Scaling of objects that I joined - objects are distorted as is snapping on a grid?

I joined two circles to create a stick, and now when I adapted form Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 (and thus prior CC), it distorts, as if it's slam on a grid.

I disabled "align new objects to the pixel grid" in the transform, as well as 'snap to grid' palette under the notice.

In the image as an attachment, you will see the two original black circles in the background.

I copied and pasted to the front, then joined the forms manually (by removing the closest points, then join the open ends of the circles).

then he red color with transparency to illustrate what is happening.

When I size things down, the difference becomes more apparent:

Screen Shot 2015-07-02 at 10.04.52 AM.png

It is IMPOSSIBLE to even manually place objects on each other.

The Red shape is aligned away from the circles below.

Another example:

The S (below) has been created manually. When I reduce it in scale, corners it's become distorted and deformed. the same spaces between the lines of the S appear to block some grid and deform.

m,

Are you sure that the objects are not aligned to the pixel grid, already?

Here is a more complete description, including the two options:

You can select the entire document and untick finally align on the pixel grid in the Transform palette and uncheck also align new objects to the pixel grid in the options of the Launcher. It is crucial that the checkbox is disabled completely, not just a - which also count as ticked.

It may be noted that even align with the pixel grid is cleared with all the selected objects, align new objects to the pixel grid is checked as the creation of new objects will result in these new objects being aligned, even when they are created from existing objects that can happen with Pathfinder operations.

You can avoid the types of documents with the default (RGB for the web and other) or change the default value for such documents.

  • Why are the objects become distorted when zoomed in?

Let's say for example that I have create a form of target at a relatively large size. I then reduce it to a more appropriate size and proceed to zoom in on the object. When I Zoom, the target is completely distorted. It is a problem I've come across recently that I just upgraded to cs4 to cs5.1. Illustrator is vector, objects must be crispy and look that even if they are resized to the size of the artboard full or down to only 1% of it, correct?

I posted a screenshot of the issue I run underneath. The largest shape on the left is normal, and the right is the same shape just scaled down. Note: this form does not features, it's a Uni fill. Thanks for any help in advance!

  • scaling two objects together

In CS3, I have two objects that I placed separately on the page.  I need to change the first to fit the page and I need the second nationally with the first (ie. scale at the same rate).  I tried to group the two objects by selecting the two windows, but each scales objects without affecting the other.  I tried to select the two objects (not windows, Brown Windows for each), but 'Group' is not a valid command.

Does anyone know how to do this?  Short chipping at the same time, if there was a way to see exactly what percentage is scaling an object via the click and drag method, then I could apply this percentage to the second object, but I don't see where this information is displayed.

    Thank you

    Loutro

Didn t mention you what type of objects you are trying to manage. With images you can use percentages easier than with other types of objects...

If you just want for them the scale at the same time with the mouse, use the free transform in the tools Panel.

  • How the binary objects are sorted

Live treatment image "IMAQ particle analysis" and "IMAQ MaskToROI.vi" returns the characteristics of binary objects detected in a specific order. My question is how objects are sorted before results are returned.

Look at the following example. I'm totally confused why two screws returned the second object in the first row first?

I was trying to get the centers of each object (and their contours) and assuming that they were sorted by their positions on the y-axis first and then positions itself on X. It is most of the time, until you see here on the first line. What happened here? Why the second object is sorted as the first object? HOW the binary objects are sorted anyway?

I got it. It has to be sorted by the corner up and left of the rectangle of the object.

  • Not all objects are showing on Pg 1 PDF export

    Hi all

I'm working on an interactive PDF, but when I export to PDF format, most of the objects are missing from the first page. This includes the text in blocks of text as a picture in a picture frame.

No idea where to start looking for the problem.

My experience is on display as well as the 3 objects at the bottom of the page, so I checked layers to make sure this isn't something strange that happens there, but looked very well (the background is completely at the bottom) so do not know what could be the problem...

I have attached a screenshot. On the left is what is displayed in the PDF file and on the right is what shows InDesign...

Any help is very appreciated! Thanks in advance.

I tried to understand this too. I re-create the red background. Delete and recreate it. Also, why did you choose a spot for the reds. It should be process red (you are viewing this on the screen in RGB). The current background image shows as that group (has a dotted line around him and shows a group in the effect controls panel), but I can't separate it.

Photoshop of smart, but does not know which areas are safe and which are not.  When Content Aware Fill came out I was super impressed, but he used to introduce undesirable elements in fixed areas.  My solution was to select the areas of security of the layer and copy it into a new layer.  Then use College on the copied layer so that it had only safe pixels to draw.   What I tend to do these days is to divide the school into small pieces.  PS seems to do much better when asked to set smaller areas.
