Save as file formats error

With Photoshop CS6 Extended when I go to save the image in jpeg format it displays in the file name.iff, if Save in png, it shows name.pxe file and save the file in pdf format it shows the file name.pcx. All formats seem to show a different format. Any ideas why and how fix it. I did all the updates. On a mac as well.

Your problem is typical of the CS6 recording overflows when CS5 plugins are loaded. Some plug-ins CS5 can be OK, but looks like you have one that is a problem.

Close the CS6, move that the old plugin of your CS6 folders, launch Photoshop, try to save. Who help me?

Check with the provider of plug-in for CS6 version.

  • Save the file format - suddenly of problems

    Hi all

I've been using PSE9 on my iMac Intel (OS 10.5.8) for a few weeks, and yesterday I started having the following problems:

    (Full edit mode)

    (1) when you try the command "save under" after working on an image, I received a message saying that my account was not allowed to make changes, but there is only one account on this computer.

    (2) shift-command-S brings to the top of the window save slot, but no matter what format I choose, it remains .jpg! I tried on a couple of different pictures, the same results.

Initially, I was able to save in PSD format, when I moved the new file to a different location, which is instead to save the new file in the original folder, I copied on the desktop, but it doesn't now.

I opened the preferences of the PSE for saving files and checked concatenate files with extensions 'always' and 'OK', but when I return to the same panel preferred, she is forever, which is the default position. I wonder if it's the source of my problems.

    I tried:

Place the files preferably for DSP and organizer in the trash and the re-launch of PSE9.

Rampage of preference files, then by restarting the computer and restart PSE9.

    Uninstalled PES 6.

Uninstalled PES 9 and performed a reinstall from the CD. I could file save as a PSD for a day, now back to the same situation, always also receive an error message if I try to save a JPG file in the folder of origin for this image.

    What should I do next?

Yes. This is a known bug. Your options are in the trash the prefs once again and never, never, never open the saving files preferences panel again (just go there cause this), or to add the file extension in manually when recording. (The default position is Always, but simply opening the files preference saving assigns never.)

  • When opening .doc website link, FF adds .docx file extention & does not open in Word 2010, with incorrect file format error. Pls Help

I use Firefox v12 to open a hyperlink to a Web site that points to a door MS Word Document to download.

Then, we are asked to open the file with MS Word (default), which is our installed version of MS Word 2010.

Firefox then renames the file by adding a .docx file name for example filename.doc.docx. MS Word 2010 opens with the error "invalid file format", which is correct that Firefox has renamed.

Is there a fix or a workaround for this?

You can try to delete the mimeTypes.rdf file in the Firefox profile folder to reset all the actions file.

  • File format error video app

I rented a movie (the master) of my video application (Xbox), chose SD download, when I try to play, I get an error message: can't play, can't play because the file format of the elements is not supported, check out the store to see if the item is available here. When I select the game from the store I receive the same message. I uninstalled the app, restarted the Surface and reinstalled the app, the same result. Any ideas out there for this problem?

    Hello

I have a response - from Xbox support. They show the film I rented has not (according to their records) actually download, despite what was stated on my Surface. The format was so, in a sense not supported - it wasn't there at all.

  • studio mx unknown file format error

Help! I use the Flash of the suite Studio Mx Professional and I can't open a .fla file. He tells me that its in a "unknown file format".
But the file opens when I used Flash 8 in my school program. Please tell me that they design programs of series 8, so they were not retro-compatible with the Mx series! Restless... IM in right now so sorry. So if there is a fix or a simple solution that used to make me scream, please post!

Scream - you cannot open it.
You must go back to the Flash 8 and "Save as" in the lower version.
And if you think about it, is it not logical? Flash 8 can do many things that may not Flash MX 2004. How the old program should understand the new features?

What version of Premiere Elements you are using and on what computer operating system is running?

You cannot import a project file (.prel) in another.

    For now, generalize choice

    a. export your Timeline (your intro) content to a file saved on the hard drive of the computer. And then import that

file in new projects by using the new project add Media/files and folders. See publish + Share/computer/and the other

choices here to generate this file intro for later use in other projects.

    b. you can set up what is called a dummy projects - this is a project with nothing other than the intro file. And, at all times

you want to use the intro, you open one of these saved dummy projects and add your media sources.

A lot of things to discuss. Please fill in some details more and then we can refine the answer for your particular situation.

    Thank you.

How can I fix this error msg? your default printer must support a minimum resolution of 300 x 300 to use the shape tool. I am trying to save in PDF format.

When you have what you want to save the selected PDF file, make sure that you press properties, and set the resolution in the settings.  PDF files themselves have quality settings, (print quality, Web quality etc) then make sure that you have the right to a game if you plan to use the "print" function to save in PDF format.

  • "Unexpected file Format" Flash save corruption

    Hello.

We have recently upgraded to Windows 7 64-bit of Windows XP here at work, and since the upgrade, I discovered a very scary problem with Flash.

When you go to save one of my major projects, Adobe simply crashes often purely and simply, gel and displaying a standard error message.

