Save the active layers

Is there a way to save the active layers in a new file? We create a wide collection of customizable products, and they all need images replaced with vector data, before we can produce the products. It would help save time and file sizes if we could save only current active elements of a file as a copy file.

A PDF file would be for out of production?

If then... and assuming that you have Acrobat installed, simply print to the Adobe PDF format. Only visible layers do 'print', and that, I take it, is what you want. (The resulting PDF file can be opened in Illustrator for future work, but everything is going to be on a single layer).

    Try resetting the PS preferences

    • To restore preferences quickly by using a keyboard shortcut: press and hold Alt + Ctrl + Shift (Windows) or Option + command + shift (Mac OS) when you start Photoshop. You are prompted to delete the current settings. New preferences files are created the next time you start Photoshop.

    The best solution is to make an image of the installation with an external application on an external drive - then you know that you have a functional backup. (Do not forget to save all partitions - Vista by default creates a small boot as well as the main C: partition partition)

  • Save the active parent registration after cancellation on the kid's page.

    Hello

    I use Jdev Version 11.1.2.3.0

    I have a relationship of children with parents and I am using a ViewLink.

    On the first page, I have a table when I select a line and go to the next page, all the child records of the selected line are displayed. I can change them, but when I press the restore button instead of staying on the same child records I get sailed on the children of the first parent in the table that is on the first page.

    I can't put the iterator of the parents on the same line, because it does not already exist.

    Kind regards.

    Is there something missing in your description. Execution of the restore operation resets all iterators (that's why you ed until you see the child of the first parent, but is do not delete a line that was in the DB before.)

    To keep the currently selected line and set it again after a rollback referred to 'How - to keep selected row after cancellation' on page 8 of the http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/adf/learnmore/oct2010-otn-harvest-183714.pdf

  • Save the Code?

    is there an easy save the active document code?

    Hi Chris,

    I made a few changes that might help you.

    No script does work on the document you are running and not new or not active.

    I'm not sure sleep 60000 setting but as I understand it, you want that connected in the values of t and t2 and not sleep.

    Note the changes that I made on the activeDocument and try to understand them.

    Sorry I can't explain properly, now I am very busy.

    Unraced below once again, so do not be surprised if...

  • Save as - name of the active document

    Does anyone know how script backs up new name of file with Javascript for Photoshop?

    I can save the file under a new name, but it does not replace the current active document that it records since. The current active document still has the old name.

    saveFile = new File (filePath () + "/" + fileName ())

    saveOptions = new PhotoshopSaveOptions();

    saveOptions.layers = true; Preserve layers.

    saveOptions.embedColorProfile = true; Keep the color profile.

    saveOptions.annotations = true; Keep annonations.

    saveOptions.alphaChannels = true; Preserve alpha channels.

    saveOptions.spotColors = true; Preserve spot colors.

    app.activeDocument.saveAs (saveFile, saveOptions, true, Extension.LOWERCASE);

    $.writeln (savefile);

    app.activeDocument.saveAs (saveFile, saveOptions, true, Extension.LOWERCASE);

    If you set it to 'true' to 'asCopy' (the third property) the behavior seems to be as expected.

  • I am unable to adapt both the screen saver is activated

    I am unable to adapt both the screen saver is activated, I put the link, but it acts as if it was before progrmmed?

    Also is there a way to avoid to connect every time?

    The problem with these parameters is that they overlap. The screen saver setting is perhaps not the one place to look: you should also watch your 'screen time out", as well as waiting times"lock screen ". In addition, it could be the energy saving sleep timer. From the point of view of the user, they all look the same (the screen turns off), but to get the desired exact situation, you may need to check up to 4 places.

    1. Right-click on the desktop > personalize > screen saver
      Even if you do not use a screensaver, this timer value is used to lock the screen. The value 'none' and make sure that the check box is disabled, it does not require a password.
    2. Power options > Change when turn off the display
      Also look at the "require a password on wakeup" option here
    3. Power options > change when the computer sleeps

  • Increase the idle time before my screen saver is activated

    While I'm on the line, after 5 minutes of inactivity, while displaying a site etc, my screen saver is activated, making me use my mouse to go back to the page I was veiwing previously. How can I increase the amount of time before the screen saver is turned on in windows 7.

    Thank you!!!

    Go to control panel and click on appearance and personalization.

    Under customization you will see a link to "Change screen saver", click on that and a configuration window should appear.

    There, you'll be able to set the time interval so that the screen saver is used.

  • I'm trying to create a PDF file with several signature lines in that anyone can "Sign" by using their digital signature CAC (Common Access Card) active. The goal is to have a single document that people can open, sign on a designated line and save the doc

    I'm trying to create a PDF file with several signature lines in that anyone can "Sign" by using their digital signature CAC (Common Access Card) active. The goal is to have a single document that people can open, sign on a designated line and save the document (replacing the existing document) and close. Then another person can open the same document digitally sign another area of the form, save it, and close it. So on, and so on. Is there a way to do this? At the end of the day, I would end up with a PDF file with literally hundreds of signatures to enable different ACC everywhere...

    I don't understand what the problem is. In the post of the davidr96549424 on May 8, 2015 07:58 you presented a structure of a correct document. Is the issue of the creation of this structure in a PDF file? For this, you will need an Acrobat, not reader.

