• How/where to make drawing/sketch video for website

  I am new on all Adobe applications but have the CS5 Master Suite and took many courses through Lynda.com for months.  I would like to know how to make a little video of an object being developed.  Who is using a Tablet and stylus (whatever they are called drawing... I have NO idea) and trace on a photo.  When finished, I hope to have the video of the created slowly track the object accelerated and when complete fade away and the real photograph of the path object overlap fade in discovers. In other words use this as a technique of transition for the presentation of a photograph of an object rather then do just 'pop' on the screen.  My questions are: (1) what specific drawing board and stylus are required (if applicable... can I do it with just the mouse?) (2) is Flash Professional program would be used to make such a video?  If this is not the case, what program Adobe suited to this task and (3) there's he gave a NAME to this 'technical' in any program in response to the question two so I know where to start or find a tutorial on how to do this technique?  (I guess describing how to proceed is too tedious for this forum.)  If I am wrong tell me please.)  Thank you.

  You could get a Wacom tablet and traces on your photo in Photoshop and save the process using a screen recorder application. I'm much too lazy to do that sort of thing. Do a google search on sketch effect in Photoshop. You will find a whole long list of tutorials that will explain the different ways to get the version of the sketch of your photo. You will find that you can get the large and the small level of detail by changing the parameters of the filters used in the process. You can save each of these variations on a different layer in Photoshop. You can use these layers as the development of the version of the sketch from the photo.

  Each layer can then be imported into Flash. You can then in the Flash animation.

• Videos YouTube won't play. The black screen and the pictures are the same.

  The videos do not play or load at all. Just like thumbnails. The comments section constantly says "loading". I have tried every thing on the site here to solve these problems. The only thing that has worked to be honest was trying to load Internet Explorer. Adblock Plus and Flash Player plugins are either removed or disabled. Tried to make a new profile and delete the folder in %AppData%. It works for awhile and then randomly the fact still.

  Things that CAN help with this problem. YouTube is the only site that does that when it comes to videos. Sites require that use flash sometimes will not play even if everything is clean installed. I have Nvidia Geforce experience working with shadowplay allowed to also record the Desktop connections to. Because it uses the h.24 codec, I thought it was clashing with him the origin of the problem. I can turn off shadowplay and reload the youtube page 2 to 3 times and the main video will play only.

  Finally, I let fall the other day, put everything back as it was and put the computer to sleep. When I woke up I decided what the Hey, ill youtube charge just for fun to see if it fixes as if by magic. Well, it does. So tonight its back to the drawing board again. I had noticed that wouldn't change items when twitch on my homepage from yahoo with the news. So I decided to try the webtools / tool to reload the network page. Fixed flash yahoo run of new articles but then my problem youtube is back! Ive a fire fox for as long as I can remember and never had any problems with it! If Ive come here, it means Ive gave up stubborn. I'm proud of myself on my own attachment issues, but this one has me so I yield.

  You can view the log in the Web Console for error messages and network monitor (Firefox/tools > Web Developer) to see if the content does not load, or may be blocked.

  Use Ctrl + F5 or Ctrl + Shift + R to reload the page and bypass the cache to generate a new connection.

  That's enough for me to leave Apple. It is INCREDIBLY complicated. I spent 1/2 hour scouring the internet for the answer. I don't want to hit select 150 times. I want to just DELETE ALL the photos from my iPhone. It might be an easy answer Apple? I tried to Capture of Image, I tried Photos Apple, I tried to use the iPhone. No responses. You all seriously need to go back to the drawing board on this. My 64 GB iPhone 6 is full, my pictures are saved on my MacBook. I WANT TO JUST DELETE PHOTOS DARN OUT OF THE IPHONE IN ONE STEP! I am on iOS 9.3.4.

  When you connect your phone to the pc or mac, it will read it as a camera - then from there you can bulk delete.

• Firefox won't open the shockwave flash files because there are 2 types?

  Firefox does not open some swf files when I say that this is the cause. However, http://edmullen.net/test/poopboy.swf works fine.

  So it has got 2 different types of SWFs to meet him. I can't tell the top affliate background is the same way.

  I tried to uninstall the plugin. This removed the bottom and meant that the poopboy.swf I also linked didn't work in the same way, however, put it back, I was just back to the drawing board.

  I want to add that these particular .swf files that I'm running worked yesterday so file corruption is not the problem, especially since I went and all the redownloaded.

  These two SWF entries are on different MIME types that first one appears to be damaged or at least unusual. and probably the second (application/x-shockwave-flash) should be there.

