Save with 32 bit to 64 bit, Win 7

What is the best way to get pictures from a flash drive to the top. Upwards is of the a32 bit hard drive on another pc. I want to import these pictures on a 64 bit system. Both are win 7 Home?

Copy old plain flash drive and paste on 64-bit PC will work.

Following a previous question, I've done here, I discovered that I am able to install and use IMAQ.

So I try to do what I need, is to record a 12-bit grayscale with IMAQ image.

I read somewhere here that more can I go to save as 16 bit - I hope that it will not create problems in the final image.

in any case, is to know how far I could go - trying to understand works IMAQ:

(Sorry for the confusion - the lower left part deals with it without imaq, the party is on the right)

It works, I get a "error-1074396154 occurred at WritePNGFile IMAQ - or the possible reasons: IMAQ Vision: the image is not big enough for that operation.

-but just for this reason that I have inserted a SetImageSize IMAQ!

    any clue?

    Thanks for any help...

I have not installed imaq/SAV/vdm, so I'm going from memory here, but

    (1) you will encounter many problems with memory. you create a new image for each iteration of the loop and never remove. At the very least put an image destroy after imaq functions. The way I have always done things is to create the image once and then just re-use before destroying once at the end.

    (2) I think that your problem is perhaps the fact that you need to explicitly set the type of image in grayscale 16 on the imaq create functions, but I'm not positive

    Hello

The operating system 32-bit Win no matter if it s Vista or XP supports max 3.2 GB RAM
The operating system can show a smaller RAM value, because the small part of RAM would be assigned to the memory of the graphics card.
I think that your laptop was equipped with GPU Intel GM965.

It supports memory system shared and own (128 MB) of video memory.
The shared system memory depends on main memory.
Using 1 GB main memory = 123 MB Shared System Memory (GPU)
To the help of 2 GB memory main = 230 MB Shared System Memory (GPU)

Then system memory = total available graphics memory shared + video memory system
You have total 358MB memory (230 MB + 128 MB) graphic card

    3.2 GB 358 MB = 2.9 GB ;)

  • Share the printer for 64 bit with 32-bit system

I have a new HP Vista 64 bit with a HP deskjet 5150 printer system.  I want to share with a hp windows XP 32 bits of the system.  I see the printer from the 32-bit system but does not print to it.  I tried to load the 32-bit driver on the 64 bit system and could not do.  I tried to load the 64 bit 32 bit system driver and does not...  I didn't chance to find answers in the other boards except they usually referring to the fact that it is possible.

I can share files without problem.  Any solution?  Thanks for any help

I found my own answer and thought I should share.

    Hi guys
I hope that this could help save a bit of research and serious puzzle.

I have a native machine to Vista X 64 bit with some printers on it with 64-bit drivers, but still need to connect / access these printers on some machines to Windows XP bit (32).

"You cam't use the usual thing to set up a local since tcpip port drivers 32-bit installs not on the 64-bit computer, and in all cases, you will get - driver invalid for this OS" or an equivalent message.

In any case, here's how - simple when you know how, but it took me FOREVER to find the answer.

    (1) make sure that on the remote computer if ensure that you have enabled sharing so you can access the device remotely on your network printer.

    (2) Please make sure you have the correct native drivers installed on your XP machine.

    (3) in the new printer ADD Wizard (Panel) set up LOCAL printer add ATTACHED to THIS COMPUTER (ignore the fact that it is on the remote machine) and uncheck the automatically search plug-and-play devices.

We're going to 'Poodlefake' the remote printer to think that it is actually attached to the 32-bit machine this is why you must have the correct driver installed on the 32-bit computer.

    (4) now, click NEXT. Create a new port-LOCAL port type online. Click next

    (5) on the next screen, you will need to enter a port name.
What you have to do here, is to enter the \\computername\sharename
for example, if your remote computer is studionetwork and that you have shared the printer as epson1290
    then enter here \\studionetwork\epson1290

    (6) you will get a prompt (on the XP machine) which driver you want to use - because you have already installed the drivers then just scroll down until you see the correct printer.

