scale batch a bunch of clips in 1080 720

Hi people,

Just start 1080 but always cuts to 720.  Is it possible across all my photos from source to 720 before dropping them on the timeline (or a preset or something I can apply).

Currently I have to insert the clip in the timeline and then go motion > scale and type 67.  Its kinda of a pain in the ass to do it manually for each clip

Also while I am, that there is a way to get the default handles on each clip on the timeline to come as time remap rather than the opacity effect?

You can scale a clip that you want, select & copy, select all the clips and paste attributes (motion) to all the clips.

  • Make a movie with clips of 1080 and 4 k sources

    Hi all

    If I do a movie with clips of 1080 p sources (like my iPhone 6) and 4 k sources (like my GoPro) I'll still be able to export the animation to quality 4 k? Is there something specific I need to do to keep export k 4 option in iMovie available i.e. the order I add clips in the project, etc.? Will be 1080 p "blasts upward" clips at 4 k resolution?

    Thank you for your help.

    Miles

    10.1.2 iMovie will use the size of the first element that you add to your project to determine the format of the exported movie.

    See Help: http://help.apple.com/imovie/mac/10.1/#/move6ccb3330

    The resolution and the frame rate of your movie project are determined by the first clip you add to the timeline. iMovie now supports 4 K video and image rates at 30 frames per second (fps). If you want your project to be set at 4K resolution, the first clip you add to the timeline should be a clip of 4K. If you want your project to be set to 60 fps, the first clip you add to the timeline should be a clip of 60 frames per second.

  • Help to apply an action to a bunch of clips to child

    Hi people,

    I'm trying to map dealer locator. I thought it would take me a day to understand, and I've been struggling with it for a week. I almost all done, but there is something about that yet, I can't get a grip.

    I have an accordion component containing the list of dealers, called 'myAccordion '. I am loading a file xml in it as follows:

    var my_xml:XML = new XML();
    my_xml.ignoreWhite = true;
    my_xml. OnLoad = {function (success:Boolean)}
    MyLabel.set_Text = this.firstChild.childNodes [0];
    myTextArea.text = this.firstChild.childNodes [1];
    myTextArea2.text = this.firstChild.childNodes [2];
    myTextArea3.text = this.firstChild.childNodes [3];
    myTextArea4.text = this.firstChild.childNodes [4];
    };
    my_xml. Load ("NY.xml");

    Then I have a movieclip called 'map '. In it are 50 child video clips (one for each State) who are appointed "NY" (for new york), 'WA' (for washington), etc.

    When someone clicks on a State, I need 2 things:

    1. change the color of the State
    3. load a doc xml with the same name (wa.xml, ny.xml, etc.) in myAccordion

    How to apply an action to all children of the sheet which will do?

    A colleague of my figured it using something like this:

    function to set the color in the active state
    var setActive:Function = function() {}
    this.myColor = new Color (this);
    this.myColor.setRGB (0xE1AD3F);

    }

    function to set the color in the idle state
    var setInactive:Function = function() {}
    this.myColor = new Color (this);
    this.myColor.setRGB (0xEBE9ED);
    }

    function to manage on the Press Conference.
    var myOnPress:Function = function() {}
    Browse all about _root.map and disable.
    for {(i in _root.map)
    If (typeof (_root.map ) is' objects ' ') {}
    _root.map
    . setInactive();.
    }
    }
    started actively
    this.setActive ();

    determine our xml to load, based on my name.
    var n = this._name.substr (2, this._name.length) + ".xml";
    trace ("press the function called on:" + this ._name);
    _root.my_xml (n);
    }

    It would be your xml object,
    var my_xml = {additionnerAX
    trace ("myxml called:" + n);
    }

    to loop through everything in the _root.map clip and assign functions.
    for {(i in _root.map)
    If (typeof (_root.map ) is' objects ' ') {}
    _root.map
    .setActive = setActive;
    _root.map .setInactive = setInactive;
    _root.map
    .onPress = myOnPress;
    initialize our idle state
    _root.map . setInactive();.
    }
    }

    Thanks for the help.