  You can rename (or delete) the file mimeTypes.rdf in the profile folder of Firefox to reset all the actions file.

• same old same old

  has recently got an ipad opportunity 1, big mistake as always because I hate trying to use Apple stuff. And these days its as if this tablet has been forgotten by apple in many ways. But they are very cheap and it's mainly why I got even. Its for my little brother for 3 years and if he destroyed this 'thing' who cares. ITunes is much more difficult that it should be. I just think, they can limit what you can do and let you see what they want to see you. I tried to raise my old apple ID and password to the days when I thought I would try an Iphone. took me about 6 hours to finally connect again in him. Downloaded the app/program harder to mankind to understand out = Itunes on my PC. must be he usual 5 minutes to open. locked my computer twice in the process. of the stop and restart to finally open itunes screen. had haunted my references several times and allow this and that, before I could just put some top videos. They don't know what a pain in the thigh is this process? I had a single video there, then when I tried to put a few others he removed the premiera then put others on the there.   Do you want an iPad, out in 2010 to be blazing fast Apple have forgotten because it is 6 years old and does not support the latest firmware. Why do you expect apps to open instantly on a 6 year iPad, it would be good for browsing the web. iPads slow down over time so stop complaing as the price corresponds to the performance that you got. If you have not a problem stop wasting people time.

• DJ 500 21:10 error

  Replaced gas station after not being able to go beyond 21:10 error. Error is always present. With the side right, cover, I looked inside gas station movements and movements of surface material. seconds in the station of service from its movements, moving the gears on the outside, only to make a grinding sound and stop.   At all work carried out on the plotter.  The big gray cable of the card at the top sometimes goes to main card gets stuck during a replacement of the belt and cause a 21:10 error.  Also, make sure that the plastic piece grey, you see when you look at right side is turned toward the front of the drawing board.

• Reproducing an event - minimum required files

  What is the set of the file Final Cut to the minimum that I would need to reproduce an editing session (event) made by someone else on another Mac?

  Editior1 and Editor2 both have the same video raw images... stored in folders with the same named.  Both systems have Pref's Final Cut import set to "Let up" and no transcoding to create optimized or proxy support. (i.e. Final Cut stores point edit markers in the file library, without copying the raw images directly in the library)

  Editor1 did the post-production on the video, but download the final rendered file is not possible due to a slow internet connection.  I guess it should be able to just send "edit point markers" and Editor2 would be able to duplicate the work of Editor1.

  In my sample project, right click on the library reveals the following the content of the package:

  0 bytes: _Temp ƒ (folder)

  88 KB: CurrentVerion.flexolibrary

  265 bytes: Settings.plist

  215 MB: event ƒ

  Within event ƒ are:

  115 KB: CurrentVersion.fcpevent

  107 bytes: original media ƒ (alias to real raw image files)

  30 MB: make files ƒ (including subfolders for 'High quality Media', 'Data peaks' and 'Thumbnail Media')

  609 bytes: ƒ shared items

  185 MB: media transcoded ƒ (including a 'High quality Media' subfolder, which holds the final output movie QT as rendering)

  139KO: ƒ Untitled project (which contains the 'CurrentVersion.fcpevent' file)

  Immediately, it is clear that ƒ transcoded media should not be sent.  This should mean Editor1 could send to all other files/folders (a little more than 30 MB of data - instead of 215 MB) and Editor2 would be able to make the final just as film Editor1 he produced.

  The only problem I see is that the alias of "Original Media" will be replaced by Editor2 with alias matching his path to raw image files.

  Would this work?  And I would be able to open the contents of the package to my library and copy the files/folders using Finder?

  Well I thought selective copy of the contents of the package might be the answer... but, it turns out that my sample project (a 40 minute video - no effect right) is not representative of the production that would be involved (a clip... with a lot of cuts and transition effects).  Just the rendering of files ƒ in a real-world example is 25 GB.  Therefore, it does not help.  The final output MP4 movie would be much smaller than that.  Back to the drawing board!

• HP designjet 450 c prnter: no light on HP 450 c

  My plotter does not receive my plots of the computer. I opened the hood to the plotter to clean the ink cartridge, replaced the ink and the light is green fixed but the lights of the cartridge and the data were also, regular orange, I pushed the Cancel button, as I did in the past, data light is out but then makes the witness, the cartridge light stayed on but blinking now orange. I think the cartridge is flashing because I've been running the drawing board without cartridges of color for a little while now. I think that the main problem is no ready light. Any suggestions?

