SAVE AND EXIT THE PARTY
Hello
I have how I regret the update! (to 32.0.3)
Where is my 'save and exit' (at closure) option gone?
I followed all the advice on the forums to pick up this function... but nothing helps.
Yes, I can get the warning that I'm closing multiple tabs. (Thanks for telling me what I know, instead of offering something useful!)
To be precise on the subject: config... browser.showQuitWarning is set to true
browser.warnonquit is true browser.tabs.warnonclose is true
And in Tools/Options/general/start "show my windows and tabs from last time is selected.
What am I supposed to do?
If I go back to the last version will be the OPTION (to save a session OR let it lapse) IE "SAVE and EXIT" restore?
I have to stop in future updates
You will get the warning that "show my windows and tabs from last time" is selected as who will restore open tabs automatically, so you will not lose them.
To get this warning, you must select another parameter of start (home page or blank tab).

I load my homepage to Google & FF. Latest release asked me on 'save and exit '. Now she leaves everything and all my tabs are undervalued.
By design, your open windows and tabs will be saved so that you don't need to tell Firefox to save. Some exceptions would be:
- Closing a private browsing window
- If Firefox is set to clear the history at the stop
I don't know when the message was deleted, but I think it could have been a few versions ago. I don't remember having seen it myself...

Save and exit feature available in FF6, even after I adjusted the browser.showquitwarning
Firefox 4 and later versions Save the previous session automatically, so it is no longer need for the dialog box asking if you want to save the current session.
Use ' file > leave "or" Firefox > Exit "(Mac: ' Firefox > quit Firefox") If you want to restore multiple windows.
You can use ' history > restore previous Session ' to get the previous session at any time.
You may need to click the Firefox orange/gray button to see history.
There is also a button 'Restore previous Session' on the default on: Home home page.Another possibility is to use:
- Firefox/tools > Options > General > startup: "When Firefox starts": "show my windows and tabs from last time '.

Question
Why don't Firefox4 restore any sessions that were open at the time? Before the update, I've been invited either ('SAVE AND QUIT'), or even if it closed UNEXPECTEDLY (crash etc) it STILL restored everything. New version does not offer "save and exit".Now, Firefox always stores the old session which you can access from the history menu by selecting "restore previous Session."
If you always open the last set of tabs, another approach is the following:
- Click on the orange button Firefox, then select options to open the options window
- Go to the general Panel
- Change the setting "When Firefox starts" to "show my windows and tabs from last time '.

3.6 each time I closed the browser with multi tabs open that he would give me the possibility to save and exit. Then when I opened it the browser it would give me the possibility to open the previous session. I could also put bookmark all open tabs. All of these features seem to no longer be present in 4.0. If that's the case I'll be forced to uninstall and reinstall 3.6.
The new interface is the default on Windows Vista and Windows 7 only. To get it under Windows XP, you must hide the menu bar. Do, in the view menu, select Toolbars, then click on the entrance to the "Menu bar".
If you need to access the menus, you can press Alt or F10 to display temporarily.

Firefox doesn't save and exit, and aid does not tell you what settings to change!
When I go out Firefox he used to ask me if I wanted to save and exit. Since I upgraded to 4.0, it is no more. Now every time I have quit and restart, I need to set up my tabs again!
Firefox 4 saves the previous session automatically, so it is no longer necessary for the dialog box asking if you want to save the current session.
You can use "Firefox > history > restore previous Session" for the previous session.
There is also a button 'Restore previous Session' on the default on: Home home page.Another possibility is to use:
- Firefox (Tools) > Options > General > startup: "When Firefox starts": "show my windows and tabs from last time '.

original title: Windows Mail ate my file
I opened a word from Windows Mail document, changed using Word 2007, you press on save and close the document. Now I can not find where he saved. I tried the search function in Vista, but it can not find the file either. I tried to re - open the file in the email, but I just get the original version. Can anyone suggest where it might be?
Thank you very much
Eamonn
Once you open a Word attachment in an email, you must save it to your HARD drive until you make changes. If you do not, the changes are lost, but the original attachment is still with the e-mail.

