still it says file instead of pdf.

In this case, like acrobat or Adobe reader software was uninstalled and deleted the associated file.

Even if the association can manually be fixed which is totally dependent on having a Mac or Windows computer, and you have not mentioned it or I forgot. You can just reinstall the program that you want the associated file. The installer will fix it for you.

On Windows computers, the file extension may be hidden. If you have a Windows system and don't know how to change extensions to the visible, let us know. I don't know if the Mac have a similar feature.

  • I want to save the files in tif format in windows 7, 64-bit operating system and Office 2010.

    Hi team, support

I'm using windows 7, 64-bit and Office 2010 operating system. I want to save web files(e-invoices) in .tif format.

Because the tif format is only way to download web files(e-invoices) in the download system.

Please tell us how can I save the files directly in tif like Window XP format.

He had no problem when I used Windows XP. I could save the files in tif through Microsoft Office Image Writer as a default format.

A tif file is simply an image

Office 2010 does not include Microsoft Office Image Writer, he made the MS featured xps document writer and send to OneNote (according to the version of office)

  • Error trying to write files in .png format

    Hi all

I'm stuck on a problem that I can't find a solution.  We receive impressions from client saved in PDF format and then save them as PNG file to import it into Excel.

Until this morning it was never a problem.  On the Windows 7 machine we allows you to do that, we are receiving an error message, see below.

    Capture.PNG

We can save the original PDF as any other type of file except as a PNG on this machine.

We tried the same process used on 2 other machines (identical machines, software versions and network locations) and it works fine, no errors.

All 3 machines are Windows 7 Professional 64 bit running Adobe Acrobat XI 11.0.09 Version

Thank you and all help is appreciated!

    Andy

Managed to make it work, if I changed "RGB color management" PNG settings off, rather than embed the profile.

    Parameters:

    Interlacing: no

    Adaptive Filter

    RGB: Off

    Grayscale: Off

    Color space: color: RGB

    Resolution 118,11 pixels/cm.

    See you soon,.

  • When I save a file in pdf format, colors appear evil in my Mail

I have a client who requires me to send art in pdf format. No problem, but since I have upgraded to CS6, the pdf file is displayed wrong in email when I insert it and when it is received on the other side. Some colors change.

I use Illustrator and I tried flattening of art (sometimes only some layers appear?), check the transparency, verification of the parameters of output during the process of "save under". Nothing works. If I send it as a jpg it's OK, but it cannot display the jpgs on his device (don't know why) so I'm stuck sending pdf files that look bad.

Can someone help me understand why this is happening and how to avoid it?

I use Mail as my email application and I have OS 10.7.4

    Thank you

Apple Mail uses the Apple own PDF Viewer, and it's... Well, let's be nice and say not really up to paragraph do not use for anything else that to check there is * something * in your mail. Then use the free Adobe Reader to view PDFS.

With Photoshop CS6 Extended when I go to save the image in jpeg format it displays in the file name.iff, if Save in png, it shows name.pxe file and save the file in pdf format it shows the file name.pcx. Your problem is typical of the CS6 recording overflows when CS5 plugins are loaded. Some plug-ins CS5 can be OK, but looks like you have one that is a problem.

Close the CS6, move that the old plugin of your CS6 folders, launch Photoshop, try to save. Who help me?

Check with the provider of plug-in for CS6 version.

  • Photoshop CS3 .png format not listed is not in the menu "save under" drop-down?

I looked everywhere on the internet and forums like this for a solution, but have not met one that works. I tried to install an update for 8 bit .png and replacing the file in .png format, completely and nothing works. I know not all updates are there for my Photoshop CS3 because I just had my lap top work and they had to add my CS3, so I think that if updates are necessary they would have done that. I've worked with programs like Photoshop for some time now, but I don't know much on its domestic workers (files, etc.) so I don't know what the problem is, and I really need this problem as soon as POSSIBLE. I'm working on the work and I need this .png format. I can't do without it and .png appears in the "Save For Web Devices", but I'm on trasnparency and there is not any justice in my images.

Please show the grabbing of the screen, but you have cut parts of your screen that are important to see.

I didn't show you to prove what you said, it's true.  I thought you.

It would be better to see the entire screen, including all the other parts of Photoshop current at the time you try to make your backup.  There are many indications on the screen that could help someone identify what goes wrong.  When you take the entire screen, try to ensure that the dialog box save as is not put in front of anything except the image.

And I almost hate to ask, but in the list of formats that you have shown in the screenshot of the dialog box save as you have shown, did you scroll down to see things in which showed?

  • How to file save (generate) directly in PDF format?

    Hello

I want to save my file after running directly in PDF format, it can possible?

We hear usually after a run all data are stored in taxt Formate file directly, but I want to save this data in in PDF Formate instead of the text file.

Here as an attachment I have attached my screenshot of my vi, at the end of the execution, all the information of the journal window are saved in text format but I want to (generate) save this file in PDF format directly.

You please guide me what what kind of changes I have to do to build my files directly to PDF format...

    Thank you in advance...

There is also this from carya.nl

There is a free version (which puts a reference to Carya on each page) or there is a professional edition that is paid (and probably does not have the reference).

I have downloaded, but have not yet used. But I'm about to in my last project.

  • How can I save my files for printing?

I can't find out how to save a file for printing. The file must be transferred to a company that prints your photos on glass (Fracture) they want the file between 16-20MB. Whenever I save it, it is too big. Of course, I want to be high resolution, so I put that at 300 DPI. (resampled to 72). Help, please.

I think that you will be very disappointed with the results if you use a 1867 x 1200 for this image.

When you resample an image, Photoshop has invent the missing pixels, and in this case, the majority of the pixels in the image will have to be invented.

If the image is from a digital camera, get your hands on the original, which is can be much larger.

According to the homepage of Fracture, they want a 6480 x 8460 image at 300ppi for your format.

300 DPI is probably overkill for this size, my guess is that 180 dpi might be enough.

In this case, the image must be 4320 x 5760, which is what would produce a 24 megapixels.

You might even get away with upsampling an image from a camera megapixels 15 or 16 years.

Ask what they think of the Fracture.

Regarding the 20 MB limit, save the file in jpg format, and then choose the highest quality that will not exceed 20 MB.

To get a better understanding of how how digital images work, take a look at this page: which is a digital image?

    ========================================
You're almost there... try the following steps...

Your work on the screen left click the "Snapshot"...

The screen 'save data such as' will launch and you can enter
a backup location and a file name for your project.

Left click on the Save"" button.

(OK... This is the step that you missed)

After having left clicked the button 'save'... your pointer turns into a
Cross + if you click left or made to drag a rectangle around the area you
want to save... When you release the mouse, the graph button
will be saved in .png format.