  With the cover open, remove the black cartridge and then again put glancing light.  It should Flash 2 or 3 times.  If it is flashing it means the plotter does not see the cartridge as good or can't read the cartridge as being inserted.  You will then need to try another well-known cartridge.  If the same question, then you may have a problem of transport with the black slot.  You could try the flex connector to the back of the cleaning cart that mates with the cartridge.  Use clear water.

• DJ T2300ps Scan to network

  We have a T2300ps DesignJet that until recently had no problem scanning to a network shared folder. Now, however, when we try to scan the folder with the tracer (or connect to the web interface of the plotter file) we get the following error:

  The shared folder could not be accessed properly. Check the configuration of the network folder, then check that the folder is shared correctly.

  We checked all the network settings (DNS, gateway, etc.) for the drawing board as well as on the network folder sharing settings and it seems that it should be able to connect, but he can't.
  

  Does anyone else have this problem or something similar? Guidance on how to fix it?

  The question is usually on the configuration of scan of the direct axcess to the shared folder, for example the computer name, the user name and password to log on to this computer.  Information should allow HP to access the folder to scan on any computer you use to send scans to.  If HP is unable to find a direct path to the shared folder, then it cannot parse.

• Firefox does not load pages and said "Stopped" in the lower left corner of the screen.

  Latest FF and XP Pro. 2.4 Ghz Celeron processor, 1 GB of RAM. FF will work for awhile then it will stop loading pages and say 'Stop' in the lower left corner of the screen. Sometimes I can refresh and the page loads, but 95 out of 100 times I can keep refreshing and it will say "stopped". Alternatively, the page will be partially load and then quit and say 'stop. ' I disabled IPv6 and DNS Prefetching and he always does. IE does the same. VERY frustrated. My last PC started doing this and I've finally upgraded to a newer version and it was fine for a few months, but began to do the same thing recently. Arghhh... Thank you!

  You, me and many others (from discussions throughout the net) have this same problem. I had a few glances at Mozilla, take a look, they couldn't find a problem or a solution.

  Here's what I found works - the problem arises on me when I upgraded to Firefox 3.63. 3.63 FF of uninstall and install 3.59. You can always download until the end of June or July I think.

  My problems went away with 3.59. Seems to only affect users of Windows as Mac Firefox 3.63 works very well.

  Found a few discussions pointing to ZoneAlarm Firewall time-out managers and some download tools. I have ZoneAlarm, so I don't think that was the cause, just another victim.

  I wish Mozilla would pull the plug on 3.63, repackage as 3.64 3.59 and go back to the drawing board until they find out what is wrong.

  You don't have the last firmware update.  Click on the link below and download the latest firmware and load it into a USB.  Remove all the cables except the plotter, plug the USB key into the usb port on the plotter and turn on the plotter and follow the instructions.  Once the upgrade is made to see if it works when it is connected to the network cable.  If still no joy, get a crossovere cable and connect one end of the drawing board and the other end to one of your computers and see if you get the same error.  If you do not, there is something broadcast on your network that is causing the error.

• Unable to sign saying I'm already logged in on this computer

  I have been using Skype for many years, including my laptop Windows 8 current HP with no problems.

  In the course of the last few weeks 2 Skype has been a nightmare with me, not being able to connect and get a message saying "we cannot open Skype you are already signed in on this computer. Please log out and try again.

  If I right click mouse - I have only the option to quit smoking - do not disconnect. So I chose to quit smoking but it is yet to solve the problem and I get the same message saying: I am already connected.

  I've uninstalled Skype and reinstalled 6 times. 2 times there Skype works again, but only for 1 day and then back to the drawing board. The other that I uninstalled 4 times - it didn't work.

  I work overseas and very connect on Skype to stay in touch.

  Please can someone help me.

  Restart your computer in Safe Mode and then try to reset the settings in Skype (rename the %appdata%\Skype folder and delete the folder DbTemp)...

• HP Designjet 510 false jam

  I have this morning and started the fermentation.  But every piece of evidence that I try to print, I get the false paper jam.  I turn it off and on again, and it prints one.  Then when he starts the following, it does the same thing.

  I recently acquired the Satellite M40X-184. Preloaded software. WinXp. I have a delay on the keyboard. Tried to disable the touchpad. Without success. Have the latest version of the BIOS update. Drivers seem to be good. Not that I know too much about.

  Any assistance to the problem will be greatly appreciated.