Hi clarka14179614,
If you are referring to record and send after filling out a form, you can either use an Adobe Reader or Acrobat application.
Adobe Reader is a free service and you can install it here: Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

I currently have Firefox 4.0.1.
Record of the tabs was not removed from Firefox 4, but it works a little differently.
- By default, Firefox 4 will not ask to save tabs, but instead, it will automatically save your tabs on the output unless you're in private browsing mode. You can restore the next time by:
- by clicking on the Firefox button > history > "restore previous Session ', or
- type of Subject: House in the URL bar and press the Enter key, then press the button "restore previous Session."
- See: https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Firefox%20does%20not%20ask%20to%20save%20tabs%20and%20windows%20on%20exit

To display the message "save tabs and exit" when closing multiple tabs, you can do the following:
- Type of topic: config in the URL/address bar and press the Enter key
- Accept the warning message (promise to be careful)
- Open the preferences/list page
- Filter = browser.tabs.warnOnClose
- If its value is set to false, double-click top (in the lower panel) to toggle its value to true
- Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the 3 following preferences also:
- browser.warnOnQuit
- browser.warnOnRestart
- browser.showQuitWarning
- Note: last pref is new in Firefox 4 b 12, may need to add (boolean)

As the title suggests. Basically after I changed the settings using the "topic: config" method and ONLY the parameters of the topic support told me to change Firefox 4 still does not actually save the legs after leaving. After the reset just FF4 restarts me to my home page. Now, I try only to save anywhere between 2 and 5 to the more tabs.
Firefox 4 saves the previous session automatically, so it is no longer necessary for the dialog box asking if you want to save the current session.
You can use "Firefox > history > restore previous Session" for the previous session.
There is also a button 'Restore previous Session' on the default on: Home home page.
Another possibility is to use:- Tools > Options > general > startup: "When Firefox starts": "show my windows and tabs from last time '.
If this does not work check that you do not run Firefox in permanent mode of private - browsing using Firefox without saving history .

Why is able to save and update the passwords for sites other than those of Blackboard FF?
I am able to save and update passwords on other sites, but not on the Blackboard learn for my University. They force us to change our pw is from time to time, and I think I noticed it after that Blackboard did some updates to their site. It will always load autofill with my old account and password, but not update it. I deleted the password stored and tried to get FF to remember once again on my laptop, but it has not yet asked to save him. I'm guessing that there is a new code or a script for the journal in the procedure? Is there a manual way to enter and update the credentials stored?
Hello, sites can specify that passwords should not be stored (however I do know that if this is the case on the page you are having problems with, since you did not specify which University it affects). as a way to get around this, you can use an addon like this: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/remember-passwords

What happeded to save and exit?
I've recently upgraded to the latest Firefox "save and quit" feature has disappeared.
A Firefox 4 is from Firefox showing the default warning message will stop, but it can be turned on again by changing some preferences.
Type about:config into the location bar and press enter 1. Accept the warning message that appears, you will be taken to a list of preferences 2. Locate the preference browser.tabs.warnOnClose, if its value is set to false, double-click on it to change its value to true 3. Repeat this for these 3 preferences browser.warnOnQuit browser.warnOnRestart and browser.showQuitWarning
Create them if they do not exist by clicking right anywhere-> new-> Boolean.
If you always open the last set of tabs, another approach is the following:
1. click on the Firefox button orange, and then select options to open the options window
2. go in the general Panel
3. change the setting "When Firefox starts" to "show my windows and tabs from last time '. -
Save and load the string table
Hello
is possible except an array of channel with multiple line of text file and load new file to table with the same size of array?
Because when I use the code in the picture, initialized array is 3 x 3 but after save and load file is table 5 x 3.
If is an option how to save this table in the file into 3 x 3 table and charge back of file as a 3 x 3 table?
Thank your for any suggestion,.
Petr
Your code is loaded in 5 x 3 is because two of your cells have newline characters (\n). The reading of the worksheet VI use return or line break characters and your delimiter to figure out how to split the string into an array.
A solution might be to replace all characters from end of line with something else, and then reinsert it after reading of the worksheet.
It can do what you want, even if it's a bit bulky. It's a little confusing if you don't understand "------" string formatting, but it essntially replaces all '\r' and '\n' with '\\r' and '\\n', including the conversion of the worksheet does not read as an end of line character.

Yes, it's there - it's on the tab "Output Dest." When you have selected subscribers - he needed its own tab because there is simply no place to stick in the conversations tab...
