  I did export and then used the other program you suggested to compact the database, and finally I could work on my mail.  I could even delete nearly 1000 emails in the deleted files folder. Before it would just give me an error message.

  When attaching images to an e-mail (outlook), they show the previously edited image, not the current/newly edited view I see in Bridge or PS why is this?  I noticed that before loading the images to Web sites too and in any overview of the windows image that you see that it is like that as well.

  You must click on SAVE to save the changes.

  Changes in Camera raw are not applied to the original image in Finder/Explorer, they apply only to the bridge.

  Only by selecting Save will create a new copy of the image with these changes.

  I tried to launch a system of diagnosis without a disk and everything going on. I then tried running windows in safe mode and it won't allow me.   I'm getting this ' file is missing or damaged:------WINDOWS-SYSTEM32-CONFIG-SYSTEM ' error and Windows does not start in the F8 boot options. When I disable the auto reboot, I get a BSOD 51 registry error, consistent with the file "missing or corrupt" error Surprisingly "Recovery Console" works so I used to run chkdsk. This has not solved the problem, but even once, surprisingly, the utility reported no fixed error. Ok. I do research online (using another computer of course) and check out the many tips that I copy some files in my "c:\windows\repair" folder in the folder 'system '. Before I had time to do that, however, I found an article from Microsoft stating that this should not be done if you have an OEM System... what I'm doing. Apparently, hives system on these OEM installed OS set other passwords that can permanently block you on your records if you use this method. Thanks for the warning. My system restore disc is nothing more than a tool of re-insall OS that will wipe all my data in the process, and this is not desirable.   When you run chkdsk in RC, did you use the /r switch? This is the key! In other words, this should be the command:

  Chkdsk /r

  (there is a space before the slash)

Instead, it has a bunch of folders and files, one of them is called setup.exe. I click on the file setup.exe, which explain that the setup.exe is not a valid win32 application.

  The X 15 65733 file is the file .iso Windows 7 Home Premium image. You have to burn to a dvd as a bootable disk to install Windows 7.

  You would get on a LOB if ORA-0155

  (a) the LOB storage has been defined with PCTVERSION which is low (Oracle use not the Undo Segments, but use the space in the LOB Segment itself and if it isn't enough for several updates an ORA-0155 is triggered, which is not really related to Undo Segments, but the space in the LOB segment)

  (b) the LOB storage has been defined with RETENTION which is low
  (Even if you increase undo_retention, you change the LOB segment to PCTVERSION and then again in DETENTION for it to use the new value of undo_retention).

  Given that the ORA-01555 error really do not relate to the Undo segments, I believe that it would not be in the alert.log file - but I have not checked this.