    XI in Acrobat, select Tools-> forms-Edit. Click 'No' on the form fields 'detect '. In the tasks Panel that opens, click on "add new field". Select "Digital Signature" and move it to the location in the document where you want to than the appearance of the signature to be. Repeat that for signature fields as you want. Users will sign by clicking on the prepared unsigned signature field which shows the dialog box "sign. Do not forget that as TSN has noted that a digital signature applies to the entire document. The entry in the document where it is is irrelevant. Each next signature covers all previous signatures.

    Your users can also sign a document from anywhere that they want without signature fields already prepared. For this select fill & sign-> work with certificates and the type of signing you want to sign up with. A dialog box that will tell you a rectangle for the appearance of signature rises and after you draw the rectangle of the dialog 'Sign' rises.

    PDF/Acrobat doesn't have a limit on a number of signatures in a PDF document. But! Don't forget that when you open a PDF file with Acrobat/Reader signatures valid all of them and takes time (several seconds - until 10 - for every signature), so if you have several signatures of dozens of their validation open can take a long time.

    I don't know how build you your workflow so that each person signs the same PDF and saves it. Economy runs on the same computer where the PDF is stored. You'll have to decide how to allow different people to have access to the same PDF. They, of course, you may sign this only one-at-a-time PDF.

  • How to save the layers merged as jpg in 12 items?

    I'm unable to save the project as a file jpg even after the merger carefully layers. The only way I can do seems to be to use save for Web - and I don't want to compress the images in the form of web images.

    Also, in Elements 9 I could open a PSE file in layers and continue editing - 12 I can't do that.

    I really am very discouraged and wish that I had my Elements 9 return.

    If you reopen your PSE file to create (which must happen automatically), and then go to file > export creations:

    You should get this window:

  • Safeguarding of documents through scripting: name of the active file Get and set save path/file type

    I am writing a script that will:

    -Do all the invisible layers

    -Make the layer visible ' background'

    -Remove all the invisible layers

    -Save the document as EPS file (leaving the original intact)

    I am new to scripting and I based my script by copying the code of other scripts.

    Here is my code:

    var doc = app.activeDocument;

    var name = doc.name;

    hide var = function () {/ / hide all layers (based on http://forums.adobe.com/thread/644267( )}

    var L = doc.layers.length;

    for (j = 0; j < L; j ++) {doc.layers [j] .visible = false ;}

    }

    masquer();

    loop through all layers

    for (var i = 0; i < doc.layers.length; i ++) {}

    Create the illusrtratorSaveOptions object to set options to HAVE

    var saveOpts = new IllustratorSaveOptions();

    saveOpts.embedLinkedFiles = true;

    saveOpts.fontSubsetThreshold = 0.0

    saveOpts.pdfCompatible = true

    Implemented Variable for the name of the access layer

    var currentLayer = app.activeDocument.layers [i];

    Loop through the layers and make the background layer visible

    If (currentLayer.name == 'Background') {}

    docName = name + currentLayer.name + ".eps";

    currentLayer.visible = true;

    }

    }

    / / Remove the invisible layers (based on http://www.cartotalk.com/index.php?showtopic=7491( )

    var myDoc = app.activeDocument;

    var layerCount = myDoc.layers.length;

    for (var ii = layerCount - 1; ii > = 0; ii-) {}

    var currentLayer = myDoc.layers [ii];

    currentLayer.locked = false;

    var subCount = currentLayer.layers.length;

    for (var subCount - 1; ss = ss > = 0; ss-) {}

    Underlayment var = currentLayer.layers [ss];

    subLayer.locked = false;

    If (subLayer.visible == false) {}

    subLayer.visible = true;

    subLayer.remove ();

    }

    }

    If (currentLayer.visible == false) {}

    currentLayer.visible = true;

    currentLayer.remove ();

    }

    }

    Save the document with a new name

    var saveName = new queue (doc.path + "/" + Nomdoc);

    doc.saveAs (saveName, saveOpts);

    Everything works well except:

    (1) it saves the document under the name of AdobeIllustratorBackground rather than the name of the document

    In addition, I don't know how to tell the script to save in EPS and specify the save location.

    Could someone give me some advice? Thank you!

    There is an example script in Adobe Illustrator Scripting/CSx/Sample Scripts/JavaScript/miscellaneous/Save as PDF that has all the parts except the EPS Options.

  • How can I access save the image under > layers Photoshop?

    I would like to export an image without using the rendering (I want to keep my intact cancellation).

  • Question of measures - "save under" for the individual layers

    I was wondering if someone could tell me how to make an action that can export individual layers in a PS document and rename each layers in the process.

    I have set up a canvas 320 x 180px and 'placed' in about 20 images that all will be exported with the Save for Web option.

    Problem is when I put the action save for Web and choose the destination, the names of Photoshop my image newly exported under the title of the document (for example, 320x180_Canvas.jpg). But as soon as I try to pass it to the next layer, it automatically replaces the first image exported with a new one, by renaming the same way, and so on and so forth for the 2 layers...

    So, essentially, I can only export a layer at a time - unless I make an action to save for Web for various documents and no layers (so instead of having a single document to 20 layers, I have 20 documents with a single layer)...

    I must be missing a crucial point here. Help would be appreciated!

    Take a look at
