  Is there a way to change InDesign CC2015 where a "save under" by default? In previous versions, if I did a "save under" document, it automatically chose the same folder the same in that original document was. It makes sense, especially if you save a version update of a file. In CC2015, it automatically records the last folder you did a "save under", which can be very annoying, requiring either a series of extra clicks, or scratching your head and trying to figure out where your paper was on his next, you try to open it.

  Hi, can really use your help! Recently updated to Firefox. I used to click on downloads and be able to "save under". Now, I can only 'open' or 'save' When I click on 'save', all files go to the default download folder. I then have to open the Explorer, search for the folder and the file, and then cut and paste into the appropriate folder. A heavy treatment!

  Does anyone have a solution? Thank you!

  3. Have you run a virus scan to check if there are infections of the system?

• "Save under" in Word, the excesses and the Outlook causes the program to close. Why?

  I've had sporadic problems in save documents in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook for a few weeks now, but it becomes more and more frequent and more and more embarrassing. I have no problem opening documents, but if I try to ' save under ' and sometimes 'save', the rotation disc appears on the display followed by the screen goes pale with an error message saying that Windows is trying to find the problem but he then is firm and sometimes restarts and retrieves the document but I can't always save the document to a new file when it goes through the process , then closes. • Delete "save under" type of file in Explorer

  Since that remove a third part called Zip extract file program now I can't understand how to remove that "save under" file type in windows Explorer when you try to save a zip file download. I do not want to reinstall pull now because the download came with other installed programs. He gave you the option of unchecking these extra pieces of software, but did not and install anyway. I removed all instances of extract now from my computer (Win7 64 bit), but my save as file type always displays in Solution Explorer and I don't know how to fix this. Any help would be appreciated. ~ Derika - REVISED to include a different screenshot of the files listed in my association of Protocol/default programs. Remember, there are 99 of these files, but I captured only what my screen shot might show you.

  The default printer is probably on XPS Writer or PDF Writer, instead of your normal printer.

  Click on: Start-> Control Panel-> devices and printers

  then right-click on your regular printer and set it as default printer.

  Try to reset the Photoshop preferences:

  Hold down the CTRL - Shift - Alt from the cold Photoshop start.  If you get the keys to the low enough - quickly and you have to be VERY fast - it prompts you to confirm the removal of your established preferences, which will lead to them all being the default value.

• Can't "save under" to another file on Mac to PDF

  When I select "save under" a file PDF downloaded, I'm presented with a window "save under" vacuum with only the possibility to enlarge the window or close it.  I can't save a PDF file on my computer.  I work from a Mac and have saved PDF downloaded frequently school and for the first time this problem from Wednesday.  Advice to fix anyone know?  Other types of files (Word, Excel, etc.) except very well.

  The default "Save as" dialog Acrobat DC is different from the dialogue box you had in earlier versions of Acrobat, it also allows you to record in the clouds and previous locations that you saved the files. It is possible that when Acrobat tries to connect to the 'cloud', it runs into problems. You can try to disable this feature to see if this brings your backup in the back of the box: open Acrobat Preferences, then go to the "General" category and uncheck "show the online storage when you save files:

  I use a Document Management System - I opened the document to apply redaction using Acrobat Pro XI, but would then save the pdf file (instead of default save under which pushes me to save another version outside the ASL) - the document management system creates its own interpretation to publish on the Web site.

  Another thing: uncheck this option in the Windows Folder Options dialog box so that you can SEE the file extensions in the Explorer and file open/save dialog boxes.  Which helps reduce confusion.
