  Just added a few new spry widgets to "My Widgets" in Adobe Widget Browser. All the instructions say I should be able to access these new widgets by: Insert > Widget >...   Problem is, there is no option 'widget' in my control panel "insert" CS4. Widgets only I have access are preloaded into the Insert toolbar.

  If they are in "my widgets" in the Widget browser, then they should also be loaded into my Dreamweaver CS4, right? Where are they?

  First of all - the documentation on how to debug etc from the widget home page shows that you create a new Web site.  I'm doing the right thing here?

  When I try to save I get an error: unable to complete the operation.  Without this interface taken in charge.

  Documentation on the start page for debugging is to debug a Web site.  Beta 1 does not yet support the debugging of JavaScript for Widgets.  So if you have an ASP.NET project you want to debug, these instructions will show you how to debug using the BlackBerry browser in the Simulator.

  -Version of Windows (Vista, XP, 7, 32-bit or 64-bit)

  -Version of Visual Studio 2008

  -When you installed visual studio, you said that you were a developer c#, VB developer or Web Developer

  -In your settings "Options-> projects and Solutions" you "Always" display the Solution and/or "Save new projects when created" checked or unchecked

  If you want to reuse more often, you can open the library or libraries CC , to store and later hanging out once again.   1. Open a terminal
  2. CD /Library/Widgets/Movies.wdgt/ (go to the directory of movies widget)
  3. sudo cp Movies.js Movies.js.bak (create a backup of the original file)
  4. sudo vim Movies.js (change the file)
  5. Find the line 40 (var gCurrPostalCode = null)
  6. Replace null with "YOUR_ZIP_CODE" (with quotes)
  7. Save and close the file (: wq)
  8. Log off then back on

  Open the conversation in the "SMS" application in the app drawer. Now press the 'slide show' to save the images and sounds that may have been in the message. You cannot save the widget "Messages".

  Whenever I am asked to reproduce the data in the chart, I use Excel. In other words, your #2. The cards are widgets floating along on the screen. Once they are gone, they are gone. You can save the chart on jpg whenever the table is full, then follow up later, but why? The data is the data, not the chart.

  To save an Excel spreadsheet, the easiest method is to simply write the data to a text file and have LabVIEW save the file as a *.csv file. This file can be opened directly in Excel and then mapped out.

  The other method would be to have the LabVIEW to record directly to an Excel spreadsheet. There are many examples of this on the forum.

  This could be a problem with the corruption of the user profiles, because this issue is not with the other user accounts. I suggest to create a new user and check if the problem persists.

  Steps to create a new user profile.

  1. Open a user account by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, click user accounts and family safety (or by clicking on user accounts, if you are connected to a network domain), and then clicking user accounts.
  2. Click Manage another account.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
  3. Click create a new account.
  4. Type the name that you want to assign to the user account, click an account type, and then click create an account.

  If the new user account works fine, then you can copy all the files to the new user profile.

  I know to use the blackberry.system.hasDataCoverage function to check for network connection and if there isn't one, to save the entry from user to localstorage.

  Hi all

  Here are the steps that I use to configure a widget to auto-run using VS 2008.  It seems to work with simulators as well as when the widget is deployed through BES 5.0.   Please try it and let me know if it works for you.

  1. Create a new BlackBerry Widget project in VS 2008.  Name it "AutoRunWidget".
  2. Build the solution with the Build-> order generate the Solution or F6.
  3. Use windows Explorer to navigate to the project folder and the forest down to the bin\OTAInstall folder.
  4. Find the AutoRunWidget.jad file in the OTAInstall folder.
  5. Right-click on the AutoRunWidget.jad file and select the copy"" command.
  6. Navigate to the top of two levels in the main project folder (one of the contains index.htm and config.xml).
  7. Paste the AutoRunWidget.jad file in the main project folder.
  8. In VS 2008 solution Explorer, click the button "show all files".  You should now see the file AutoRunWidget.jad previously the file config.xml and index.htm in the list (Fig 1).
  9. Make a right click on the AutoRunWidget.jad element and the select "include in project" menu command (Fig 2).
  10. In the Properties window, change the "Build Action" attribute for the file AutoRunWidget.jad ' Compile ' (Fig 3).
  11. Double-click the AutoRunWidget.jad file to display it in the editor VS 2008.
  12. In the content of the AutoRunWidget.jad file, change the line that reads "RIM-MIDlet-flags-1: 0" to "RIM-MIDlet-flags-1: 1"(Fig. 4). "»
  13. Save and close the AutoRunWidget.jad file.
  14. Clean the solution with the Build-> command clean the Solution.
  15. Rebuild the solution with the Build-> order regenerate the Solution.

  That's all!   Please note that whenever you modify the config.xml file, you will need to repeat steps 4 to 15 so that these changes are reflected in the .jad file.