-That's just mainly a test page and it works - your pilot will be just 'Pass through' 64-bit machine.

TOU will not however in most cases be able to recover data from the printer such as the levels of ink etc. You will have to do it on the remote computer.

Hope this helps - I know a lot of people are upgrading machines now - then you might have a certain 32 / 64-bit mixed environments and of course some older printers will not even 64-bit drivers.

Note that this works as well - reverse your computer 64 bit VISTA or Windows 7 can use a printer connected to a 32-bit computer. Do in the same way.

  • can I switch from 32-bit win vista home prem 64-bit win vista home prem?

can I switch from 32-bit win vista home prem 64-bit win vista home prem?

Yes, you can, but you need to back up and do a custom installation. There is no place on the way to upgrade from Windows Vista 32 bit to 64 bit.

Installation and relocation of Windows Vista
Back up your files - Microsoft Corporation: software, Smartphones...

Boot from the Windows Vista DVD
    Click Install now
    Accept the license agreement
When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)

Select the disk partition where you want to install Windows Vista click Next.

You will receive the following warning:

The partition you have selected may contain files from a previous Installation of Windows. If so, these files and folders will be moved to a folder named Windows.old. You will be able to access the information in Windows.old, but you will be able to use your previous version of Windows.

(At all costs, do NOT click on anything in Format, deletion or Partition name.) So even do a custom installation, your personal files are still kept. Click OK

The installation program will now begin installation. During installation, your computer will be restarted several times.

Once the installation is complete, you can complete the Out of Box experience as the choice of your laptop, create a username, password, your time zone. You can then proceed to download the latest updates for Windows and reinstall your applications and drivers.

You can then retrieve your personal files from the Windows.old folder and reinstall all of your applications and drivers.

    Hello

    I am running LR4.1/CS5/ACR6.7 on a Win7 64 bit system.

The function 'Edit-In' > 'open as Smart Object in Photoshop... '. "works Ok with raw files (.) (NEF).

However, when I try to use the same functionality with 32-bit. TIFF files (which came out of the LR4.1 'Edit' > 'Merge to HDR Pro in Photoshop...) ("another feature), nothing happened (the Photoshop windows application opens but out of the picture I have just chosen).

I used engines research and Adobe online help to see if there was any limitation preventing the use of this feature with 32-bit. TIF files but could not see this note.

    Thanks for your help!

Have you tried convert your 32-bit Tiff in a DNG (could save first...)?

The new DNG specification is supposed to manage higher-bit images. Maybe the DNG format you will get beyond the issue.

I need to install xp on my ct3480, I have a usb floppy and the chance to buy a Toshiba PX1054E-1NST cdrw.
My question is is it work/better way to do it, as the 32-bit pcmcia card.
I read that it should be 16 bit for pilots back to work, but the Toshiba PX1054E-1NST is designed for the p2000 and toshiba have a 'special boot disc"to activate the p2000 work with the card provided 32-bit in the p2000 bios normally only works with 16-bit cards.

In fact the Touchsmart from HP computer you have is not supported for Windows 8.1. You have it backwards.

You may need to reinstall Windows 8 to regain use of the tactile function of your PC all in one.

I'm having trouble installing my old set of 96, Heroes of Might and Magic II. When I try to install the game on my Windows 7 64 - bit processor, or run it at all, I get an error indicating that it is incompatible with a 64-bit version of windows. I have found no online help for such an old game. What options are available to me that would allow me to launch this game on my computer?

My friend has Windows 7, but running at 32 bits, and is able to play the game.

    Hey Stas,

I fear that the game will not work because it is not compatible with 64-bit operating systems. However, we have an option.

You can run the game mode XP provided your version of the operating system supports installation of XP mode.

Windows XP Mode comes as a separate download and works only with Windows 7 Professional, Ultimate and Enterprise.

Any help would be great I want to play this game, it's one of my favorites and I hate how I can't play everything simply because computers are better than them... If this is the case, then they should still be able to support games that are 10 + years older than them, you know? I can add more information if needed, thank you.

You must contact the manufacturer to see if they have a patch for Windows 7. He would come by the manufacturer and not by Microsoft.
