  You can take advantage of the new features in later versions of TestStand.  In 2012, and most recent, you can write raw results.  As said Dennis you could just always write raw results.  Then use the TestStand Offline results new treatment utility write those in the database: http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/370052K-01/tsref/infotopics/offline_processing_utility/

  You can create a service or something to do.

  BTW - Plugins can run in its own thread.

  Hi, I used Windows Virtual PC XP mode for awhile and I just do a fresh install, and I'm having a problem that I seem not to be able to solve.

  After you enable the integration features, I got to the Windows Security login screen. I typed in the login and the password, but I accidentally made a mistake and could not connect. I clicked on cancel and was then in the XP login screen, where I entered then the right login and password and it me connected to the virtual machine XP without problem.

  Now, the problem I have is every time I connect to computer virtual it asks me the login and the password on the login screen of XP and I don't have the option to connect using the login Windows Security screen, so it do not give me an option to save my password and login information. So, to make things worse is that moment every time I have to resize the virtual pc it then asks me to log in again.

  Is it possible to return me to the Windows security login screen where can I put my login instead of the XP login screen when it is not an option?

  Two things to check-

  (1) check that the AD schema has really been extended. Sign in to AD and searching each object classes. for example vGOUserData
  (2) check if you have the service AD account, made the right to extend schema and create/modify/delete objects in AD under this OU.
  (3) make you think "agent settings global-->--> the sync command Synchronizer" is cheked with Synchronizer of right order.
  (4) looking at the papers above, it seems that the logging level is set to Info, try changing to debug in traceController utility.

  Hope after setting the debug logging level, you will get the exact error that causes this problem

  Anyone heading the question where if they try to save the general plan of EAS to their local machine instead of the server, just EAS is there and transfer the data to the file?

  If it's web client, you use then it is most likely down to the used JRE, you're probably using 1.6 and 1.5 should not be able to save the outline.
  1.5 and 1.6 can co-exist, but you will need to disable 1.6 in the java settings, go to control panel configuration, java, java tab, click view and select only 1.5
  If you do not have a JRE installed 1.5 you must install one or use the other EAS client.

  I used to be able to turn the notifications specific to the HQ of SAN.  I've updated a few times and had not tried for a while but now I can do it no longer.  When I try to disable an alert I say pop-up error: "cannot save the e-mail settings.  The SAN HQ was unable to save the message view recent changes.  Unable to save changes made to the Group (group name) because of insufficient access permissions or administrative credentials.  Verify that your account has all required permissions and administrator-level access to update the selected group. "Then I me it is a question of perm but don't know where.  SAN HQ connects very well to all my reports and datasets, etc.  Where would this leave?  Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

  Your user and group must have all the permissions for the install directory where SANHQ has been installed.

  I wanted to write a test case using TestStand without using the LabVIEW screws. My requirements are-

  1. thanks to TestStand, read 'LRDC' and 'Tension' / information about the columns of an Input.xls template file and create respective local table variables accordingly in the Teststand sequence file.

  2 start a new worksheet that will bring together the results of the tests using the local table (created in step 1) as input variables. Criteria of pass/fail will be executed according to the values read from the engine ECM.

  From the points mentioned above, I am able to set up the point No. 2, but I'm still not able to understand "how to read the value of the template of Input.xls" and "How do I backup the file Results.xls in a predefined path.

  Please take a look at the enclosed sequence. I currently hard coded [...] Locals.RLOC and the inhabitants. [x] [0], but ultimately I want this info to get filled with Input.xls file.
