Save multiple tabs on the fence, Reopen Multiple Tabs when restarting

Since the last update, I can no longer save multiple tabs when Firefox is closed. Please restore this ability so that when Firefox is opened again, the same tabs in the window of Firefox more recently closed reappear! Thank you!

Now, Firefox always stores the old session which you can access from the history menu by selecting "restore previous Session."

If you always open the last set of tabs, another approach is the following:

  1. Click on the orange button Firefox, then select options to open the options window
  2. Go to the general Panel
  3. Change the setting "When Firefox starts" to "show my windows and tabs from last time '.

  • I can't save my tabs when I want to close the Explorer I.

I used Mozilla from the first time I had an internet connection, and as long as I remember when I had open tabs that I wanted to see later that I could save simple closing just the mozilla without close tabs first... I did a format a few days earlier and since then I can not save the tabs I want , so I can see them again as long as I want to when I open Explorer . Is there anyway I can fix this? Because I had this version of Mozilla and before the format and I could also save my tabs... now the program don't give me this option when I close.

  • Why can't I save my tabs when I leave the Firefox browser?

That is to say where is the option that was available in the previous version of firefox?

I don't care for the option 'open Web browsers for the last time' since I can not want to save my tabs each and every time, not to mention the fact that it is bulky fucking to continue to go into the menu options to switch between "show my home page" and "my tabs" every time, I use firefox. I mean honestly.

And not even mention the option 'restore previous session '. I can't help but feel like I'm asking this is that hard to implement. Why was the first place he removed? It's very important for me, when Firefox will ask: "Do you want firefox saves your tabs for the next time" when I closed the window, and there was an option to stop the firefox asking for those interested.

Please bring back this feature, it should be of perfect for my needs. I hope people remember of what I am referring. I hope that "subject: config" has an option to bring back...

You can have things the old-fashioned way, and even if you do not choose to restore your tabs the next time Firefox starts, you can always restore your through your history as John99 mentioned, if you change your mind after you restart Firefox.

See point #31 in the following text
Restore the tabs of a lost session done now after restarting via the History menu ('Alt + S') 'restore previous session'.

You can always have old messages, to ensure that you get your tabs immediately restored, but with or without messages and depending on how you respond to the message, you can still get your previous session via the history menu back.

Firefox automatically records the tabs when the user closes the it. They are available in history > restore previous Session and at the bottom of the default (topic: Home) home page - restore previous Session

  • Save my tabs when Firefox is closed so that they are always there when I restart Firefox

You have to use restore on my computer recently and once I did, Firefox seems to have lost the ability to save the tabs that I had opened since the last time that I used it, do not remember how it was configured to save tabs after each session. Also restore previous session was grayed out on then the previous session was not guarded, was able to recover some of the tabs looking through my story, right now I can't just close Firefox and open it to my previous tabs, it starts a new session. Will be closed in the future Firefox until a solution is found from my task manager, because it usually allows me to restore the previous Firefox tabs because it acts as an accident.

Normally, Firefox saves your open windows and tabs that you will when your browser crashes, so it can restore your session automatically. To get Firefox to do this each time that you start, you can set that in the Options page. See: start-up, homepage, tabs and download settings.

If Firefox does not always restore your session, check the Options page Privacy panel to ensure that:

    (1) you authorize Firefox saves history
    (2) you may not erase history at the stop

  • Stuck in a way that restores all tabs when restarting. I tried all the suggestions help and about: config changes

Having read all the info from the help and can't get out of a mode where it goes back to the last session with all the tabs in the condition that they stayed in except the page is not loaded until you go to the tab.

I tried false session restore and everything else I could find on this topic. He seems to have changed by itself, I made no change.

Your help is appreciated. Thank you

You can check if you have a user.js file in the Firefox profile folder that affects the pref browser.sessionstore.resume_session_once true value.

The user.js file is present than if you or another software has created this file and normally it wouldn't be here.
You can check its contents with a text editor (right click: open with) If you do not create this file yourself.

The user.js file is read whenever Firefox is started and initializes the preferences to the specified value in this file, so the preferences set via user.js can be changed temporarily for the current session.

But the reason for which to get the data of the last execution, is that your shift register is not initialized.  Thus, it keeps the data of the previous run.

  • Ask to save on the fence by the numbers

In OX X 10.9.5 number suddenly stopped to ask if I want to save a worksheet to the fence. simply, it closes the file and saves it.  If I make a temporary change, to test a formula or a function, for example, and forgetting to erase this before closing, he is saved! translated by having to rewire the worksheet to the original.  How to easily restore the ask to save on the pop-up closure?

System Preferences > general: allow 'ask to keep the changes when closing documents '.

    The setting is global.
