Is that the most recent Firefox 4 has the distinction of asking the user to save the tabs, windows, and their output?

    What version of the Audition, you are on?

    The last two versions have a feature called Auto Save (Edit/preferences/record automatic) which can be set to save all (both tracking data and data session) at pre-set intervals and in a place you can set - anything from the same session of cloud storage folder.  It's a long shot, but it might be useful to check if the feature is enabled on your system, and if so, where it stores things.

    Ryclark is straight on the difference between the form of wave and multitrack.  I now save all multitrack even if it will be a single track.  I also keep enabled AutoSave on - buy pure luck, he saved my bacon the first week I got it when a bolt of lightning nearby caused a wave of great power.
