• Firefox can be optimized for google docs

  When I set up a spreadsheet online in google docs, darkening of the Firefox splash screen, other aspects of slow running.   Well something good and bad.

  I supported Firefox with FEBE, then not connected and closed. A backup of a computer and re-i9nstalled Firefox. When I opened Firefox I had a problem with Gdrive (Ubuntu 'My car' interface), Gdrive so re-installed/updated. In the process, there was msg that old Gdrive files would be deleted. It also appears that uninstalling Firefox left most environment Firefox. I was able to get to the worksheet and got the script error. I opened one half of the same script first, error. I created a new file and adds a few googlefunctions, no error. Google has recently updated their program Calc for spreadsheet, and I noticed a difference in the new file. I thought the update update was backward compatible, maybe not. I'll check google to see if there are similar problems. Solved?

  I want to do a promotional mailing to my list of clients who are hurt at the opening of attachments nototriously. So I want to put the flyer "in color" in the body of an email. How can I do this?

• Recently, when I open a Google Doc spreadsheet (that I created), I can see the data but cannot type any changes.

  Firefox is my main browser. I have often to create and share spreadsheets Google Doc. All of a sudden, when I run one of my Google Docs, I can see the data but cannot make changes. Even an attempt to click a cell and type something (or change a format) receives no response.

  I tried to use Safari and IE, and the problem is is NOT manifested in these browsers.

  Wow! Starting Firefox in SafeMode circumvented the problem. I was able to edit the worksheet.

• Impossible to type sign less in the Google Docs spreadsheet

  In a Google Docs spreadsheet, I can't enter a sign less (dash) in a cell until what I typed in a number, then I can go back and enter a less. I think it started with Firefox 15.0, and I have reproduced it on another Mac, both running OS 10.7.4.

  I also have this problem. When I get a negative number, I begin by = before I get the sign less!

  On google chrome, I get:

• problem with google docs

  all of a sudden everything on google docs and gmail starts to get awkward and slow then freeze - I can open the docs on one computer but not on another - so in google docs, open not files, but in firefox on another computer, they do and chrome, they do - I uninstalled and reinstalled several times - what is happening?

• Since the update to Firefox 13, most of google's sites will not work in the browser, including gmail, google docs and even research.

Please enter Subject: config in the location bar, search for the preference named network.http.keep - alive and switch to true, the default, by double-clicking on it. This should make the pages encrypted google dependent again.

• Firefox crashes when you type Spanish accented in Google Docs

• HP Pavilion 17 Laptop: Why I can't access Google Docs?

  It is a brand new laptop, just arrived today and I can access Google Mail and Google Calendar, but it only allows me to access any documents, sheets of calculation or slideshows that I created in Google Docs.  I keep said that there is a problem with the security certificate for the site, and I move forward and continue to the site, I get a message of OpenDNS 'this area is blocked due to content filtering.

  There is probably a simple solution for this but I used apples during the past five years and thought I'd go back to a PC it is usually easier when touring with a presentation, but the laptop isn't good for me if I can't access Google Docs.  Help?

  Thanks for the help - I discovered that he was not really something wrong with the HP but with permissions on the network.  Problem solved.  My old man confusion has been compounded by the fact that I could access gmail and calendar, but nothing else.  Appreciate the assist.

  Why won't the Xoom browser allow me to select and format text in documents in Google Docs (in desktop mode)? I hate the fact that it default to mobile versions.

  I've tested this on the Xoom and the iPad. The iPad can do (although initially, he had some problems, but at least it worked).

  Yes that helps a little. Just to be sure, I was clear on what I wanted to, I was wondering if it was imperative that a browser was imperative. With respect to documents, if a 3rd party app or browser allows you to manipulate your documents of * me * is unimportant as long as I can do

  In any case, this is what I've tried so far, the stock browser, firefox mobile, Dolphin and skyfire (although I normally do not trust any browser that sends data through its own server first then back out you especially if the document information is sensitive), and they are all mainly display the same behavior... However, I think the fact that there is that no actual pointing device is what is the real problem. With this in mind, I think that, however, any browser would be problematic.

  I also tried it on my iPad and have the same problem as with other browsers, as I do in the mobile Safari browser. Again, I think that the problem is not have a pointing device to see the real highlight of the text on each device.

  I'm still poking around well, but I think that the options are limited at this point Jim. That brings up another point, although several steps into play in 3rd party apps, I have not found it is HORRIBLE when using or Quickoffice or ThinkFree, D2G, when it comes to database formatting... circumspect, (at least for me) it becomes a replacement mobile phone but with a learning curve. I recognize, someone somewhere along the line has a much more intuitive solution for tablets Honeycomb based.

  When I try to add the eStorage printable my 7525 Photosmart to scan to Google Drive, I get a pop up on the computer that says: "we couldn't add this printable. This printable cannot rely on your printer.  There is no work around for this?

  What is your ultimate goal in the 'scanning' the document? I try to read between the lines here, so, if it's to send by e-mail, I would recommend that create you a PDF file using one of the many PDF printer drivers (I use PrimoPDF to http://www.primopdf.com/index..aspx.  You should install this program, then it creates a printer driver.  In Word, you make a file, print, and then select this printer.  He then asked a file name.  Place the file in a location where you know the location and then let to print.  Once done, you can then attach the PDF file to an e-mail message.
   
  If you want to "scan" for another reason, please advise.
