  Please quit Setup and then exit the creative application of cloud.

  After that, restart the machine.

  If you mean the LED above the hard drive battery that is to the left of the power LED indicator is for the hard disk activity.  When the hard drive is accessible, it starts flashing and that access should be a long series of access then the light will be constant.

  Thanks for posting the details of your system. I'm skeptical about the "CompTool0234 Community Toolbar". Could you disable some add-ons and see if that helps.

  On this tab:

  Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > addons > Plugins category

  Disable «Conduit Plugin»

  On this tab:

  Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > addons > Extensions category

  Disable the CompTool0234 community toolbar.

  Then very probably a link will appear to restart Firefox to make the change. Does make a difference?

  I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall all devices interface. Follow these steps:

  1. Click Start, type device Search Manager and press to enter.

  2. Device Manager window opens, expand Interface devices.

  3 right-click every device under the peripheral Interface node and then click on uninstall to remove them one at a time.

  4 restart your computer, windows will reinstall the Human Interface Devices.

  5. perform a test to ensure that the problem is solved.

  I have the same problem with this ASUS Ultrabook. New brand ASUS but in two different houses and I have the same problems. Get right next to the router and it connects ok. Get a few feet away from the router and the ASUS gets angry and does not connect. Downloaded the latest driver, but that did not help either.
