  I have an OfficeJet 6700. I need to scan documents of several large double-sided pages and want to use the automatic charger. I see nothing in the software to be able to analyze one side of a pile of pages, return them manually, then analyze the other side, and have the pages in a single document. It seems to me that this would be a fairly routine business need and also an easy enough task for software realize (just put each page second in order - basically the opposite of manually printing on both sides) so it makes me think that I must be missing something. Can anyone help please?

  The 6700 Officejet does not a duplex ADF to allow you to scan a two-sided document. Copy/scanning duplex is supported only in the glass on the model.
  
  I suggest that you are looking to buy a printer Officejet Pro (for example, the Officejet Pro 8600 N911g) If you are looking for the digitization of documents front / back, through the ADF. You can also look for third-party software that supports what you're looking for.

  What is the equivalent command to set the page number of the InDesign document to when choosing a page to import?

  I tried to use:

  but to no avail.

• Need help with a form and allowing several pages

  I am trying to create a form that can be several pages, if necessary, based on the size of a text field.  To give you an idea of what I'm looking for, the form has a header and a footer (if you want) and then a text field used for a story to report.  This narrative field must be able to expand according to the amount of information entered by the end user.  In addition, we have the footer to move to the second page, when necessary.  I have been working on it for awhile now and followed some advice from this forum on the creation of dynamic forms, subforms and similar, but have not been able to get the form working properly.  The problem I encounter is that the text field (narrative field) develop, apparently on page two, but is not created two page.  Also, it covers the footer, which makes a jumble of words.

  Any ideas or suggestions on how to make this work?

  Maybe this is a stupid question.  How do you define the page of the document to exactly what you design.  I need to create an ad by e-mail to the 800px 650px.

  The short answer is that you don't set limits to a document, such as e-mails, Web sites or other. An email to read on an iPhone will have completely different dimensions for a reading on a computer screen. Mesaages read in Outlook will behave different to those read in a text format.

  Hello, I built a script week last to help me remove the formatting and some to reapply the formatting on a large number of files. I am still learning a lot about how to create scripts and what are the commmands but I almost doen with everything I put in it. One of the last things I want to add is to delete the last page of the Indesign file if it has content or not. Is this possible? Can someone point me in the right direction? Thank you

  Something like this:

  if (app.activeDocument.pages.length > 1)
       app.activeDocument.pages[-1].remove();
  

  First check to see if the document contains multiple pages and does, delete the last page.

  I'm scanning a flight log so I can't use the ADF. I need to scan in PDF format and have several pages. I want only 1 PDF - not 10 different PDF files with 10 different pages... Try everything and nothing seems to work.

  My old O/Jet is done without any problem! This scanner does nothing if this feature has disappeared.

  I understand you want to scan several pages of your diary in a single file, using the scanner bed. You should see an option to add another page after each page is done scanning.

  I use a s 6830 model HP laptop with Windows Vista op system Business and a model HP 6210 all-in-one printer, Fax, Scanner, copier. I'm having a problem scanning and e-mailing several pages of a document. Some of my recipients receive all pages OK but some receive only the first page. If I scan and email from several pages to myself, I get all pages, but another customer who just bought a new computer advise he gets only the first page. He also tells me that he gets several pictures of his family while he insists on the fact that there is something wrong with my computer. Is there a way I can set up my computer to send all copies of the scanned several pages to all recipients? Or is it something I could suggest to those recipients who are unable to receive several pages to properly configure their computer?

  I just updated my OS to Mountain Lion (10.8). With Snow Leopard, I was able to scan more than 1 page using my dish. Now, I can scan only 1 page. How to scan more than 1 page in a document that does not work in the document feeder.

  Scan using Capture of Image in your Applications folder.  Click your scanner on the left, click Show details on the background.

  Select PDF as the format and then check the box that says «Combine in a single document»

• Folio Builder - impossible to import several Pages / Single single Pages work

  Don't know what I'm doing wrong but I built folios with unique pages, but when you create a document successfully InDesign (all in landscape) with several pages it comes up with the error "the proportions of page size must match the proportions of folio.  I created the cover and I'm coming up with the error trying to "import" (FYI / I have mirrored, creating folios of the webcast "Terry White").  No problems with a single page document import.  For every document that is created, I used the schooling or _v ensure that enforcement includes their orientation correctly.

  I found the solution and it literally hit me in the face.  When you create a document, you MUST select ' INTENTION: WEB ' vs. the default ' INTENTION: PRINT ", Yes, that obviously makes sense but that has been the question.  Haven't tried the facing pages vs deselected, that should work online with a layout, I'm trying to replicate, but who did.

  Appreciate the help of everyone.
