Something to try:

I don't know if it helps... but you can launch the Scanner
and the Assistant to the camera as follows:

The executable for the scanner and Camera Wizard is:
wiaacmgr.exe

If you connect your camera via USB / light / and go to...
Start / run... and type or copy / paste the following and press on...
Enter... must start the wizard:

C:\Windows\System32\wiaacmgr.exe

OR...

If you happen to have an external or internal USB media player
Try the following steps.

Insert the memory card into the correct location on the media player...
If open windows... Close them.

When the card is inserted... If you go to... Start / computer... is
player card on one or several removable disks?

Removable (e :)) drive
Removable disk (e :))
Removable drive (g)

If_Yes_you can download photos from there. Left click
the drive letter that corresponds to the SD card slot should
display the directory of the card and you can copy and paste or
Drag and drop the photos of your choice in a folder on your hard drive
drive.

Just a select group of photos do a right-click and choose... Copy...
then navigate to the folder that you want, and then right-click the
folder and choose Paste.

Also... the following AutoPlay Repair Wizard can be worth a try:

    Hello

What version of Windows are you using?

If it is deleted from the memory card, it can not be recovered. However, there are some third-party applications or the tool that will help you recover photos. If you have saved the pictures on the hard drive and deleted, so you can check in the trash.

    Hi Gordon,.

It would be great if you can provide more information about the issue.

    (1) what exactly happens when you install the camera Canon Power Shot A85 on Windows 8?

    (2) you get an error message? If Yes, what is the exact error message?

    (3) you have any previous/old drivers of the device and the associated software installed on the computer?

    (4) did you try to install the latest drivers and software on the Canon site?

The Canon Web site shows that there is no Windows 8 driver for this camera model. The driver may be either included in the operating system, or you may not need to pilot. You can click on the given link and check details:

Note: Select the operating system and check the latest drivers available.

But because the device does not work with the drivers built into Windows 8, it would be preferable to contact Canon Technical Support for assistance.

    Hope this information is useful.

The Parent to Camera Raw/bridge software is Photoshop because the camera raw plugin is installed on your system with Adobe Photoshop.

Please open Photoshop and edit an image in camera raw by going into the filters and then open the bridge of file > Browse in Bridge and check if the option to edit your images in camera raw directly.

Also make sure that your camera raw plugin is the latest version see: Installer of plug in Camera Raw

  • Save pictures to the ENVI format

    Hello

I do the image acquisition using a PCI 1426 acquisition card and the requirement, I have save the images to the ENVI format. When I searched for information on the ENVI format I found this link: http://groups.google.com/group/comp.lang.idl-pvwave/browse_thread/thread/e29deda284a727f1?pli=1

Apparently, there is a header file in which the information of the captured image are registered. The device that I use is a line scan camera and capture energy strips any (not exactly what it is). What I need to know is, can I save the images captured in ENVI format? If I can, how can I write the header for the file information?

    Thank you

    Sandeep

I think that I finally understand how to work with / create files Environment. In my application, I have a camera online scan that will scan/capture only a row of pixels in an image. It's like a normal camera, but the resolution of the image in terms of the complete image is an X by 1. In my case 800 X 1. The camera returns actually a 800 X 270 resolution image, but what represents the 270 is 270 bands of energy that the camera caught for that row of pixels. If the camera has captured 270 each resolution 800 X 1-band information.

Now what happens after this is the case, the camera pivots from one (very small) angle and captures an another 270 information strips. How many groups is captured.

Suppose that I captured 270 band information in 300 different positions of the camera. That is to say an image of 800 X 270, turn some angle to take another image of 800 X 270, turn a few angle etc... 300 times.

Now, the ENVI header file should have the information

    Description Environment = {created ENVI file [3/17/20093:47 PM]}

    Samples = 800

    Lines = 300

    Bands = 270

    header offset = 0

    file type = standard Environment

    data type = 12

    Interleave = bil

    sensor type = unknown

    byte order = 0

    wavelength units = unknown

Allows to observe some important fields from the list above

    (a) samples - it's the horizontal resolution of the image is captured. (800 in the resolution of 800 X 270)

    (b) lines - this represents the number of frames you available for capture. By lines of what this means is the number of lines (rows) that will be present in the final image that we will build with all the information you entered.

    (c) bands - this represents the number of bands of energy that the camera captures in each image, in this example it's 270 (the second part of the 800 X 270).

    (d) the offset of the header - this indicates if there is no header information before each image information.

    (e) type of file - standard Environment (explicit)

    (f) type of data - how many bits is taken to represent each pixel. My camera takes 12 bits to represent each pixel.

    (g) interleave - this indicates how the data is organized in the binary file. Certain amount of explanation is needed here, because there is confusion.

Any ENVI file is actually two files, the header which has the above information and the second is the information of the image that is defined in the header file. So, the header file is like a map of the information of the image (in binary). Is what I'm doing, I capture a series of images and write a binary file. Thus, the first line in the binary file will be the first band of the first image, which is the first line of the 1st image of band. The second row will be the second strip of the first image that is in the 1st row of the second image of the band. The 270th line is the 270th band of the first image, which is the first line of the 270th band image. 271st ranked is the first group of the second captured image will be the second line of the 1st image of band etc.