  • How to record video clips of full 720 p with built in webcam?

    How can I save lot of 720 p clips with a built in webcam and built-in software?  I see that photo booth does, but it uses a weird square resolution. I want normal 720 p for youtube or other?  Is this possible with built in software? If so, how?  If not, are there free programs that will do the trick?  Thank you.

    The answer is here if anyone needs it:

    Re: How to capture 720 p webcam video?

  • the clip of fps 720 p 120 of GoPro Hero3 black not identified by Premiere Pro CS6

    Hello. My Hero3 clip black Gopro is not recognized as a 120fps clip. I've read people saying that it is normal because first pro does not recognize them for anyone... But that of the case, watch this clip:

    http://youtu.be/YeHCUNH4KcM

    In all about 30 second, it shows how she recognizes that the file is actually 120fps, in this same screen, I the file is 59, 94fps and not 120 frames per second it is really.

    What I am doing wrong?

    Thank you.

    If anyone is still interested in it.

    Which solved the problem for me, is to download the editing studio 2.0 software gopro (http://gopro.com/software-app/gopro-studio)

    then import export your file with the option for further editing or archiving, import this file into the first, or after-effects

    and it will acknowledge with 120fps!

    not an expert video codec, new CineForm avi file, don't know if there is any loss of quality

  • Premiere Pro 4 k in 1080 p clips editable?

    Can first Pro Edition 4 k clips in 1080 p with the 1080 p frame move in the 4 k frame.

    Thanks for your help.

    Set you up a schedule of 1080 p and drop the 4K images in this timeline. Which it allows to change the settings.

    Game of all the images to the size of the image by selecting all images in the timeline and right click

    With the value image images size will remain at its original size.

    You will be able scale it upwards or move it as you wish.

  • How to put a video Clip on the scale and avoid the deterioration of the Image?

    Hi, I'm trying to determine the best way to put across a number of videos in my sequence, so that I can ' digitally zoom "on the action and again, we hope to avoid degradation of the focus/sharpness of the image.

    My concern is that using the Scale-up effect, is to distort the images, that is stretching the pixels.

    (one of the clips that I tried to use the scale effect appears blurry and distorted, but it could have been a problem of automatic update, I'm not sure).

    Here are the details of my installation.

    I'm under PP CS5.5 on Windows 7, and I have a card Nvidia CUDA.

    I shot the video on a Canon Vixia HF/S21 in 1920 x 1080 p at 24 Mbps (Canon calls this MXP and the 'p' is not native, is "drop-down" menu inside the camera).

    My output will be h.264 for the web. I'm fine with the dimensions of the output at 1280 x 720. The output doesn't have to be 1920 x 1080, BUT it would be nice IF I could the 1920 x 1080 output while keeping the image sharp and vivid. If 1280 x 720 gives better results then I'll do it.

    So my questions are the following:

    (1) using the scale effect PPCS5.5 result in a distortion of the image

    -It causes the image to get blurry, less sharp/crisp?

    -(I'm scaling the clips of 50-70%)

    (2) is it interesting to define the parameters of the sequence at 1280 x 720 (instead of match clips at 1920 x 1080)?

    -My thought is to set the parameter sequence to these Dimensions of lower resolution and I can get a 50% scale upwards by simply * not * using 'Ladder to the chassis' on the clips I want 50% furred.

    If you shot 1080 and 720 is finished, allowing some flexibility to scale.  PR calculates scale in two ways, which is very confusing.  If you set your sequence on 720 and preferences to the default scale to the size of the image, all the clips in 1080 you will add later will show 100% in control of the effects > tab, movement, even if the Pr has put across your footage in 1080 at about 45% to frame 720.

    I suggest you uncheck default scale to the size of the image.  Then, when you add your 1080 videos to your 720 sequence, it will be scaling to 100% (for real) and it will be bigger than your raster 720.  Only by doing so you know if you climbed your film beyond 100% when you are panoramic and analysis later.

