Save the value LVOOP to the default value of the class programmatically
Hello!
I was stuck on this little problem for quite awhile, maybe I can't see the wood for the trees, my intention is perhaps utopian
Here's what I want to do: retrieve the default value of an existing *.lvclass class (not), change it to some sort of Setup, and then save the back by default to the *.lvclass file (or any other).
The only planned mounting is on changing the default value, no more, no less.
I tried a few magic Server VI in vain (LabVIEW crashed)
Any suggestions?

With some, as you named: "Magic VI Server", it is possible to edit the default class data and save it as the same/new class. However, there are at least three major problems:
- This is not possible in the runtime, because it requires features available only in script development
- If you want to save the class changed as the new class, she would need to copy all the screws and the controls of this class
- It is simply inefficient.
So before we go any further, could you explain more thoroughly, why would you want to? If you have two classes, which are exactly the same, but differ on data default field values, this is absolutely not a good idea and not a good software design. And relying on the default values may generally lead you to unexpected behavior of your program in the future, when you decide to change these default values.

I made a new class for LabVIEW, and I try to save a file using XML. Attached pictures show how to create the file and how I read it, and I get the error message. I tried a variety of different methods and nothing worked so far. I was wondering if anyone had any advice or examples to save a class to file via XML.
In the meantime, I'll use the method described here:

but I would prefer XML for more usability later down the line.
I also thought just not related to the group all the data structure, recording via XML and then just group it upward and writing to an instance of the class. This seems to be more work that needs to be necessary and should be redone every time I have change the class.
Probably, it goes without saying that I am fairly new to LabVIEW so I hope this isn't a stupid error that is obvious to the vet...

Second - I solved it! I was about to send a screenshot of my hierarchy for you to take a look at, but that made me think. I re-arranged my hierarchy; This solves the problem.
Now, for all those who had the same problem (Error 1527):
The first screenshot is my original project hierarchy, which did not work.
The second is my hierarchy updated the project that solved the problem.

Hi all
I'm using labview 13.0 and I am trying to save my project in a different location using the "Save as-> double .lvproj file and content" with all the dependencies. I select a location on my computer and it starts to run. Once he traveled a few files, I get the following error:
LabVIEW: File generic i/o Error
Unable to save the class "setMaximumHeaterPowerMessage.lvclass".
LabVIEW save 44 error code: cannot move temporary files to destination.
I press OK and it asks me to choose a "backup of"setMaximumHeaterPowerMessage.lvclass"emergency Destination, I do that and then get:

I press OK and stop the saving process.
Googling the problem only led to a few articles talking about virtualbox, which I am not using. I have enough space on my hard drive.
Anyone know what is causing this problem and how can I solve this problem?

I have only 1 vi and its not to miss. 1 vi advertising the library owner has blocked enforcement of the VI. The class has the error "this VI belongs to a class of LabVIEW. No part of the class is executable at this time, because one of the screws is missing. Find Member missing screws on the disk and load them into memory or remove them from the definition of class in the project tree. »
But there is only 1 member vi! ??
I had a lot of other vi through this class, but somehow this class failed with this error. I removed all vi directory and the definition of class and just done re the a vi reviewer and still have the error message.
I enclose my ridiculously simple class.
I have other classes that work very well, but somehow it seems to have gotten sloppy. I really need to understand what happened here and how get/avoid this error, or I wouldn't have the confidence to develop large scale applications using classes.

Your class contains two screws a VI is called Untitled 1 and the other reading Max level.vi.
Maybe this could happen (not tested) as follows. You have created two screws and saved one of them as reading Max level.vi. Then, you have saved the class. When the classyou of fence chose not to save untitled 1 and not to save the class.
How to fix it. Open the class file with any text editor. Remove all lines between and including the following lines in the file:

I press graph sliders to save the values of the form, why?
I want to save different values in a chart in excel.
My program takes a signal and then I can adjust the interval I want to watch, and then change that with two cursors.
I have succede with, the problem is that when I'm trying to save it, I have to first press save, then press one of the sliders to get the pop up window so that I can choose the right location to save. Continue to record different values, I have to repeat the procedure.
I would like to just run my program and then adjust my cursor on the interval that I love, and then press save to store the values in an excel document and then continue to select different valuse and press save button to store multiple values and so on.
Is there something in my code that I have to press the front sliders can save values?

I'm doing a vi where I save the selected value from the ListBox with values respective tab control dropdown selected in another list box. Whenever I select Item1 can change of course and the respective tab will be open for this element. But now I want to just save the selection and put it into another ListBox.SO I can't renmove or add my wishes. Please help me.

I have a ProjectId attribute in my VO.
Created a transient ProjectName attribute, passivation = true editable = always.
Created a ViewAccessor on the MainVO.
Created a LOV on ProjectName ProjectName mapped in the configuration to the accessor of the view section with ProjectId.
Changed the ViewRowImpl.java.
I get the error when you run the below request form.

How to maintain the sequence DB value if we don't save the record?

When I go to create the page: the seq is 11. If I save it, it will get stored in DB without any problem.
Instead of save, I'll close the page and to reopen the page, this time, a new sequence will get generated, that is to say 12. But 11 has disappeared. I don't want to miss this 11.
I wrote the same code in the method Create() of EO. He works also as same (above).
I tried to write the code in the button Save, I am getting error below:

Once recovered DB sequence value cannot be restored.
Few options for you:
1. set a dummy value say-1 initially, then drift and set the value of the sequence on the click on save.
2. set the validation server = false on the "Save" button. But it stops to throw another error in the page on the click of the button.
3. you can substitute doDML() and try to set the sequence value in this, but it will take once again the dummy value-1 as the first option.

A sharedObject is always appropriate for a local application. The only reason to use anything else would be size of storage needs.