Therefore, we receive 270 (number of bands) resolution images 800 X 300 of 300 images in resolution 800 X 270. Each of the final pictures will be a bunch of information value. A row of PIX of each of the 300 images form a final image.

This link has a lot more information about Environmental format images http://groups.google.com/group/comp.lang.idl-pvwave/browse_thread/thread/e29deda284a727f1

There are many more parameters as those explained above, but the above are sufficient to start.

  • How to activate the camera CANON G7x profile in LR 5.7.1

    Hey dear community,

I'm trying to get the camera to my CANON Powershot G7x active profile, but it does not appear when I import my pictures from the CANON. All other profiles as G1x, G10, G11, G15 of Canon.

    What should I do?

I use LR 5.7.1 on a MACBookPro Mid 2010 with OS X10.11.4 with 8GByte of RAM

Thanks for feedback and Franconian spring greetings

Raws G7X have been supported since LR 5.7.

Camera profiles should include Adobe Standard and camera faithful/landscape/Monochrome/neutral/Portrait/Standard

Lenses for the G7 X profile is built in and still more if that's what you're talking about.  6 LR and LR CC and CC of Photoshop with ACR, 8.2 or more recent, both have a way of seeing that an integrated lens profile is used.  Here's how things look at PS CC ACR 9.5, where, as you can see not one, the embedded profile corrects lens distortion and Chromatic Aberration:

If you speak a G7X Mark II, so it's a very recent device, and Adobe is not compatible until after it's all first available for sale in the United States at the end of May.

  • Pictures of the camera shows a white background

I have the iPhone 6 s and wondering why my photos (say for example of a person with the ocean in the background) appear as the person is too dark with the ocean looking perfect in the background or the person lit up fine, but the background is bright white.

Is there a setting to fix this, so that the subject of the image (the person) is properly lit and the background appears correctly?

    Hi DavidG21,

    Please visit Apple support communities.

Looks like areas of the photos you take with the camera app on your iPhone to appear more or less clear that you are pregnant. This happens because the unit automatically adjusts its exposure (the amount of light in the scene that reaches the sensor of the camera) based on what is photographed. It is more noticeable in high-contrast environments like photographing a person in front of a bright ocean.

You can use the HDR setting in the camera app makes up for it by taking pictures:

HDR (High Dynamic Range) allows you to get great pictures in contrast situations. When shooting with the iSight camera, iPhone takes several photos in quick succession at different exposure settings - and they are based. The resulting picture has better details in bright areas and half-tones.

Use the HDR. (iSight camera and FaceTime camera on iPhone 5 s and later versions) Press the HDR. For best results, keep the iPhone steady and prevent the movement of the subject.

On the iPhone 5 s later, you can choose Auto HDR and iPhone uses HDR when it is more effective.

Keep the normal picture and the HDR version. Go to settings > Photos & camera > keep normal Photo. The normal and the versions of the HDR photo appear in the pictures. Versions HDR photos in your albums are marked with 'HDR' in the corner.

The iPhone user guide - HDR

You can also tap on different parts of the screen when taking a picture to adjust the exposure manually and see how the photos will change depending where the image is sharp.

The exposure is automatic, but you can adjust the exposure manually for the next shot by tapping on an object or an area on the screen. With an iSight webcam, touching the screen defines the focus and exposure, and face detection is temporarily disabled. To lock the focus and exposure, touch and hold until the impulses of the rectangle. The screen indicates to what exposure and focus are locked. Take as many photos as you want. When you tap the screen again, exposure and development of unlocking and face detection and automatic settings back on.

The iPhone user guide - take photos and videos

These two tips should help you to take great pictures with your iPhone 6s.

    See you soon!

  • If I download pictures from the camera or device

    PART ONE:

and save it in the downloads

    then open with "IPhoto".

make changes minor changes IE, change the name of the file.

    export to

Photo of Belinda finders - images...

I can delete these old photos of downloads and Itunes, and those remaining in Finders - photos - will record of Belinda rest as is.

    SECOND PART

If I have files of photos flies over from another computer and folders of pictures old - photos - Finders

    then open with "IPhoto".

make minor changes, to change the name of the file,

    export to

Photo of finders - pictures - Belinda

Can I then delete the old folders of photos as well as those in iPhoto and just keep records of finders - pictures - Belinda.

Do not use Photos or IPhotos save the place.

    Thank you

    Belinda

    Thank you

Your workflow is not correct - not sure if you are just be sloppy in the descriptions or if you do not understand how iPhotoworks

First of all what he 'downloads '? I guess that's the folder from the finder downloads

You can not 'open' whatever whether with iPhoto - you must import photos into iPhoto

It is not possible to change the name of any file in iPhoto - once imported a photo in iPhoto the file name can never be changed except by exporting form iPhoto in the finder

Assuming that you have a default value (and highly recommended) managed library then there is no relationship between the original photo in the download folder of the finder and photos in iPhoto - and there is never any link between an exported photo and the photo in iPhoto

And if you use iPhoto not to store your photos, then there is no reason to use it at all - just upload your photos and edit them with preview, items PhotosShop, Gimp or another editor - you simply present your difficult life involving iPhoto in the process at all