    Your first clip to meet the sequence, copy and use attributes to paste on the rest of your clips in 1080 to bring to the 720 frame scale to the bottom of the scale.  Then you can make adjustments from there.

    BTW, there is an article on the Adobe site how the CUDA scaling is greater than Ps and Ae scaling.  Maybe someone can find the link or you can search the site from her.

  • 1080 and 4 k in the same timeline

    Hello

    I just did the update days of first pro CC a 2014, 2015. 4

    Anyone know comment can have the 1080 and 4 k in the same timeline

    before it was automatically but there...

    Thanks in advance for your help

    I have not seen any change in behavior it. If you start to tell a sequence with a clip of 1080 and drop a clip k 4 on it, you should check if "Adapt to the size of the image" (checked) the edit/preferences dialog box, you probably prefer not controlled so that it uses "Set to framesize" by default.

    Other than that, just drag & drop, should be fine. Now, from a sequence with a k 4 clip then drop a 1080 on that... either you will get a small clip in black box or if you scale upward, a LOT of pixelation. Not normally what we prefer.

  • 4K vs 1080 p made - why different?

    Can someone tell me what could happen?

    I have a video source 4K (from a Panasonic GH4) only once in 4 K, and 1080 p (50% scale) looks different. The rendering of 1080 p is identical to the appearance of the element within the EA. The clip of 4K is much darker. Here is a screenshot of a portion of an image of each rendition. (I mention even who's who, as should be obvious from my description, unless my eyes deceive me.)

    1080pVs4k.JPG

    I have no idea what might happen. I use v13.8.0.144 on 10 to win. The clips have been returned by using the Photo - JPEG codec.

    Ideas? Things to try?

    Thank you

    Ken

    Interesting. Seems the compression of the images through the Jpeg codec algorithm does not do well to him, but before we assume that this is true, are these screenshots from a few Ae after importing the images into Ae? because this should be your platform in comparison. If this is the case, we show the settings of project information near the thumbnail for each of them. Also try to test a short sequence in a different codec: Jpeg2000 or Animation and share the results.

  • Mixture of 1080 p and 4K on the same Timeline

    If I have a timeline 1080 (16:9) and then slide a clip of 4K on this subject, the 4K clip appears to be almost twice the size as the clips in 1080.  I have to go to effects Control - Motion (or double click on the item in the program monitor) to obtain the bounding... which allows me to reduce the image to fit the 16:9 format correctly.  Conversely, if the timeline was initially installed for 4K clips and a clip of 1080 fell into the timeline, it seems about half size in the program monitor.

    If my original video clip on the timeline is still 1080-16:9, is there a setting in Premiere Pro that allows to detect and properly size (to fit the 1080 - 16:9) clips of 4K or will, I need to reduce the size of each clip 4K manually.  I know that 4K is 4096 x 2160 and 1080 is 1920 X 1080 but can Premiere Pro who recognize and reduces the footprint of the clip in a timeline/sequence of 1080 previously defined 4K.

    (Of course when ALL the clips on the timeline are 4K or ALL clips are 1080, the sizing problem does not exist.  The problem happens when I mix the two.

    First Pro CC 2015.2 version, Windows 7 Professional

    One way to do it:

    In your current project, select all of your source of 4K in the project Panel clips and once selected, go to the menu Clip > video Options > and select the frame.

    Now they are all sized to the chronology of the HD.

    If you want this behavior on future projects, go to Preferences > general and check "Default scale to frame size".

    Another way is to leave the default scale to the size of the frame not controlled and when to place 4K clips on a timeline HD, control (on the right) click on the clip and choose the value size of the frame.

    The difference is that with scale to the size of the image, material 4K watch scale 100% when filling out the HD picture, then with the value to the size of the image, the clip shows scale of 50% - which is much more useful, if you plan to enlarge or to reposition the image.

  • Filmed in 1080 p, but when I export it shows up in 720 p...

    I filmed all my videos in 1080 p, and after that I edited the clips and try to export, it appears as 720 p. I have an intro and outro in 720 p, then is why my edited video is now displayed in 720 p?