"Adobe Flash CS5 has stopped working. A problem caused the blocking of the program works correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. "- with an option to"close the program ".

I hit close program, and Flash disappears. If I try and open again the same FLA file, I get the error message

    "Unexpected file format".

Unfortunately, it seems since Flash crashes in the middle of the economy, it is corrupting my FLA file. This is extremely worrying because it corrupts my entire source file.

I am lucky that I keep regular backups, otherwise I could have lost months of work instead of just today. In the meantime I copy and paste a new version of the file each time that I open the Flash, but it's a roll of the dice that next time, I have save if he will kill him or not.

    Here are my computer details:

OS: Windows 7 - recently improved 32-bit of Windows XP

    64-bit Intel Xeon X 5560 @ 2.80 Ghz

    4 GB of Ram

The version of Flash CS5 is 11.0.0.485

The FLA in question is 10 MB and contains large map files (gifs), a lot of small JPG as well as much of the code as well as the import of external classes. I tried to reproduce the problem on smaller files and have not been able to do.

I was wondering if it was a case of memory, but Flash seems to use about 450 mbs. About 40% of my total memory is free, according to the performance of the Task Manager.

Any ideas what might solve this problem?

Not an answer but a suggestion for Adobe:

If you could choose a location for the automatic recovery (which is programmed to save the recovery file in the same directory as the original file) + delete delete auto to the correct output of the program.

Even have it set to save in a place like 'my documents' on a local disk, would let you have a copy of your work that is X-minutes old.

  • Cannot open .mov file corrupt - error 2048 format not supported

    Hi all

I have an important file corrupt and I tried every way I can think to open, but to no avail...

Is anyone able to teach me how to fix these pieces?
I am really at my wits end and I am a beginner just to hex-editing @. @ better still, if you are able to take a look at this video for me...

  • Why DAQmx read 200714 error when you save the file?

In particular vi that I created, I have 3 analog inputs coming in and are graphically represented.  If I choose to save the information to a file, a dialog box appears and I can choose what to save it under.  If I take too long to save the file (aka about 8-10 seconds if the sample read rate is 500/s) then I get this error once the file has been saved:

Error-200714 occurred at .vi DAQmx Read (analog 1-d NChan DBL 1Samp)
    Possible reasons:
Acquisition stopped because the driver could not transfer the data from the device to the computer's memory rather quickly. This was due to limitations of the computer system.
Reduce your sample clock rate, the number of channels in the task, or the number of programs on your computer that is running simultaneously.

Why the DAQmx bed vi I have this problem when the vi has been idle for 10 seconds then I choose where to save the file?  How can I fix this error?

    Hi child of pre-school age,

I think your error might be caused by the read buffer overflow. my suggestions for you would be to either the following four ideas:

    1. stop the acquisition before writing the file. This should mean that the DAQmx Read function will no longer be reading and therefore does not generate an error.

    2. If you still want to read the data but also write data as well, I think you'd be best suited for use live TDMS. TDMS allows the user to stream to a reading of filewhilst.

    3. the configuration backup dialog box file before starting the acquisition. Download the user to enter all data in the file before you start to acquire.

    4. change the buffer to unlimited so that you have enough time to navigate the record window.

If you send your VI I can advise others

Let me know how you go,

  • How to save an image in different file formats

    Hello

I want to have a drop-down menu when the file dialog window opens so that I can choose in which format I want to save the file.

For example, do it in JPG, BMP or PNG. The way that works right now it saves on the name of the file in the format that I write. For example, if I write labview.png it will save in this format.

Therefore, if someone could help me find a way to save to save it in the type menu, it'll be great!

It was raised several times before. Can't do with the dialog file comes with LabVIEW. You must drive, or make a call to the OS API. You can also do with .NET if you are on Windows, as shown in the attached example.

  • "Word cannot complete the save due to a file permission error."

I have Windows XP.  Recently, this message appeared when I tried to save my Word documents: "Word cannot complete the save due to a file permission error."  I can always eventally the record via a temporary file, but it's very messy.  "A file permission error" - what on Earth is this?  And what should I do to get things to normal?     Ron Davis, Newcastle N.S.W..

When you press the F8 key and access the Safe Mode start screen, use the arrow keyboard keys to select "Safe Mode with networking" and press the Enter"" key.  A list of startup items you will see on the screen, but after all that, you will get a normal login screen (except the screen may seem bigger than normal and 'Safe Mode' can appear in the corners of the screen.  At this point, log in as any user with administrator privileges.  After successfully login, you should be able to right click on a folder or file and select "Properties".  When the Properties screen, you should have a 'Security' tab at the top.

Another approach is to use the command line command "cacls" to a normal startup that will show and allow you to set permissions on files and folders.  (Start-> Run-> "cmd") and then you can use the cacls command.  The Calc command syntax can be found here:

or you can type: cacls /?

"Cacls" allows to screw things easily and quite bad so if you can switch to the tab 'Security', which is the way to go.