    In export control, that's what he said... Exit summary: 1280 x 720 (1.0), 29.97 FPS,.

    I want it to be 1080

    Help, please. Thank you!

    Right click on one of your clips in 1080 in the project Panel, and select new sequence of the clip. This will make a sequence to match the majority of your videos. Copy all of the clips in your original sequence and paste it into the new. Titles can now be too small, on the right, click the clip on the timeline and selected the scale to the size of the image.

  • Question on the scale to the size of the image.

    So if select scale to the size of the image on 4 k sound clip now 1080... When I Zoom in on this now clip 1080, am I zoom in the film source 4 k or 1080? Also if I uncheck scale to the size of the image the 1080 images back to the 4 k?

    Thanks in adance

    You are zoom in a framework of 1080 100%, which means losing the image quality.

    In other words do not use size framesize but the framesize value, it will keep its original framesize of 4K.

  • Look for multiple clips at once

    Hey there,

    So, I would like to get this right. If I use the direct link from first to Speedgrade, there is no way to easily apply a glance to multiple clips other than the use of adjustment layers?
    I have pictures of different places all over my calendar, it would be a pain to create layers of adjustment for all the clips.
    Back when I was using apple color, I just select them and drag a look at the selection and the bam, done.
    Is it really not possible with Speedgrade?

    In short, no... you can not select multiple clips in Sg to the class at the same time or drop a glance on. There are ways to copy grades but they are all by the clip, with the exception of using adjustment layers. And Yes, the creation of adjustment on a bunch of clips spread layers is a royal pain. Feel free to fill a feature request of the possibility to select several clips... and discontiguous multiple clips... for the ranking in some sort of batch.

    /Feature bug report form requires Adobe...

    https://www.Adobe.com/cfusion/mmForm/index.cfm?name=wishform

    I would like no end if it appeared within the programs.

    Currently, the two ways to do what you want is as above dummergold... Place the head on the clip you want to change, rest the mouse over the clip you want to copy from and click on 'C', or use the keypad 1-9 for copy/paste a grade.

    The other takes a little more ' splaining. The default guess of origin before the current clip (with head of reading about it). Count however many clips to the left that you want to use for your settings (up to 9) and using the keypad, click this number. So... If it's just the previous clip, you would click on the 1 on the numeric keypad. ALL the current standings will be replaced by what is on the clip you selected by entering your number and once again 1-9 clips before your currently selected clip.

    To reverse the process and choose a quality according to the item currently selected, you hold ALT first and then click on the sign '+' keypad to reverse the "default"... and then any number from 1 to 9, you hit on the pad will capture the rank of this clip, 1-9 after the currently displayed item, and drop this clip to replace all the existing settings. In order to work immediately after this clip for the shade desired put the playback head on a clip, hit the number 1-9...

    Back to grabbing the clip settings to before the item that is currently displayed, it's... ALT and the minus sign ' - '. Here again, the settings from that much before clips the clip ongoing hit 1a9 seizes.

    Once you get used to it, you can move along at a decent pace. Like you, I prefer to be able to skip the long however.

  • How to remove clips on external drive with fcpx

    Hi all

    Using the latest version of fcpx.  I went to store stuff today in order to free up space on the external drive that contains all my data of fcpx.

    To do this, I deleted unused takes.  So I select a bunch of clips > right click > move to trash > empty trash > fact.  Or so I thought.

    After doing this for a while, I was wondering how much space I had erased on the external hard drive so I click on 'get info' and find it strange that I didn't win any space at all.  Then in fcpx I I tried to right click on a clip of a decision-making > reveal in finder and I can see all the other clips I had "deleted" always there on the external hard drive!

    Can someone explain to me how to remove clips on an external drive in fcpx?  Also is there a simple way to fix the confusion I have now?  Basically, fcpx displays the content exactly as I want it to be on the external hard drive, it just does not actually all that...  Please don't tell me I have to manually locate and delete each clip - there are hundreds!

    Much help appreciated

    When you say that your clips are on an external drive do you mean that they are in a folder outside the library? If this is the case, yes they must be deleted manually.
